小儿血痢，是由于热毒郁结于血分，血液渗入大肠所致。血液随气在经络中循环，通行于脏腑之间，通常不会停滞。
如果治疗小儿血痢，伴有烦躁发热、口干、腹痛等症状，使用黄连散方。

治疗小儿血痢不止，使用没石子散方。
没石子（一枚，微煨） 肉豆蔻（一枚，去壳） 樗根（三分，锉碎） 茜根（半两，锉碎） 茶末（半两）
以上药物，捣碎并过粗罗筛成散剂。每次服用一钱，用水一小盏，煎至五分，滤去药渣，放温。不限时间，根据患儿年龄大小，分次温服。
治疗小儿血痢，使用地榆散方。
地榆（一两半，微炙后锉碎） 黄柏（一两半，去粗皮，微炙后锉碎） 马蔺子（半两，微炒） 荔根（一两，锉碎）
以上药物，捣碎并过粗罗筛成散剂。每次服用一钱，用水一小盏，煎至五分，滤去药渣，放温。不限时间，根据患儿年龄大小，分次温服。

以上药物，捣细并过细罗筛成散剂。每次服用，用米汤调下半钱，每日三四次，根据患儿年龄大小，加减服用。

治疗小儿血痢，腹部疼痛，使用益母草方。

Pediatric bloody dysentery is caused by heat-toxin stagnating in the blood, causing blood to enter the large intestine. Blood circulates through the meridians with Qi and flows through the Zang-Fu organs, usually without stagnation.
For treating pediatric bloody dysentery accompanied by irritability, fever, dry mouth, and abdominal pain, use Huanglian San (Coptis Powder).
Huanglian (Coptidis Rhizoma) (1 liang, remove mustache, slightly stir-fried), Xijiao (Rhinocerotis Cornu), Baihegen (Lilii Bulbus), Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix) (1 liang each), Baitouweng (Pulsatillae Radix) (3 fen), Manjing (Brassicae Pekinensis Semen).
The above ingredients are coarsely ground and sieved into a powder. Take 1 qian per dose, decoct with 1 small cup of water until reduced to 0.5 cup, filter out the dregs. Administer at any time, adjusting the dosage according to the child's age.
For treating pediatric bloody dysentery with body heat, irritability, abdominal pain, dry mouth, anorexia, and emaciated limbs, use Lingyangjiao San (Antelope Horn Powder).
Lingyangjiao (Saigae Tataricae Cornu) (0.5 liang), Diyü (Sanguisorbae Radix) (0.5 liang, slightly roasted and sliced), Wulan (Isatidis Folium) (0.5 liang), Huanglian (Coptidis Rhizoma) (0.5 liang, remove mustache, slightly stir-fried), Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix) (0.5 liang), Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) (0.5 liang, roasted and sliced), Chishizhi (Kaolinite) (1 liang).
The above ingredients are coarsely ground and sieved into a powder. Take 1 qian per dose, decoct with 1 small cup of water until reduced to 0.5 cup, filter out the dregs. Administer at any time, adjusting the dosage according to the child's age.
For treating persistent pediatric bloody dysentery with sallow and emaciated skin, abdominal pain, and inability to eat, use Qiangen San (Qiancao Powder).

For treating pediatric bloody dysentery, use Diyü San (Sanguisorba Powder).

For treating pediatric bloody dysentery with high fever, use Xijiao San (Rhinoceros Horn Powder).
Xijiao (Rhinocerotis Cornu) (3 fen), Dimaicǎo (likely a local herb, possibly referring to a cooling herb like Hedyotis diffusa or similar, kept as Dimai Cao for accuracy to source) (1 liang).
