时气病中，热毒侵袭心脏，会导致心神烦乱。阳气极度亢盛，进而出现胡言乱语、眼睛发红、心烦意乱、无法安睡、精神惊恐悸动、言语失常等症状。若热毒未能清除，肠道内燥屎结聚，脉象洪大且数，这些都是该病的征候。
治疗时气病中因热毒引起的躁动烦闷、胡言乱语、口舌干燥口渴不止的症状，适宜服用秦艽散方。
药材包括：秦艽（去除苗头）、黄芩、木通、犀角屑、麦门冬（去除心部）、玄参、蓝叶、栀子仁、甘草（炙至微红并锉碎，以上各三分）、赤芍药（一分）、桔梗（一分，去除芦头）。
将上述药物捣碎过筛制成散剂。每次服用四钱，用水一中盏，煎煮至六分，滤去药渣。不限时间，温服。
治疗时气病中大热、烦闷混乱、胡言乱语的症状，适宜服用白藓皮散方。
药材包括：白藓皮、犀角屑、川升麻、大青、甘草（炙至微红并锉碎，以上各一两）。
将上述药物捣碎过筛制成散剂。每次服用五钱，用水一大盏，煎煮至五分，滤去药渣。不限时间服用。
治疗时气病中出现胡言乱语并有奔跑妄动倾向的症状。
药材包括：生鸡蛋清（一枚）、川芒硝（一两，细研）、生甘草末（一钱）。
将上述药物用生水一中盏搅拌均匀，撇去浮沫。不限时间服用。
治疗时气病中心胸膈部大热烦闷、言语失度的症状，适宜服用生地黄饮子方。
药材包括：生地黄（三两）、玄参（一两）、赤茯苓（一两）、麦门冬（一两）、犀角屑（一两）、甘草（半两，炙至微红并锉碎）。
将上述药物全部细锉，混合均匀。每次服用半两，用水一大盏，煎煮至五分，滤去药渣。不限时间，温服。
治疗时气病中烦热如火、胡言乱语并有奔跑妄动倾向的症状。
药材包括：人参（一两，去除芦头）、甘遂（一两，煨至微黄）。
将上述药物捣碎过细罗制成散剂。每次服用一钱，用新汲取的冷水调服。片刻之后，再让患者多喝冷水，以呕吐出来为见效。
治疗时气病中仅表现为胡言乱语、烦躁不安的症状，适宜服用猪苓散方。
药材包括：猪苓（三分，去除黑皮）、白藓皮（三分）、泽泻（三分）、赤茯苓（三分）、大青（三分）、麦门冬（一两，去除心部并焙干）、川大黄（三分）、甘草（半两，炙至微红并锉碎）。
将上述药物捣碎过细罗制成散剂。每次不限时间，用新汲取的冷水调下三钱。
治疗时气病中热毒在脏腑、胡言乱语、口干、烦躁的症状，适宜服用犀角丸方。
药材包括：犀角屑、栀子仁、川大黄（锉碎并微炒）、铁粉（细研）、马牙硝（以上各一两）、甘草（三分，炙至微红并锉碎）。
将上述药物捣碎过罗制成粉末，用炼蜜调和制成丸剂，大小如梧桐子。每次不限时间，用温热的竹叶汤送服三十丸。
治疗时气病中大热不退、胡言乱语、大便困难的症状，使用大黄丸方。
药材包括：川大黄（二两，锉碎并微炒）、黄芩、犀角屑、猪苓（去除黑皮）、枳壳（麸炒至微黄并去除瓤）、川朴硝（以上各一两）。
将上述药物捣碎过罗制成粉末，用炼蜜调和并捣击三二百下，制成如梧桐子大小的丸剂。每次不限时间，用麦门冬汤温热送服三十丸。
In the context of seasonal febrile diseases (Shi Qi), when heat-toxin attacks the Heart, it causes mental restlessness and confusion. When Yang Qi becomes excessively flourishing, delirious speech ensues. Symptoms include red eyes, mental agitation, inability to sleep or lie down comfortably, spiritual fright and palpitations, and abnormal speech. If the toxin is not eliminated, dry stool accumulates in the intestines, and the pulse is surging and rapid; these are the characteristic signs.
For treating seasonal febrile diseases complicated by heat-toxin causing restlessness, oppression, delirious speech, and unceasing dryness and thirst of the mouth and tongue, Qin Jiao San Formula is indicated.
Ingredients: Qinjiao (Gentianae Radix, remove seedlings), Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix), Mutong (Akebiae Caulis), Xijiaoxie (Rhinocerotis Cornu, sliced), Maimendong (Ophiopogonis Radix, remove heart), Xuanshen (Scrophulariae Radix), Lanye (Isatidis Folium), Zhiziren (Gardeniae Semen, remove husk), Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, honey-fried until slightly red and crushed, 3 fen each for the above), Chishaoyao (Paeoniae Radix Rubra, 1 fen), Jiegeng (Platycodonis Radix, 1 fen, remove radicule).
Process the above ingredients by pounding and sieving into a powder. Take 4 qian per dose, decoct with one zhong of water until reduced to six parts, strain, and take warm at any time.
For treating seasonal febrile diseases with high fever, oppression, confusion, and delirious speech, Baixianpi San Formula is indicated.
Ingredients: Baixianpi (Dictamni Cortex), Xijiaoxie (Rhinocerotis Cornu, sliced), Chuanshengma (Polygoni Multiflori Caulis), Daqing (Isatidis Folium), Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, honey-fried until slightly red and crushed, 1 liang each for the above).
Process the above ingredients by pounding and sieving into a powder. Take 5 qian per dose, decoct with one da of water until reduced to five parts, strain, and take at any time.
For treating seasonal febrile diseases presenting with delirious speech and a tendency to run about wildly.
Ingredients: Shengjizi Bai (Album Ovi Galli, one egg white), Chuancangxiao (Natrii Sulfas, 1 liang, finely ground), Sheng Gancao Mo (Powder of Raw Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, 1 qian).
Mix the above ingredients with one zhong of raw water, stir evenly, skim off the foam, and take at any time.
For treating seasonal febrile diseases with severe heat and oppression in the heart and diaphragm, and loss of verbal control, Sheng Dihuang Yinzi Formula is indicated.
Ingredients: Sheng Dihuang (Rehmanniae Radix Recens, 3 liang), Xuanshen (Scrophulariae Radix, 1 liang), Chi Fuling (Polyporus with Red Mycelium, 1 liang), Maimendong (Ophiopogonis Radix, 1 liang), Xijiaoxie (Rhinocerotis Cornu, sliced, 1 liang), Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, honey-fried until slightly red and crushed, half liang).
Finely crush all the above ingredients, mix evenly. Take half liang per dose, decoct with one da of water until reduced to five parts, strain, and take warm at any time.
For treating seasonal febrile diseases with烦热 (restless heat) like fire, delirious speech, and a tendency to run about wildly.
Ingredients: Renshen (Ginseng Radix, 1 liang, remove radicule), Gansui (Kansui Radix, 1 liang, baked until slightly yellow).
Pound the above ingredients finely and sieve into a powder. Take 1 qian per dose, mixed with newly drawn cold water. After a short while, instruct the patient to drink more cold water; vomiting indicates efficacy.
For treating seasonal febrile diseases characterized solely by delirious speech, irritability, and restlessness, Zhuling San Formula is indicated.
Ingredients: Zhuling (Polyporus, 3 fen, remove black skin), Baixianpi (Dictamni Cortex, 3 fen), Zexie (Alismatis Rhizoma, 3 fen), Chi Fuling (Polyporus with Red Mycelium, 3 fen), Daqing (Isatidis Folium, 3 fen), Maimendong (Ophiopogonis Radix, 1 liang, remove heart and bake), Chuandahuang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma, 3 fen), Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, honey-fried until slightly red and crushed, half liang).
Pound the above ingredients finely and sieve into a powder. Take 3 qian per dose, mixed with newly drawn cold water, at any time.
For treating seasonal febrile diseases where heat-toxin resides in the zang organs, presenting with delirious speech, dry mouth, and irritability, Xijiao Wan Formula is indicated.
Ingredients: Xijiaoxie (Rhinocerotis Cornu, sliced), Zhiziren (Gardeniae Semen, remove husk), Chuandahuang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma, crushed and lightly fried), Tiefen (Ferrum), Mayaxiao (Natrii Sulfas crystallized, 1 liang each for the above), Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, honey-fried until slightly red and crushed, 3 fen).
Pound and sieve the above ingredients into powder, blend with refined honey to make pills the size of paulownia seeds. Take 30 pills per dose, with warm Zhu Ye Tang (Bamboo Leaf Decoction) at any time.
For treating seasonal febrile diseases with persistent high fever, delirious speech, and difficult defecation, Dahuang Wan Formula is used.
Ingredients: Chuandahuang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma, 2 liang, crushed and lightly fried), Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix), Xijiaoxie (Rhinocerotis Cornu, sliced), Zhuling (Polyporus, remove black skin), Zhike (Aurantii Fructus Pericarpium, bran-fried until slightly yellow and pulp removed), Chuanpu xiao (Natrii Sulfas, 1 liang each for the above).
Pound and sieve the above ingredients into powder, blend with refined honey and pound for three to two hundred strikes to make pills the size of paulownia seeds. Take 30 pills per dose, with Maimendong Tang (Ophiopogon Decoction) warmed, at any time.
