牙齿，是由骨髓滋养的器官。手阳明大肠经和足太阳膀胱经的经脉，都进入牙齿中。如果风冷邪气侵袭，导致这些经脉虚弱，就会造成骨髓和血液受损。
治疗牙齿松动、牙龈萎缩（牙齿历）：齿根颜色黯黑。独活丸方。

以上药物，捣碎并过筛成粉末，用熔化的蜡调和，制成如豇豆大小的药丸。用棉布包裹，经常含服一丸，吞咽津液。

皂荚（一根，去皮，炙烤至赤色）、川升麻、白矾（烧成灰）、甘松香、细辛（洗净，去苗土，各一分）、槐白皮。
以上药物，捣碎并过筛成散剂。刷牙后，取半钱药粉均匀涂抹在患处，以痊愈为度。
治疗牙齿松动、牙龈萎缩：谷精草散方。
谷精草（一两，烧成灰）、马齿苋（半两，干燥者）、甜瓜蔓苗（半两）、川升麻（半两）、白矾（一分，烧成灰）。
以上药物，捣碎并细细过筛成散剂，再放入钵中，细细研磨使其均匀。每次取半钱，敷于患处。若有唾液分泌，则吐掉。每日使用三次。
治疗牙齿松动、牙龈萎缩且牙齿色黑：宜用黄丹散方。
黄丹（半两）、白矾（一两）、川升麻（一分，研末）、细辛（一分，研末）、麝香（一钱，细细研开）。
以上药物，先将白矾和黄丹研磨细腻，放入生铁铫子中，炒至呈现火色。取出后，放在地上，垫一层纸，用物体压住冷却。

Teeth are nourished by bone marrow. The meridians of the Hand-Yangming Large Intestine and Foot-Taiyang Bladder both enter the teeth. If wind-cold pathogens invade, causing deficiency in these meridians, it results in damage to bone marrow and blood.
Treatment for loose teeth and receding gums (Ya Chi Li): Darkened tooth roots. Duhuo Wan (Angelica Pubescens Pill) formula.
Duhuo (Radix Angelicae Pubescentis), Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix, removed rhizome head), Xiong (Rhizoma Chuanxiong), Xixin (Herba Asari), Danggui (Radix Angelicae Sinensis), Chenxiang (Lignum Aquilariae Resinatum), Sheng Gan Dihuang (Radix Rehmanniae Preparata, each 1 liang), Jiti Xiang (Caryophylli Flos), Lingling Xiang (Lingzhi Xiang).
The above herbs are crushed, sifted into powder, mixed with melted beeswax, and formed into pills the size of a cowpea. Wrap in cotton, hold one pill in the mouth frequently, and swallow saliva.
Treatment for loose teeth, receding gums, and darkened tooth roots: Zaojiao San (Gleditsia Sinensis Powder) formula.
Zaojiao (Fructus Gleditsiae Sinensis, one pod, peeled and roasted until red), Chuanshengma (Radix Cimicifugae), Baifan (Alumen, calcined to ash), Gansongxiang (Nardostachys Radix et Rhizoma), Xixin (Herba Asari, washed and free of seedlings and soil, each 1 fen), Huaibai (Cortex Sophorae Flavescentis).
The above herbs are crushed and sifted into powder. After brushing teeth, apply half a qian of the powder evenly to the affected area. Continue until healed.

Gujingcao (Flos Euphrasiae, 1 liang, calcined to ash), Machixian (Herba Portulacae, 0.5 liang, dried), Tiangua Manmiao (Tendril of Cucumis Melo var. Makuwa, 0.5 liang), Chuanshengma (Radix Cimicifugae, 0.5 liang), Baifan (Alumen, 1 fen, calcined to ash).
The above herbs are finely crushed, sifted, and further ground in a mortar until uniform. Apply half a qian to the affected area each time. Spit out any saliva produced. Use three times daily.
For loose teeth, receding gums, and blackened teeth, use Huangdan San (Minium Powder) formula.
Huangdan (Minium), Baifan (Alumen, 1 liang), Chuanshengma (Radix Cimicifugae, 1 fen, powdered), Xixin (Herba Asari, 1 fen, powdered), Shexiang (Moschus, 1 qian, finely ground).
First, grind Baifan and Huangdan finely. Stir-fry them in an unglazed iron pot until they exhibit a fiery color. Remove and place on the ground, lining with a sheet of paper, and weigh down to cool.
Treatment for loose teeth and receding gums: Darkened tooth roots. Chuanshengma Kachi San (Cimicifuga Tooth-Rubbing Powder) formula.
Chuanshengma (Radix Cimicifugae, 0.5 liang), Baifuzi (Radix Aconiti Kusnezoffii, 1 fen, processed until cracked), Mituoseng (Lithargyrum), Lufengfang (Nidus Vespae), Huaizhihui (Ash of Sophora Branches, 0.5 liang).
Crush and sift the above herbs into powder. Mix with 1 he of Dihuang juice (Radix Rehmanniae Juice). Rub teeth with this mixture; it is highly effective.

Hutonglei (Terebinth Resin, 1 liang), Zhusha (Cinnabar, 0.5 liang), Shexiang (Moschus).
Grind the above herbs together into powder in a mortar. Rub teeth with it; within three to five applications, teeth will become bright and white.

Liuhuang (Sulfur, 1 fen), Baifan (Alumen, 1 fen).
Mix the above herbs and heat in a pot until yellow smoke ceases. Grind finely into powder. Every morning and night before bed, apply a small amount to rub teeth.

Burn rotten thorns, collect the exudate, and apply it. After ten applications, apply Realgar powder to the area; it will heal.
