The above herbs are pounded into powder, sifted, and kneaded with flour paste into pills the size of mung beans. On an empty stomach and before evening meal, take 10 pills with Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix) decoction, until cured.
For treating hemorrhoid pain, swelling, hardness, and non-resolution, use this fumigation formula:
Langdanzi (Daturae Semen), Jiuzi (Allii Tuberosi Semen), Xionghuang (Realgar), Wuzhuyu (Evodiae Fructus), Zhuya Zaojia (Gleditsiae Sinensis Fructus) (all raw), You Toufa (Burnt Human Hair, fried until scorched), Lv Ti (Donkey Hoof, roasted until yellow) (each 0.5 liang)
The above herbs are pounded into powder, sifted, and kneaded with yellow beeswax into pills the size of a marble. Place one pill in a small-mouthed bottle and burn it to fumigate the hemorrhoids. Use twice a day.
Another prescription:
Shechuangzi (Cnidii Fructus, 0.5 liang, powdered) Jingjie (Schizonepetae Herba, 0.5 liang, powdered) Woniu (Cochlea/Snail, 3-7 pieces)
The above herbs are mashed together, applied onto paper. At onset, first wash the hemorrhoid head with hot water containing Bai Fan (Alumen), then place the medicated paper on bedding and sit on it for 2-3 days until cured.
For treating hemorrhoids with pus and blood discharge, sores, and pain, use this formula:
Pishuang (Arsenic Trioxide, 0.5 liang, ground to powder) Huangla (Yellow Beeswax, 0.5 fen)
Melt the wax first in a pot, then add Pishuang (Arsenic Trioxide), mix evenly. Shape into strips according to the sore size. Insert into the sore at onset; effective.
For treating hemorrhoids with heads, swelling, pain, and pus/blood discharge, use this formula:
Shexiang (Musk, 1 qian, finely ground) Xiong Ge Fen (Male Pigeon Droppings, 1 liang, finely ground)
Mix with 2 liang of dark sugar syrup to form cakes. Apply directly to the sore; miraculous effect.
For treating hemorrhoids with continuous pus and blood discharge, Lufengfang San (Honeycomb Powder) formula:
Lufengfang (Vespa/Nest of Honeybee, 0.5 liang, roasted until yellow) Sangpi (Mori Cortex, 0.5 liang, roasted until scorched yellow) Shexiang (Musk, 1 qian)
The above herbs are finely ground and mixed evenly. Apply 0.5 qian externally 3-5 times daily.
For treating hemorrhoids with heads, pain, and pus/blood discharge, use this formula:
Langdanzi (Daturae Semen, 1 he, stir-fried until cooked)
Grind into powder, mix with gelatin from cow hide boiled in water to form a paste, spread on silk, and apply to the hemorrhoid site. Pain stops immediately. If there is a head, it will gradually shrink and fall off.
Another prescription:
Take 2 expelled roundworms, roast until dry, pound into powder, apply to the hemorrhoid head. It will stop pus and blood discharge. Apply 5-7 times until cured.

Put a small amount of Liuhuang (Sulfur) powder into the sore hole, fumigate with mugwort smoke until cured.
