上件药。捣熟以人乳和丸。如枣核大。绵裹纳耳中。每日一易。以瘥为度。

上件药。和捣。分作七丸。绵裹塞耳中。日换一丸。

上捣碎绞取汁。点耳中瘥。

龟（一枚净洗）
上用漆盘中养之。合却经宿。候有尿。即取滴入耳中。瘥。
又方。
鲫鱼胆（一枚） 乌点脂（一分） 生油（半两）
上件药。相和令匀。纳蒌葱管中。一七日后倾出。每用少许。滴于耳中瘥。
又方。
上以鹅膏一合。旋用少许滴耳中瘥。
又方。
牡荆子（一升捣碎）
上件药。以酒五升。浸七日。去滓。任性服尽。三十年聋者皆瘥。
又方。
上以竹筒盛鲤鱼脑。蒸之令烊。冷即用滴耳中。
肾脏是足少阴经所属的脏器，它贮藏精气，其气机通于耳。耳为宗脉（多条经脉汇聚之处）所聚集的地方。如果精气调和，则肾脏强盛，耳朵能听到五音。若精气亏损或失调，就会导致耳聋。手太阳经气厥逆导致的耳聋，其症状表现为耳聋且耳内感觉胀满。
治疗耳聋的烧肾散方：
磁石（一两，用醋淬炼七次后细研，水飞处理）、附子（一两，炮裂，去皮和脐）、巴戟天（一两）、川椒（一两，去掉目及闭口者）。
以上药材，捣碎过罗成为散剂。每次服用时取猪肾一只，去除筋膜，切成细丝；葱白、薤白各一分，切成细丝；加入药散一钱匕，与猪肾一起煮熟食用。
治疗耳聋伴有疼痛，适宜服用此方：
干百合（二合）。
以上药材，捣碎过罗成为散剂。每次在饭后，用温水调服一钱匕。
又一方：
鸡屎白（二合，净选后熬至黄色）、黑豆（半升，炒至黄熟）。
以上药材，用无灰酒三大盏浸泡在药中，放置片刻，滤去药渣，分三次温服。如人行走二三里的时间，服完一次剂量。
治疗耳聋的灌耳方：
鹅毛翎根筒（七茎）、灯心草（七茎）、木通（一两）、地龙（二至三条）。
以上药材混合，烧成灰烬，细研。每次取半钱，用生油调和，滴入耳中，随即用棉球塞住耳朵，侧头卧躺。
治疗耳聋立效的塞耳丸方：
松脂（半两）、杏仁（一分，去皮尖）、巴豆（半分，去皮膜）、椒目末（半两）、葱汁（半合）。
以上药材，共同捣烂如膏状，捻成枣核大小，用棉布包裹塞入耳中。
又一方：
桃仁（一分，汤浸去皮）、松脂（一分）、椒目末（半分）、巴豆（七枚，去皮心）。
以上药材，捣烂如膏状，捻成枣核大小，用棉布包裹一丸塞入耳中，每三日更换一次。
又一方：
松脂（三分）、巴豆（一分，去皮心）、大麻子仁（三分）、薰陆香（乳香，三分）、食盐（三分）。
以上药材，混合捣烂如膏状，制成枣核大小的丸剂，纳入耳中，每日更换一次。
又一方：
杏仁（一分，汤浸去皮尖双仁，炒熟）、甜葶苈（一分，隔纸炒至紫色）、盐末（一分）。
以上药材，捣研细腻，用少许猪脂合煎，制成枣核大小的丸剂，用棉布包裹塞入耳中。
又一方：
鲤鱼脑（四两）、防风（一分，去芦头）、菖蒲（一分）、细辛（一分）、附子（一分，去皮脐，生用）、川芎（一分）。
以上药材，捣碎过罗成为散剂，用鱼脑煎成膏状，制成枣核大小的丸剂，用棉布包裹纳入耳中，每日更换一次。
又一方：
附子（一分，炮裂去皮脐）、甜瓜子（一分）、杏仁（一分，汤浸去皮尖双仁）。
以上药材，混合捣熟，用棉布包裹如枣核大小，塞入耳中，每日更换一次。
又一方：
生地黄（一两半）、杏仁（七枚，汤浸去皮尖令黑）、巴豆（二枚，去皮心炒至紫色）、印成盐（一两）。
以上药材，熟捣，用炼蜡调和制成丸剂，如枣核大小，用针穿透，纳入耳中，每日更换二至三次。
又一方：
雄黄（一分）、硫黄（一分）。
以上药材，共同研磨，用棉布包裹纳入耳中，以病愈为度。
又一方：
蜗牛子（一分）、石胆（一分）、钟乳（一分）。
以上药材，共同细研，用瓷瓶盛装，用炭火烧至通红，冷却后取出，加入少许龙脑（冰片），每次用药引（油）引导药力进入耳中。
又一方：
乌驴乳（一合）、皂荚（半挺，研为末）、蜡（一两）。
以上药材，混合，在铫子内熔化成膏，可以丸化时即制成丸剂，如枣核大小，用针穿透，放入耳中一夜，次日查看。
又一方：
巴豆（五枚，去皮）、蜡（少许）。
以上药材，用蜡包裹巴豆，穿透两头，放入耳中，一日一换，痊愈为止。
治疗耳聋及通耳窍，适宜使用此方：
人中白（一分）、地龙（一条，干者）。
以上药材，捣罗为末，取小驴尿一合，调和，用瓷盒盛装，滴少许在耳中，立即痊愈。
治疗耳聋无不有效的方子：
地龙（三条）、盐（少许）。
以上两味药，贮存在葱叶中，自然化为水，用来点耳中，三至五日即痊愈。
又一方：
韭子（一分，微炒）、头发（一分，烧灰）、巴豆（半分，去心皮）。
以上药材，共同研细，用棉布包裹塞入耳中，三日更换一次。
又一方：
蓖麻子（五十枚，去皮）、大枣（五枚，去皮核）。
以上药材，捣熟，用人乳调和制成丸剂，如枣核大小，用棉布包裹纳入耳中，每日一换，以痊愈为度。
又一方：
菖蒲（一寸）、巴豆（一枚，去皮心）。
以上药材，混合捣烂，分成七丸，用棉布包裹塞入耳中，每日更换一丸。
又一方：
龟（一枚，净洗）。
以上将龟养在漆盘中，盖好经过一夜，待其有尿液，即取滴入耳中，痊愈。
又一方：
鲫鱼胆（一枚）、乌点脂（一分）、生油（半两）。
以上药材，混合均匀，纳入葱管中，七日之后倒出，每次取少许，滴于耳中，痊愈。
The Kidney is the meridian of Foot-Shaoyin. It stores essence, and its qi connects to the ear. The ear is the gathering place of the Zong Mai (major meridians). If essence is harmonious, the Kidney becomes strong, and the ear can hear the five tones. [If essence is depleted or disharmonious], it leads to deafness. Deafness caused by the reversal of Hand-Taiyang Qi presents with symptoms of deafness and a sensation of fullness in the ear.
Formula for Burning Kidney Powder to Treat Deafness:
Cis Chrysolithum (Magnetic Ore, 1 liang, quenched in vinegar seven times, finely ground, water-flowered), Fuzi (Prepared Aconite Root, 1 liang, processed until cracked, skin and umbilicus removed), Morinda Officinalis Root (Bajitian, 1 liang), Sichuan Pepper (Chuanjiao, 1 liang, remove pits and closed ones).
Crush the above herbs and sieve them into a powder. For each dose, take one pig kidney, remove the fascia, cut into fine shreds; add Scallion White (Congbai) and Allium Macrostemon Bulb (Xiebai), each 1 fen, cut into fine shreds; add 1 qianbi of the powder, and cook together with the pig kidney for consumption.
For treating deafness accompanied by pain, this formula is suitable:
Dried Lily Bulb (Gan Baihe, 2 he).
Crush and sieve the above herb into a powder. After meals, mix 1 qianbi with warm water and take orally.
Another prescription:
White of Chicken Droppings (Jishibai, 2 he, cleaned and fried until yellow), Black Soybean (Heidou, 0.5 sheng, fried until yellow and cooked).
Soak the above herbs in three large cups of unadulterated wine. Let stand for a while, filter out the dregs, and divide into three warm doses. Take one dose within the time it takes to walk two or three li.
Ear Irrigation Formula for Treating Deafness:
Quill Base of Goose Feather (Emao Linggentong, 7 stems), Juncus Effusus Stem (Dengxin, 7 stems), Akebia Caulis (Mutong, 1 liang), Earthworm (Dilong, 2-3 strips).
Mix the above herbs and burn to ash, then grind finely. Use half a qian each time, mix with raw sesame oil, drip into the ear, immediately plug with cotton, and lie on your side.
Ear Plug Pill for Immediate Effect in Treating Deafness:
Pine Resin (Songzhi, 0.5 liang), Apricot Seed (Xingren, 1 fen, skin and tip removed), Croton Seed (Badou, 0.5 fen, skin and membrane removed), Powdered Pepper Eye (Jiaomu Mo, 0.5 liang), Scallion Juice (Congzhi, 0.5 he).
Grind all ingredients thoroughly into a paste, shape into pills the size of a jujube pit, wrap in cotton, and insert into the ear.

Peach Kernel (Taoren, 1 fen, soaked in hot water, skin removed), Pine Resin (Songzhi, 1 fen), Powdered Pepper Eye (Jiaomu Mo, 0.5 fen), Croton Seed (Badou, 7 seeds, skin and heart removed).
Grind into a paste, shape into pills the size of a jujube pit, wrap in cotton, insert one pill into the ear, change every three days.
Another prescription:
Pine Resin (Songzhi, 3 fen), Croton Seed (Badou, 1 fen, skin and heart removed), Hemp Seed (Dama Ziren, 3 fen), Olibanum (Frankincense, Xunluxiang, 3 fen), Salt (Yanshi, 3 fen).
Mix and grind into a paste, form into pills the size of a jujube pit, insert into the ear, change once daily.
Another prescription:
Apricot Seed (Xingren, 1 fen, soaked in hot water, skin and tip removed, double-kernel, roasted), Sweet Descurainia Seed (Tiantingli, 1 fen, stir-fried over paper until purple), Salt Powder (Yanmo, 1 fen).
Grind finely, decoct with a small amount of lard, form into pills the size of a jujube pit, wrap in cotton, and insert into the ear.
Another prescription:
Carps Brain (Liyu Nao, 4 liang), Saposhnikovia Root (Fangfeng, 1 fen, radix removed), Acorus Tatarinowii Rhizome (Changpu, 1 fen), Asarum Root (Xixin, 1 fen), Prepared Aconite Root (Fuzi, 1 fen, skin and umbilicus removed, used raw), Ligusticum Chuanxiong Rhizome (Chuanxiong, 1 fen).
Grind into a fine powder, decoct carp brain into a paste, form into pills the size of a jujube pit, wrap in cotton, insert into the ear, change once daily.
Another prescription:
Prepared Aconite Root (Fuzi, 1 fen, processed until cracked, skin and umbilicus removed), Sweet Melon Seed (Tian Guazi, 1 fen), Apricot Seed (Xingren, 1 fen, soaked in hot water, skin and tip removed, double-kernel).
Mix and pound until cooked, wrap in cotton like a jujube pit, insert into the ear, change once daily.
Another prescription:
Rehmannia Root (Sheng Dihuang, 1.5 liang), Apricot Seed (Xingren, 7 seeds, soaked in hot water, skin and tip removed until black), Croton Seed (Badou, 2 seeds, skin and heart removed, fried until purple), Indian Rock Salt (Yincheng Yan, 1 liang).
Pound thoroughly, mix with refined beeswax, form into pills the size of a jujube pit, pierce with a needle, insert into the ear, change two to three times daily.
Another prescription:
Realgar (Xionghuang, 1 fen), Sulfur (Liuhuang, 1 fen).
Grind together, wrap in cotton, insert into the ear, continue until cured.
Another prescription:
Snail Shell/Body (Woniuzi, 1 fen), Chalcanthite (Shidan, 1 fen), Stalactite (Zhongru, 1 fen).
Grind finely together, store in a porcelain bottle, heat over charcoal until red-hot, cool and remove, add a little borneol (Longnao). Use oil as a guide to apply the medicine.

Donkey Milk (Wulv Ru, 1 he), Gleditsia Sinensis Fruit (Zaojia, half a stick, powdered), Beeswax (La, 1 liang).

Formula for Treating Deafness and Unblocking the Ear Orifice:
Human Urine Deposit (Renzhongbai, 1 fen), Earthworm (Dilong, 1 strip, dried).
Grind into powder, mix with one he of young donkey urine, store in a porcelain box, drip a few drops into the ear, immediate cure.
Universal Efficacy Formula for Treating Deafness:
Earthworm (Dilong, 3 strips), Salt (Yan, a little).
