何首乌（三斤，切碎如棋子大小） 牛膝（一斤，去除苗头，切碎约一斗量）
以上药物。用黑豆一斗，洗净晾干。用一个蒸笼。先在蒸底薄铺一层豆。然后薄铺何首乌。
再铺豆。
如此层层铺放。每日蒸煮。
治疗腰膝寒冷，温暖下元。安息香丸方。
安息香（五两，黄色透明的细锉，入蜜十两煎成膏） 补骨脂（三两，微炒） 牛膝（二两，去苗） 鹿茸（二两，酥炙）
以上药物。捣碎过筛成粉末。用安息香膏调和制成药丸。如梧桐子大小。每天空腹时。用温酒送服三十丸。
治疗肾脏虚寒。脐腹部多痛。腰脚沉重。身体消瘦。面色萎黄。食欲少且无力。安息香丸方。
安息香（三两，细锉，用无灰酒一升浸泡一夜，盛在瓷碗中，隔水炖煮成膏） 沉香（一两） 肉苁蓉（一两，炙至微黄） 桂心（一两） 牛膝（二两，去苗）
以上药物。捣碎过筛成粉末。加入安息香膏。再加入少许炼好的蜂蜜。一同调和捣击三五百下。制成如梧桐子大小的药丸。每天空腹时。用温酒送服三十丸。
Treats the Spleen and Kidney organs. Chronic accumulation of deficiency-cold. Qi attacking the heart and abdomen. Retained food not digesting. Weakness in the four limbs. Formula for Bichengqie Pills (Piperis Fructus Rotundae Pill).
Bichengqie (Fructus Piperis Rotundi), Baidoukou (Cardamomi Fructus Rotundus, shelled), Fuzi (Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata, processed until cracked, skin and umbilicus removed), Chenxiang (Lignum Aquilariae Resinatum), Suosha (Fructus Amomi Rotundus, shelled), Danggui (Radix Angelicae Sinensis, sliced and lightly stir-fried), Helilepi (Pericarpium Terminaliae Chebulae), Shengjiang (Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens).
The above herbs are crushed, sifted into powder. Mixed with refined honey and pounded three to two hundred times. Formed into pills the size of Sophora seeds. Taken daily on an empty stomach. Administered with thirty pills washed down with warm wine.
Treats seventy-two types of wind-cold pathogens. As well as pain in the waist and feet. Tonifies the Lower Yuan (Kidney and Mingmen). Darkens the hair at the temples. Preserves facial appearance. Divine and effective Formula for Heshouwu Pills (Polygoni Multiflori Preparati Pill).
Heshouwu (Radix Polygoni Multiflori Preparata, half a jin), Shudihuang (Radix Rehmanniae Preparata, five liang), Fuzi (Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata, two liang, processed until cracked, skin and umbilicus removed), Niuxi (Radix Achyranthis Bidentatae, three liang, radix tips removed), Guixin (Cortex Cinnamomi, three liang), Shuyu (Radix Dioscoreae Oppositae, two liang), Lurong (Cornu Cervi Pantotrichum, two liang, soaked in wine for three days, dried, and separately pounded).
The above herbs are crushed, sifted into powder. Mixed with refined honey and pounded three to five hundred times. Formed into pills the size of Sophora seeds. Taken daily on an empty stomach. Administered with forty pills washed down with salt water.
Warms the Zang-Fu organs. Dispels wind-cold qi. Benefits the waist and feet. Strengthens sinews and bones. Blackens beard and hair. Preserves facial appearance. Formula for Heshouwu Pills (Polygoni Multiflori Preparati Pill).
Heshouwu (Radix Polygoni Multiflori Preparata, three jin, sliced like chess pieces), Niuxi (Radix Achyranthis Bidentatae, one jin, radix tips removed, sliced to approximately one dou volume).
The above herbs: Use one dou of black beans. Thoroughly wash and dry them. Use one steamer basket. First, spread a thin layer of beans at the bottom of the steamer. Then, spread a thin layer of Heshouwu.
Repeat layering beans and Heshouwu.
Steam once daily.

The above herbs are crushed, sifted into powder. Mixed with Anshixiang paste to form pills. The size of Sophora seeds. Taken daily on an empty stomach. Administered with thirty pills washed down with warm wine.
Treats Kidney deficiency-cold. Frequent pain in the umbilical and abdominal region. Heaviness in the waist and feet. Emaciation of the body. Withered and yellow complexion. Poor appetite and weakness. Formula for Anshixiang Pills (Styrax Pill).
Anshixiang (Styrax, three liang, finely sliced, soaked in one sheng of pure wine overnight, placed in a porcelain bowl, boiled in a double boiler until it becomes a paste), Chenxiang (Lignum Aquilariae Resinatum, one liang), Rongcongrou (Herba Cistanches, one liang, stir-fried until slightly yellow), Guixin (Cortex Cinnamomi, one liang), Niuxi (Radix Achyranthis Bidentatae, two liang, radix tips removed).
The above herbs are crushed, sifted into powder. Mixed with Anshixiang paste. Add a small amount of refined honey. Knead and pound together three to five hundred times. Formed into pills the size of Sophora seeds.
Taken daily on an empty stomach. Administered with thirty pills washed down with warm wine.
