百方不效者
陈石榴皮焙末，每服二钱，米汤下。
又方 鸡冠花煎黄酒服（红用红花，白用白花）。
又方 蚕豆花（阴干），每服二钱，沙糖一钱煎汤下。或香油煎咸鱼，食数次。（奇验仙
方也）
鸡蛋一个（打破），黄蜡一块（如指头大）熔化，拌蛋炒熟，空心服之。
五谷虫七个，焙末，米汤灌下（将死可救）。或石膏炒黄，蜜、姜汁各一匙，开水下
生铁二斤，水一斗，煎五升洗。
甘遂末，水调敷脐下一寸三分，并将甘草节煎汤饮之。或白凤仙花连根叶熬水，乘热洗
肾囊阳物及两胯内。或韭白煎浓汁，洗脐下一寸三分。或猪胆一个（留汁），以阳物插入胆
中。如妇人，以胆汁滴入阴中。
又方 公鼠粪（两头尖的） 研末，酒调敷脐下一寸三分，或芹菜一把，捣融，用新白
布包，扭出汁，蒸热温服，忌铁器。或葱头煎汤饮。
又百药不效者 蝼蛄（即土狗），烧灰酒服。
临睡服核桃数个。

For cases where numerous formulas have proven ineffective:
Take aged pomegranate rind (Shiliupi), bake and grind into powder. Take 6 grams per dose, taken with rice water.
Another formula: Decoct cockscomb flower (Jiguanhua) in yellow wine and take it. (Use red flowers for red symptoms, white flowers for white symptoms.)
Another formula: Broad bean flower (Candouhua) (dried in shade), take 6 grams per dose, taken with a decoction made from 3 grams of granulated sugar. Alternatively, fry salted fish in sesame oil and eat several times. (This is an extraordinarily effective immortal formula.)
Take ten lotus leaf bases (Heyedi), decoct in water and take. Alternatively, decoct dried persimmons (Shibing) to make a soup and drink several times a day.
Take one egg (cracked) and a piece of yellow wax (the size of a fingertip), melt the wax, mix with the egg, fry until cooked, and take on an empty stomach.
Take seven grain maggots (Wuguchong), bake and grind into powder, administer with rice water (can save a dying patient). Alternatively, stir-fry gypsum (Shigao) until yellow, take one spoonful each of honey and ginger juice, and take with boiled water.
Take two catties of raw iron, one dou of water, decoct until five sheng remain, and use for washing.

Alternatively, take one pig gallbladder (retaining the bile) and insert the penis into the gallbladder. For women, drip the bile into the vagina.
Another formula: Grind male mouse droppings (with pointed ends) into powder, mix with wine to make a paste, and apply to a point 1.3 cun below the umbilicus. Alternatively, take a handful of celery (Qincai), pound until mashed, wrap in new white cloth, wring out the juice, steam until hot, and take warm. Avoid iron utensils. Alternatively, decoct onion head (Congtou) to make a soup and drink.
Another for cases where all medicines are ineffective: Mole cricket (Lougu, i.e., earth dog), burn to ashes and take with wine.
Apply seventeen layers of blue cloth below the umbilicus, and iron it with a large pot of boiling hot liquor (shaojiu).
Decoct pointed betel nut (Jianbinlang) to make a concentrated juice, mix with white honey (Baimi) and take. (This formula treats all five types of strangury.)

For hematuria (Niaoxue):
