用湿纸条贴在背脊上，最先变干的地方就是痨虫所在之处，用墨汁标记该位置，使用艾条多进行艾灸。事先准备好烧红的火盆，并用丝制兜罩住患者的口鼻，待虫子出来后投入火盆烧毁，以免飞入旁边人的口鼻中。
将乳香点燃熏烤患者手背（男性左手，女性右手），用绸帕覆盖手掌，过一段时间后，若有毛发从掌心长出，白色者容易治疗，红色者难治，黑色者无法治愈，没有毛发长出则不是虫症。
小儿胎发烧成灰，加入少许麝香，用酒送服。（男性用女性的头发，女性用男性的头发）
蜂蜜、姜汁各半钟，调匀后服用。
丝瓜烧至存性（保留药性），制成枣肉丸服用。
每天早晨空腹吃一碗薏苡仁粥。
鸡蛋煮至半熟，浸泡在尿缸内三天，然后煮熟食用。
白矾一两，水一碗，煎至半碗，加入少许蜂蜜，再煎片刻，温服。不久后会呕吐，如果不吐，再喝一杯热开水，就会吐出并感到安宁。或者灌下一盏清油，吐出痰液后即可痊愈。
此法系异人传授。
郁金七两，明矾三两，研为细末，用糊剂制成丸药，开水送服三钱。
羊蹄根一钱（捣碎），桐油渣五分，混合均匀，冷水送下，吐出痰液即可痊愈。
又名鬼风疙疸。
黄瓜蘸硼砂末擦拭，出汗后痊愈。或者用醋磨知母擦拭。（统治白癜风）
又生姜擦。
老姜、凤仙叶、香油、川椒末，共同捣烂后擦拭疼痛处。或者单用凤仙叶煎汤清洗，或者白芥子加葱捣烂，蜜水调成膏状，摊在布上贴敷。
[Moxibustion Method for Consumptive Parasites]
Apply a wet paper strip to the patient's spine. The area that dries first indicates the location of the consumptive parasites. Mark this spot with ink and apply moxibustion multiple times with moxa cones. Prepare a brazier with burning charcoal in advance and cover the patient's mouth and nose with a silk hood. When the parasites emerge, place them into the brazier to be burned, preventing them from flying into the mouths and noses of others.
[Frankincense Fumigation Method for Parasite Detection]
Fumigate the back of the patient's hand (left hand for males, right hand for females) with the smoke of Ruxiang (Frankincense, Boswellia spp.). Cover the palm with a silk handkerchief. After a while, hairs may emerge from the palm. White hairs indicate an easily treatable condition, red hairs indicate a difficult-to-treat condition, and black hairs indicate an incurable condition. If no hairs emerge, it is not a parasitic disease.
[Fritillariae Bulbus and Crystal Sugar Formula]
Take Fritillariae Bulbus (Beimu, 贝母) and crystal sugar, two liang (approx. 75g) each. Every morning, mix with boiling water and egg white, and take three qian (approx. 11g).
[Infant Hair Formula]
Burn infant's first haircut hair into ashes, add a small amount of Shexiang (Musk, Moschus). Take with wine. (Use female hair for male patients, and male hair for female patients).
[Honey and Ginger Juice Formula]
Take honey and ginger juice, half a small cup each. Mix and take.
[Luffa Formula]
Prepare Luffae Fructus (Sigua, 丝瓜) by charring it while preserving its properties (shao cun xing). Form into pills with Zao Rou (Jujubae Fructus pulp) and take.
[Coicis Semen Congee Formula]
Eat one bowl of Coicis Semen (Yiyiren, 薏苡仁) conee every morning on an empty stomach.
[Realgar, Sulfur, and Lithargyrum Formula]
Take Realgar (Xionghuang, 雄黄), Sulfur (Liuhuang, 硫黄), and Lithargyrum (Mituoseng, 密陀僧) in equal parts. Grind into fine powder, mix with aged vinegar, and apply externally.
[Egg Soaked in Urine Formula]
Boil an egg until half-cooked, soak it in a urine jar for three days, then boil and eat it.
[Alumen and Honey Decoction for Inducing Vomiting]
Take one liang (approx. 37.5g) of Alumen (Baifan, 白矾) and one bowl of water. Decoct until half a bowl remains. Add a small amount of honey and decoct a little longer. Take warm. Vomiting should occur shortly. If vomiting does not occur, drink one cup of hot boiled water to induce vomiting and achieve relief. Alternatively, administer one cup of Qing You (clear oil) to induce vomiting of phlegm and recovery.
[Formula Transmitted by an Extraordinary Person]
Take seven liang (approx. 262.5g) of Curcumae Radix (Yujin, 郁金) and three liang (approx. 112.5g) of Alumen (Mingfan, 明矾). Grind into powder, form into pills using rice paste, and take three qian (approx. 11g) with boiled water.
[Rumicis Radix and Tung Oil Residue Formula]
Take one qian (approx. 3.75g) of Rumicis Radix (Yangtigen, 羊蹄根) (pounded) and five fen (approx. 1.875g) of tung oil residue. Mix evenly and take with cold water. Vomiting of phlegm leads to recovery.
[Xanthii Herba Paste Formula]
Prepare a paste by decocting Xanthii Herba (Cang'er Cao, 苍耳草). Take it from time to time mixed with wine.
[Cnidii Fructus and Prunellae Spica Wash Formula]
Decoct Cnidii Fructus (Shechuangzi, 蛇床子) and Prunellae Spica (Xiakucao, 夏枯草) to make a wash. Wash the affected area several times.
[Lemna Minor Wash Formula]
Decoct Lemna Minor (Zibei Fuping, 紫背浮萍) to make a wash. Wash the affected area frequently. Alternatively, decoct a salt-soaked cattail bag for washing.
[Also Known as 'Ghost Wind Pimples' Formula]
Rub the affected area with an old silk gourd loofah (Jiu Guaqian) to cure. For severe cases, rub after slightly dipping in sesame oil.
[Cucumber and Borax Formula]
Rub the affected area with a cucumber dipped in Borax (Pengsha, 硼砂) powder. Recovery occurs after sweating. Alternatively, rub with vinegar-ground Anemarrhenae Rhizoma (Zhimu, 知母). (This formula also treats vitiligo.)
Another formula: Rub with fresh ginger.
[Old Ginger and Impatient Balsam Leaf Formula]
Pound together old ginger, Impatient Balsam leaf (Fengxian Ye, 凤仙叶), sesame oil, and Zanthoxyli Pericarpium (Chuanjiao, 川椒) powder. Apply the mixture to the painful area. Alternatively, wash with a decoction of Impatient Balsam leaf alone. Or, pound Sinapis Semen (Baijiezi, 白芥子) with scallion, mix with honey water to form a paste, spread on cloth, and apply to the affected area.
