白芥子末，酒调敷足心（男左女右）。如指头大一块，敷一二时，吐止即去之，久则恐
生泡也。
如被生母触犯，用黄土焙干，小袋盛，系裤当中，并多用干土置床下。他人触犯，则多
取红月季花悄铺席下。
鸡蛋一个，先以筛细黄土分二处，将蛋打破，以蛋白蛋黄各和其上，不得错乱，即将黄
仍做如黄，将白摊饼包黄仍如鸡蛋形，入灶火内烧，候烟出尽为度，不可烧焦。将土蛋研成
细末，痘痈初起，另以蛋白或醋和敷即消，成者即溃，溃者干掺，即收口。倘痘烂成坑，干
掺甚效。（名混沌如金散）
荸荠不拘多少，捣汁和酒窝调均炖温，服之（不可炖之太热）。
出痘心烦气喘，妄语见鬼
不落水猪心内血（取出），和冰片三分，为丸如芡实大，每服一钱，以紫草炖黄酒调服，
少刻下瘀血，神气清爽，痘即红活透出矣。此方专治黑靥
昏睡不醒
鸡子壳初出去膜，新瓦焙研，每服五分，热开水调服。如婴儿，以黄酒调，抹唇舌上并
胸背。
茶叶（去梗）净一二斤，滚水锅内一过，即捞起，带湿铺床上，隔草纸一层，令小儿卧
于上，如天寒，仍盖衣被，一宿即瘥。（并治痘后遍身无皮）
白芥子粉末，用酒调和后敷于足心（男性左足，女性右足）。取如指头大小的一块，敷上一两个时辰，呕吐停止后立即去除，敷的时间过长恐怕会产生水泡。
如果是被产妇触犯（痘疹禁忌），用黄土焙干，装入小袋中，系在裤子中间，并在床下多放些干土。如果是被他人触犯，则多取红月季花瓣铺在席子下面。
鸡蛋一个，先用筛细的黄土分成两份，将蛋打破，把蛋白和蛋黄分别放在这两份黄土上，不能弄混，然后将蛋黄重新做成圆形，用蛋白摊成的饼包裹住蛋黄，使其恢复成鸡蛋的形状，放入灶火中烧，等到烟出尽为止，不可烧焦。将这种“土蛋”研成细末，在痘痈初起时，另用蛋白或醋调和敷贴即可消散；已经成脓的就会溃破；已经溃破的撒上药粉，就能收口。如果痘疮溃烂成坑，干撒药粉非常有效。（此方名为“混沌如金散”）
荸荠不限数量，捣汁与酒糟调和均匀，炖温后服用（不可炖得太热）。
出痘时心烦气喘，胡言乱语，看见鬼怪：
取未产仔母猪心脏内的血（取出），与冰片三分混合，制成如芡实大小的丸药，每次服用一钱，用紫草炖黄酒调服，片刻之后排出瘀血，神气清爽，痘疮就会红润鲜活地透发出来。此方专门治疗黑靥（痘色紫黑凹陷）。
老丝瓜（靠近瓜蒂部分）三寸，连皮烧至存性（保留部分药效），研成粉末，用砂糖水调服。
昏睡不醒：
鸡蛋壳刚去掉内膜，在新瓦上焙干研碎，每次服用五分，用热开水调服。如果是婴儿，用黄酒调和，抹在嘴唇、舌头以及胸背部。
茶叶（去掉梗）净重一二斤，在滚水中过一下即捞起，带湿铺在床上，隔一层草纸，让小儿躺在上面，如果天气寒冷，仍盖上衣被，睡一夜即可痊愈。（并治疗痘后全身无皮的情况）
Baijiezi powder (Sinapis alba seed powder), mixed with wine and applied to the sole of the foot (left for males, right for females). Take a piece the size of a fingertip, apply for one or two shichen (2-4 hours); remove immediately once vomiting stops, as prolonged application may cause blisters.
Hot Fuzi (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata), pounded into a paste, mixed with saliva, and applied to the sole of the foot for one or two shichen.
If offended by a postpartum woman (a taboo in smallpox treatment), bake yellow earth until dry, place in a small bag, tie it to the middle of the trousers, and place more dry earth under the bed. If offended by others, take plenty of red rose petals and spread them under the mat.
One egg: first divide fine-sifted yellow earth into two portions. Break the egg, placing the egg white on one portion and the egg yolk on the other, ensuring they do not mix. Then reshape the yolk into a sphere, wrap it in a pancake made from the egg white, restoring the shape of an egg. Roast this in the stove fire until the smoke ceases, being careful not to burn it to a crisp. Grind this "earth egg" into a fine powder. For early-stage carbuncles or sores, mix with egg white or vinegar and apply topically to resolve; if suppuration has occurred, it will ulcerate; if already ulcerated, sprinkle the powder dry to promote healing. If the sore is deep and pitted, sprinkling the powder dry is very effective. (This formula is named Hundun Rujin San [Chaos-like-Gold Powder])
Spread willow leaves on the mat and sleep on it overnight; maggots will die completely, leading to recovery.
Frequently rub with sesame oil (pressed at a small mill). Alternatively, dust with aged pine pollen.
One egg, soaked in child's urine for seven days, boiled in water and eaten; this prevents smallpox entirely.
Freshwater caltrop (Eleocharis dulcis) in any quantity: crush to extract juice, mix evenly with wine lees, warm by stewing, and drink (do not overheat).
For restlessness, panting, delirium, and hallucinations during smallpox eruption:
Take blood from the heart of a sow that has not yet farrowed (extract the blood), mix with 3 fen of Bingpian (Borneolum Syntheticum), make pills the size of Euryale seed (Qianshi). Take 1 qian per dose, administered with Huangqi Zicao Decoction (prepared by stewing Radix Lithospermi in yellow wine). After a short while, stasis blood will be discharged, spirit and energy will clear, and the rash will emerge vibrant and reddish. This formula specifically treats Heiyie (black, depressed scabs).
Old loofah sponge (near the stem), 3 cun long, burned with skin intact until carbonized but retaining medicinal properties, ground into powder, taken with sugar water.
Baishao (Radix Paeoniae Alba) ground into powder, taken with yellow wine, 5 fen per dose.
Coma and inability to wake:
Eggshell, freshly cleaned of membrane, baked on new tile until dry, ground into powder. Take 5 fen per dose, mixed with hot boiled water. For infants, mix with yellow wine and smear on lips, tongue, chest, and back.
Tea leaves (stems removed), pure weight of 1-2 jin: pass through boiling water briefly, remove while damp, spread on the bed, place a layer of straw paper on top, and let the child lie upon it. If cold, cover with clothes and blankets; recovery occurs after one night. (Also treats total loss of skin after smallpox)
