上为细末，时时干舐咽之，更以沸汤调服，立效。
治口气热臭。
上用干甜瓜子，去壳研细，蜜少许调成膏，食后含化，或傅齿上尤妙。一方空心洗漱讫
，含化一丸，如枣核大。
治肺热口臭，口中如胶瓦，干发渴，小便多。
地骨皮 黄 桑白皮 山栀子 马兜铃（各等分）
上为细末，甘草膏和丸，如芡实大，每服一丸，食后噙化。
治多食肉口臭，不欲闻其秽恶。
升麻 青皮（各半两） 黄连 黄芩（酒洗，各二两） 生姜 檀香 甘草（生用，各
二钱）
上为细末，水浸蒸饼为丸，如弹子大，每服一二丸，不拘时细嚼白汤送下。
治疗口臭。

以上药物研成细末，用炼蜜调和制成丸药，大小如弹子，用棉布包裹一丸，含在口中化开咽下津液。
益智仁（去皮）、甘草（少许）。
以上药物研成细末，不时地用舌舔舐咽下，再用沸水调服，立即见效。
治疗口气热臭。
上述方剂使用干燥的甜瓜子，去掉壳研细，加少许蜂蜜调成膏状，饭后含化，或者涂在牙齿上尤其好。另一方法是在空腹洗漱完毕后，含化一丸，大小如枣核。
治疗肺热引起的口臭，口中感觉像胶瓦一样粘腻，口干想喝水，小便多。

治疗因多吃肉类导致的口臭，厌恶闻到那种腥臭味。

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, mix with refined honey to form pills the size of a chestnut seed. Take one pill per dose, hold in the mouth to dissolve and swallow the saliva.
Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma (Chuanxiong), Angelicae Dahuricae Radix (Baizhi), Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium (Chenpi), Cinnamomi Ramulus (Guixin, each 4 liang), Jujubae Fructus flesh (Zaorou, 8 liang).
Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, then add the jujube flesh. If too dry, add refined honey to form pills the size of a soybean. Take one pill in the morning, frequently hold or swallow before and after meals; within seven days, the breath will become very fragrant.
To treat foul-smelling halitosis.
Eugeniae Flos (Dingxiang, 3 qian), Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma (Chuanxiong, 2 qian), Angelicae Dahuricae Radix (Baizhi, 0.5 qian, both not exposed to fire), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao, 1 qian, honey-fried).
Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, mix with refined honey to form pills the size of a marble. Wrap one pill in cotton, hold in the mouth to dissolve and swallow the saliva.
Alpiniae Oxyphyllae Fructus (Yizhi, peeled), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao, a small amount).
Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, lick and swallow occasionally with the tongue, and also take mixed with boiling water for immediate effect.
To treat hot and foul-smelling halitosis.
Use dried seeds of *Cucumis melo* var. *makuwa* (Tianguazi), remove the shell and grind finely. Mix with a small amount of honey to form a paste. Hold in the mouth to dissolve after meals, or apply to the teeth, which is especially effective. Another method: after washing the mouth on an empty stomach, hold one pill the size of a date pit in the mouth to dissolve.
To treat halitosis caused by lung heat, characterized by a sticky sensation in the mouth like glue or tile, dryness with thirst, and polyuria.
Cortex Lycii Radicis (Digupi), Scutellariae Radix (Huangqin), Mori Cortex (Sangbaipi), Gardeniae Fructus (Shanzhizi), Aristolochiae Fructus (Madouling, each equal parts).
Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, mix with licorice paste to form pills the size of an Euryale seed. Take one pill per dose, hold in the mouth to dissolve after meals.
To treat halitosis caused by excessive meat consumption, where one dislikes the foul odor.
Cimicifugae Rhizoma (Shengma), Aurantii Fructus Viridis (Qingpi, each 0.5 liang), Coptidis Rhizoma (Huanglian), Scutellariae Radix (Huangqin, wine-washed, each 2 liang), Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens (Shengjiang), Santali Albi Lignum (Tanxiang), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao, raw, each 2 qian).
Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, make pills using steamed bread dough soaked in water, the size of a marble. Take one or two pills per dose at any time, chew thoroughly and swallow with plain boiled water.
