Take *Frankincense* (Ruxiang, 乳香) and *Myrrh* (Moyao, 没药), each in an amount equivalent to a soap pod, grind them into a paste. Mix with half a cup of urine and half a cup of good wine, and take the mixture orally together with the medicine. Then apply *Huairui Shi San* (Flower Porphyry Stone Powder) or powder of *Cuttlefish Bone* (Wuzheiyu Gu, 乌贼鱼骨) or *Dragon Bone* (Longgu, 龙骨) to the wound surface; bleeding will stop immediately.
Take white parts of green onion (*Congbai*, 葱白), stir-fry until cooked in a hot pan, and apply evenly over the injured area. Replace after a short while; pain will cease naturally. Green leaves may also be used as a substitute.
For treating wounds caused by knives or axes with unceasing bleeding, and for chronic malignant ulcers:
Take aged *Duan Shi* (Calcined Iron Ore), grind it finely, mix with egg white to form a ball, let it cool, then grind it finely again. For knife or axe wounds, sprinkle the powder on the affected area. For chronic malignant ulcers, mix with ginger juice and apply externally. Another method uses only *Duan Shi* sprinkled on the affected area and bandaged firmly, which also leads to recovery.
Take mulberry leaves (*Sangye*, 桑叶), dry them in the shade, and grind into powder for dry application. If unavailable, fresh leaves can be dried by ironing and then ground for application. Another method involves grinding fresh mulberry leaves to extract white juice for topical application, which promotes healing of metal wounds.
Apply *Pingwei San* (Peaceful Stomach Powder) mixed with ginger juice. In emergencies, simply crush fresh ginger with skin and apply to the affected area to relieve pain, stop bleeding, and prevent scarring.
Another prescription:
Take oil putty accumulated for many years in the seams of sea ships, grind it finely, and sprinkle it on the wound for best results.
For treating metal wounds where internal tissue rots and maggots develop:
Use sublimated *Zao Fan* (Chalcanthite/Vitriol), apply dry powder directly to the lesion; maggots will die immediately.
For injuries caused by blades damaging internal organs such as the large intestine, as well as injuries to both hypochondriac regions and abdomen causing rupture, with feces expelled from the mouth. It is also applicable to injuries from large arrows penetrating through, damaging the intestines and stomach. Furthermore, it treats postpartum injuries involving rupture of the small intestine and urinary bladder, resulting in uncontrollable urination. This prescription is miraculous. After taking one dose, the medicinal effect reaches the injury site, repairing the scars. Inspect the wound opening every other day; only old debris will be discharged, with no new foul matter appearing. Inside the wound, use *Zhangrou Sanzi* (Flesh-Growing Paste) formed into a wick to guide the medicine into the cavity. Wait for new flesh to grow outward, and the scar will heal naturally.
*Diyu* (Radix Sanguisorbae, 地榆) (8 liang, washed and ground into fine powder); Silk fabric (1 pi, thin quality).
Wash the silk clean. Boil the silk in two dou of clear filtrate from charcoal ash leaching until the liquid is exhausted. When the silk becomes thoroughly soft and can be torn into pieces 3 to 5 cun long, remove it, press out all ash liquid, and wash it 3-5 times in clear water to completely remove alkalinity. Return it to the pot, add two dou of water, and decoct with *Diyu* powder until thoroughly cooked and mushy. Check by hand rubbing that it no longer retains its fabric shape. Transfer to a mortar and grind into a paste-like consistency. Divide into two doses. Take each dose orally with white japonica rice porridge drink on an empty stomach. After ingestion, lie supine without moving, turning, or speaking. Avoid all toxic foods; consume only well-cooked yellow hen meat and soft white rice porridge. The remaining dose should be taken on the next morning on an empty stomach, also mixed with porridge drink. Maintain careful care for one month. For postpartum injuries, use the amount derived from one pi of silk, divided into four doses, each mixed with one zhong cup of porridge drink, administered once daily.
