Women's internal organs are prone to damage, making them susceptible to Wind pathogen invasion. When Heat qi is present internally, it causes bleeding; when Wind qi is present internally, it also causes blood in the stool, which may resemble bean curd residue, accompanied by abdominal pain. If bleeding occurs after defecation, the source is distant (lower jiao); if bleeding occurs before defecation, the source is proximal (upper jiao). "Distant" and "proximal" refer to the location of the pathology in the upper or lower body. If a woman presents with a pale complexion, alternating chills and fever, a floating and weak pulse that disappears upon heavy pressure, this indicates bleeding from below.
To treat women suffering from Wind deficiency causing frequent bleeding after defecation, Fangfeng Rushen San (Saposhnikovia Divine Protection Powder) is appropriate.
