一受孕之后，不可食之物，切宜忌食。非唯有感动胎气之戒，然于物理，亦有厌忌者。
设或不能戒忌，非特延月难产，亦能令儿破形母殒，可不戒哉！
食鸡肉、糯米（合食），令子生寸白虫。食羊肝，令子生多厄。食鲤鱼 及鸡子，令儿
成疳多疮。食犬肉，令子无声音。食兔肉，令子缺唇。（盖兔乃不雄而孕，生子则口中吐出，
是以忌焉。）鸭子与桑椹同食之，令人倒生心寒。食鳖，令子项短及损胎。雀肉合豆酱食之
，令子面生 黑子。食豆酱，合藿食之，堕胎。食冰浆绝产。食雀肉，令子不耻多淫。食
山羊肉，令子多病。食子姜，令子多指生疮。食螃蟹，令子横生。食虾蟆、鳝鱼，令儿喑哑。
食驴、骡、马肉，延月难产。如此之类，无不验者。则知圣人胎教之法，岂非虑有自其然乎！

牛膝藜芦并薏苡，金石锡粉及雌雄。

槐子牵牛并皂角，桃仁蛴螬和茅根。
根 砂与干漆，亭长波流 草中。
瞿麦 茹蟹爪甲， 皮赤箭赤头红。
马刀石蚕衣鱼等，半夏南星通草同。
干姜蒜鸡及鸡子，驴肉兔肉不须供。
切忌妇人产前忌，此歌宜记在心胸。
受孕之后，不可食用的食物，务必禁忌食用。这不仅因为有触动胎气的戒律，而且在事物本性上，也有令人厌恶忌讳的。
倘若不能遵守禁忌，不仅会导致月份延长、难产，还能导致胎儿畸形、母亲死亡，怎么可以不警惕呢！
吃鸡肉和糯米（一起食用），会使孩子出生后患寸白虫（绦虫病）。吃羊肝，会使孩子一生多灾多难。吃鲤鱼和鸡蛋，会使孩子患上疳积并多生疮疡。吃狗肉，会使孩子没有声音。吃兔肉，会使孩子唇裂。（因为兔子是不分性别而怀孕的，生子时是从口中吐出，所以忌讳。）鸭子和桑葚一起食用，会导致倒产和心中寒冷。吃鳖，会使孩子脖子短小及损伤胎气。雀肉与豆酱一起食用，会使孩子脸上长黑痣。吃豆酱，配合藿香食用，会导致堕胎。喝冰浆会导致绝育不孕。吃雀肉，会使孩子不知羞耻且淫乱。吃山羊肉，会使孩子多病。吃子姜，会使孩子手指多且生疮。吃螃蟹，会使孩子横位出生。吃蛤蟆和黄鳝，会使孩子失音哑巴。吃驴、骡、马肉，会延长月份导致难产。像这样的情形，没有不灵验的。由此可知圣人的胎教之法，难道不是考虑到这些必然性吗！

After conception, foods that should not be eaten must strictly be avoided. This is not only due to the warning against disturbing the fetal qi (vital energy), but also because, according to the nature of things, there are items that are naturally repulsive or taboo.
If one fails to observe these prohibitions, it will not only lead to prolonged pregnancy and difficult labor, but can also cause fetal deformity and maternal death. How can one fail to be vigilant!
Consuming chicken meat and glutinous rice together causes the child to be born with *cunbai* worms (tapeworm infection). Consuming sheep liver causes the child to face many hardships in life. Consuming carp and eggs causes the child to develop *gan* syndrome (malnutrition/parasitic disease) and multiple sores. Consuming dog meat causes the child to lose their voice. Consuming rabbit meat causes cleft lip in the child. (This is because rabbits are believed to conceive without male involvement, giving birth by expelling the young from the mouth, hence the taboo.) Eating duck meat together with mulberry fruits leads to breech presentation and coldness in the heart. Consuming soft-shelled turtle causes a short neck in the child and damages the fetus. Eating sparrow meat with bean paste causes black spots on the child's face. Consuming bean paste combined with Huoxiang (Agastache rugosa) induces abortion. Drinking ice slush leads to sterility. Eating sparrow meat causes the child to lack shame and become promiscuous. Consuming goat meat causes the child to be prone to illness. Consuming young ginger causes polydactyly and sores on the fingers. Consuming crab meat causes transverse lie at birth. Consuming toads and eels causes aphonia in the child. Consuming donkey, mule, or horse meat prolongs pregnancy and causes difficult labor. Such examples are all verified as effective. Thus, we know that the sage's methods of prenatal education were indeed considering such inevitable outcomes!

Strictly avoid the contraindications for women before childbirth; this song should be kept in mind.
