If the eyes are red and hot, and the skin has macules, it is caused by fetal toxin. Huoji Tang (Fire-Ji Decoction) is indicated. If the eyelids are corroded and ulcerated, the body is cool and harmonious, and the pulse is deep and fine, it is caused by residual toxin. Xionghuang Jiawei Wan is indicated. If eye disease heat and pain do not resolve, Tieluo Jiang (Iron Filings Slurry) is indicated for instillation.
