The conditions of "Fish Roe Opacity" (Yuzi Zhang) and "Pomegranate Opacity" (Shiliu Zhang) are disasters rarely seen by the world. Fish Roe Opacity arises as a single cluster, while Pomegranate Opacity comes from the four corners. Both are caused by accumulated toxins in the Spleen and Lung, and must be opened via scissor surgery (Lian Ge).
The meridian treatment methods for these two conditions are identical. In summary, they do not occur simultaneously. Fish Roe Opacity is not comparable to Cluster Star Opacity (Juxing Zhang), nor is it the affliction of Jade Grain Opacity (Yuli). Its appearance is a sheet-like mass, formed externally by the aggregation of numerous granules, appearing either pale red or pale white, resembling pomegranate seeds exposed within the fruit chamber. The pathology involves granules growing on the red flesh (margins of eyelids or canthi), numbering four, six, or eight, originating from the four corners, filling the eye with opacity, resulting in total loss of vision. Both aforementioned conditions belong to diseases of blood stasis and excess heat; they are malignant eye diseases requiring surgical intervention. Only if the patient can perceive "Three Lights" (San Guang: light perception) after surgery may treatment proceed. If the patient exhibits blackened eyes (Ming Hei, indicating pupil damage or blindness), the Shen of the pupil is necessarily damaged, and no further treatment is warranted. For those fearing scissor surgery, powders may be administered internally and applied topically.

According to the Yunqi (Six Qi and Five Movements) theory in the *Neijing* (Inner Canon), there are two types of eye ulcers/opacities (Mu Yang). The first is Heat. The classic states: "When Shao Yin governs the Heaven, during the third Qi, Great Fire prevails, and cold air arrives. The people suffer from red eyes and ulcers." Treatment should employ cold-natured agents. The second is Dryness. The classic states: "When Metal is excessive in the year, the people suffer from red eyes and ulcers." It also states: "When Yang Ming governs the Heaven, Dryness overcomes and prevails. The people suffer from eye opacities and ulcers." Treatment should employ warm-natured agents.
The *Neijing* states: "All pain, itching, sores, and ulcers belong to Heart Fire." When Fire is depressed and erupts internally, such diseases arise. Since the Heart governs Blood, Blood Heat generates Wind. Severe depression leads to sequential transmission. Thus, Fire generates Earth (Spleen/Stomach); Blood enters the Yangming Meridian (Stomach), which governs muscles. Wind-Heat and Blood Heat contend, manifesting on the skin. Their names vary. Some present with yellow pus and whiteness, representing Earth generating Metal (Mother returning to Child). Initially, slight itching and mild heat occur; severe swelling, pain, and ulceration indicate extreme heat. Blood coagulates transforming into fluid, Qi stagnation forms pus. Even worse, alternating chills and fever with reduced appetite occur, which is particularly concerning. It is appropriate to vent Wind-Toxins, cool the Heart Meridian, and resolve Stomach Heat. Regarding eye sores and warts, they are all caused by the Command of Sovereign Fire and pathogenic Dryness-Fire. Treatment should be either warming or cooling, applied according to symptoms.
