有因虚而别病兼发。或别病而因带惊痫。或有一方兼治之者。并采而具之。
蝉花散
治惊风切牙。并夜咳嗽。

上为细末，一岁上儿一字。至三四岁者半分。煎蝉壳（去土）汤调下。无时。
小镇心丸

治暗痫方
真熊胆（半两，研） 生天南星（末半两） 粉霜（一分） 朱砂（半两，研飞） 雄黄（半两，水磨）
脑子（半钱，研） 麝香（一钱，研）
上匀研细。用 猪胆汁和丸粟米大。每服五七丸至十五丸。金银薄荷汤下。无时。
神乌散
治暗风痫极妙。
〔歌曰〕腊月乌鸦一个全。半两朱砂口内填。麻缠乌嘴安瓶内。（用瓶藏盛）盐泥固济火中安。（窨干火 ）
黄昏上火天明住。（用木炭一称半）取出筛罗为末研。每服一钱麝酒下。（一日三服）服之十日定须痊。
又方 方名同。治同前。
浑黑老鸦（一个全者） 胡桃（七枚） 苍耳心子（七个）
上用一藏瓶。入逐药味在内。盐泥固济。木炭火 烟尽为度。取出研细。每服一钱。空心热酒调下。如患疝
气肾肿。阴囊偏坠。更入新生孩儿胎衣一副同烧。亦根据上法。葱椒热酒调下。看大小加减。
异圣散
治痫病日发数次。诸药不能瘥。
猪蹄甲（不拘多少净洗，去带毛处锉碎于锅内炒，令烟尽取出于地上浓铺纸薄摊其药以盆盖之，
候三日，出火毒毕为细末） 金星石 银星石 青礞石（各半斤，三石同入一合内，以马粪和泥固济晒干，
先用熟火渐渐烧之，次添炭火 令通赤，取出。仍先令掘一地坑，深一尺取药合在地坑内，用土盖埋二日，出火

上用猪蹄甲末二两。石末一两半。再研匀细。入生麻油半两。再研极匀。每服半钱。以浆
水研百遍调下。空心食前服。小者减之。
日应丹
治痫病连年不瘥。
黑锡 硫黄 水银 铁粉（各一两） 金箔 银箔（各三十片）
上先将锡于铁铫内熔化。次入水银。不住手搅令匀。次入硫黄诸药。同炒搅匀。离火再炒良久。都倾出。用
纸衬地上。顿一宿。出火毒讫。再研令匀细。以熟软粟米饭和丸绿豆大。每服五七粒。煎人参汤送下。无时。
接生如圣丸
治痫病暗风。年深不瘥。
赤石脂（二两） 硝石（半两） 白矾（枯过一分）
上为细末。糯米粥和丸绿豆大。每服十丸十五丸。温水送下。食后。日三服。如日一次发者。服半月即愈。
啄木散
治多年痫病。
腊月啄木鸟一个。用无灰酒三升。先以瓦罐子一个，底铺荆芥穗叶浓一寸。上顿啄木鸟。又用荆芥穗叶盖
一寸浓。倾酒在内。仍用纸封合。盐泥固济。炭 之。候酒干青烟出为度。去火放冷。只取。啄木鸟研为末。次入下项
药。
石膏（二两， 研） 铁粉（用浆水半升，煮尽研细末用，一两） 朱砂（一分，研，水飞） 附子（一两，正生
者炮裂去皮脐） 麝香（一分研） 脑子（一钱，研）
上同匀细末。每服一钱。先令病患呷温水二两口。以温酒一盏。先少许调药饮之。余酒送之。服毕便就枕睡
少时。临发时一服。候一两日更服一次。每两日一服。不过十服即愈。予有一亲姓王。患病十余年。发即涎潮。
手足僵蜷。颠仆不省。服此药百服而愈。小儿可减服。
又方 取芭蕉自然汁。时时呷一两口。甚者服及五升必愈。前有亲姓王。同服此得效。二者恐不可并
废。此亦治惊痫搐搦。邵通直云。加麝香尤妙。
小儿患病日久，频繁出现抽搐症状，则五脏皆虚弱，同时受到病邪侵害。因此发作时会出现血气紊乱（心气并肺）、肢体抽搐（肝）、神志昏沉困倦（脾）、身体发冷（肾）。
此外，还有因正气虚弱而并发其他疾病，或因其他疾病而连带引发惊痫的情况；也有采用一方兼治多种病症的方法。现将这些情况采集并详细列出。
蝉花散
治疗惊风引起的咬牙切齿，以及夜间咳嗽。
蝉花（保留外壳，去除泥土） 僵蚕（去除丝嘴，选用直条的，用酒浸泡后炒熟） 甘草（以上各一分） 玄胡索（去除外皮，半分）
将上述药物研成细末。一岁以上的一岁儿童服用“一字”量的药粉；三至四岁的儿童服用半分的药粉。用煎好的蝉蜕（去土）汤调服。不限具体时间服用。
小镇心丸
治疗各种惊风引起的咬牙、心神不宁，以及大便颜色发青。
朱砂（水飞法处理） 铁粉 京墨（以上各一两） 脑子（冰片） 麝香（以上各一字）
将上述药物研成细末。用陈年的米饭调和，制成如绿豆大小的药丸。每次服用二三丸。用荆芥汤化开送服。不限具体时间服用。
治暗痫方
真熊胆（半两，研磨） 生天南星（研成粉末半两） 粉霜（一分） 朱砂（半两，研磨飞制） 雄黄（半两，用水磨制）
脑子（半钱，研磨） 麝香（一钱，研磨）
将上述药物均匀研磨极细。用猪胆汁调和，制成如粟米大小的药丸。每次服用五至七丸，最多十五丸。用金银花和薄荷煎汤送服。不限具体时间服用。
神乌散
治疗阴痫（暗风痫）效果极佳。
〔歌诀〕腊月选取一只完整的乌鸦。将半两朱砂填入其口中。用麻绳缠绕固定乌鸦嘴巴，放入瓶内。（使用瓶子盛装）用盐泥密封加固，置于火中煅烧。（在窑中干烧）黄昏时开始上火，天亮时停止。（使用木炭一秤半重）取出后过筛罗研磨成粉末。每次服用一钱，用麝香酒送服。（每日服用三次）连续服用十日必定痊愈。
又一方 方名相同。主治与前一方相同。
浑黑老鸦（一只完整的） 胡桃（七枚） 苍耳心子（七个）
将上述药物放入一个藏药瓶中，依次放入每种药材。用盐泥密封加固。用木炭火煅烧，直到无烟冒出为止。取出后研磨极细。每次服用一钱。空腹时用热酒调服。如果患有疝气或肾脏肿胀、阴囊偏坠，可额外加入一副新生婴儿的胎衣一同煅烧。也依照上述方法操作。用葱白、花椒煮的热酒调服。根据患者年龄大小调整剂量。
异圣散
治疗癫痫每天发作数次，服用其他药物无法治愈的情况。
猪蹄甲（不拘多少，洗净，去掉带毛处，锉碎后放入锅内炒，直到烟尽，取出放在地上，厚铺纸张，将其摊开，用盆盖住，等待三天，待火毒完全散发后，研成细末） 金星石 银星石 青礞石（以上各半斤，将三石同入一个容器中，用马粪和泥密封加固，晒干后，先用文火慢慢烧，接着添加炭火，直到通体通红，取出。然后先挖一个地坑，深一尺，将装有药物的容器放入地坑内，用土覆盖掩埋两天，以去除火毒，最后研成细末）
取上述猪蹄甲粉末二两，矿石粉末一两半，再次研磨均匀细腻。加入生麻油半两，再次研磨至极均匀。每次服用半钱。用浆水研磨一百遍后调服。空腹及进食前服用。年幼者减量。
日应丹
治疗癫痫连年不愈。
黑锡 硫黄 水银 铁粉（以上各一两） 金箔 银箔（以上各三十片）
先将锡在铁锅中熔化，其次加入水银，不停手搅拌使其均匀。其次加入硫黄及其他药物，共同翻炒搅拌均匀。离火后再炒很久，全部倾出。用纸张铺垫在地上，放置一夜，待火毒散去后，再研磨均匀细腻。用熟软的粟米饭调和，制成如绿豆大小的药丸。每次服用五至七粒。用人参煎汤送服。不限具体时间服用。
接生如圣丸
治疗癫痫阴痫，病程长久不愈。
赤石脂（二两） 硝石（半两） 白矾（枯矾，一分）
将上述药物研成细末。用糯米粥调和，制成如绿豆大小的药丸。每次服用十至十五丸。温水送服。饭后服用，每日三次。如果每天只发作一次，服用半月即可痊愈。
啄木散
治疗多年的癫痫。
腊月选取一只啄木鸟。用无灰酒三升。先取一个瓦罐，底部铺上一层一寸厚的荆芥穗叶，上面放置啄木鸟。再用一寸厚的荆芥穗叶覆盖在上面，倒入酒，仍用纸封口，用盐泥密封加固。用炭火煨烤，直到酒干且有青烟冒出为止。撤火放凉，只取啄木鸟，研磨成粉末。其次加入以下药物：
石膏（二两，研磨） 铁粉（用浆水半升，煮干后研磨成细末使用，一两） 朱砂（一分，研磨，水飞法处理） 附子（一两，正生的炮裂，去皮脐） 麝香（一分，研磨） 脑子（一钱，研磨）
将上述药物共同研磨均匀极细。每次服用一钱。先让病人喝两口温水，用一盏温酒，先取少量药粉调匀饮用，其余的酒送服。服完后便躺下睡一会儿。在发病前服用一次。等候一两天后再服用一次。每两天服用一次。不超过十次即可痊愈。我有一位姓王的亲戚，患病十余年，发作时涎液上涌，手足僵硬蜷曲，跌倒昏迷不省人事。服用此药百次后痊愈。小儿可以减量服用。
又一方 取芭蕉自然汁。时常喝一两口。病情严重的服用到五升必定痊愈。之前有位姓王的亲戚，同样服用此方得到疗效。这两种方法恐怕不可偏废。这也是治疗惊痫抽搐的方法。邵通直说：加入麝香尤其妙效。
Pediatric diseases lasting for a long time with frequent convulsions result in the deficiency of all five Zang organs, which are simultaneously affected by the pathogenic factors. Therefore, during an attack, there is chaotic blood flow (Heart Qi merging with Lung Qi), limb spasms (Liver), mental confusion and lethargy (Spleen), and cold body temperature (Kidney).
Furthermore, there are cases where other diseases occur concurrently due to deficiency, or where other diseases trigger Jing-Xian (Startle Epilepsy); there are also methods using a single formula to treat multiple conditions simultaneously. These situations are collected and detailed below.
Chan Hua San (Cicada Flower Powder)
Treats convulsive wind causing teeth grinding and night coughing.
Chan Hua (Cicada Flower, keep shell, remove dirt) Jiang Can (Bombyx Batryticatus, remove silk mouth, select straight ones, soak in wine and stir-fry until cooked) Gan Cao (Licorice Root, each one fen) Yan Hu Suo (Corydalis Rhizome, remove skin, half fen)
Grind the above ingredients into fine powder. For children over one year old, administer "yi zi" (a traditional weight unit approx. 0.3-0.5g) of powder; for children aged three to four, administer half fen. Mix with decoction of Chan Tui (Cicada Slough, removed dirt) and take orally at any time.
Xiao Zhen Xin Wan (Small Heart-Calming Pill)
Treats various forms of startle wind causing teeth grinding, restlessness, and green-colored stool.
Zhu Sha (Cinnabar, water-floating method) Tie Fen (Iron Powder) Jing Mo (Beijing Ink, each one liang) Nao Zi (Borneol) She Xiang (Musk, each one yi zi)
Grind the above ingredients into fine powder. Mix with aged rice flour to form pills the size of mung beans. Take two or three pills per dose. Dissolve in Jing Jie Tang (Schizonepeta Decoction) and take orally at any time.
Zhi An Xian Fang (Formula for Treating Yin-Epilepsy)
Zhen Xiong Dan (Real Bear Bile, half liang, ground) Sheng Tian Nan Xing (Raw Arisaema Rhizome, half liang as powder) Fen Shuang (Calomel, one fen) Zhu Sha (Cinnabar, half liang, ground and floated) Xiong Huang (Realgar, half liang, water-ground)
Nao Zi (Borneol, half qian, ground) She Xiang (Musk, one qian, ground)
Grind the above ingredients uniformly to extreme fineness. Mix with pig bile to form pills the size of millet seeds. Take five to seven pills, up to fifteen pills per dose. Take with Jin Yin Bo He Tang (Honeysuckle and Mint Decoction) at any time.
Shen Wu San (Divine Crow Powder)
Extremely effective for treating Yin-Wind Epilepsy (An Feng Xian).
[Verse] Select one whole crow in the twelfth lunar month. Fill its mouth with half a liang of Cinnabar. Bind the beak with hemp rope and place it in a bottle. (Use a bottle for containment) Seal tightly with salt mud and place in fire. (Bake dry in a kiln) Apply heat at dusk and stop at dawn. (Use one dan and a half of charcoal) Take out, sieve, and grind into powder. Take one qian per dose with Musk Wine. (Take three times a day) Ten days of administration will ensure recovery.
Another Formula: Same name. Same indications as above.
Hun Hei Lao Ya (One whole black crow) Hu Tao (Walnut, seven pieces) Cang Er Xin Zi (Cocklebur heart seed, seven pieces)
Place the above ingredients sequentially into a medicinal storage bottle. Seal tightly with salt mud. Roast with charcoal fire until smoke ceases. Take out and grind finely. Take one qian per dose. Mix with hot wine and take on an empty stomach. If suffering from hernia, kidney swelling, or unilateral scrotal descent, add one fresh infant placenta to roast together. Follow the same method. Mix with hot wine containing Scallion White and Sichuan Pepper. Adjust dosage according to age.
Yi Sheng San (Extraordinary Holy Powder)
Treats epilepsy occurring several times daily, unresponsive to other medications.
Zhu Ti Jia (Pig Trotter Hoof, wash clean, remove hairy parts, chop into pieces, stir-fry in a pot until smoke ceases, take out, spread thickly on paper on the ground, cover with a basin, wait three days to eliminate fire toxicity, then grind into fine powder) Jin Xing Shi (Venus Stone) Yin Xing Shi (Silver Star Stone) Qing Meng Shi (Green Mica Schist, each half jin. Place the three stones in a container, seal with mud mixed with horse manure, dry in sun. First burn slowly with mild fire, then add charcoal fire until red hot. Take out. Dig a pit one chi deep, place the container in the pit, cover with soil for two days to eliminate fire toxicity, then grind into fine powder)
Take two liang of Pig Trotter Hoof powder and one and a half liang of stone powder. Grind again until uniform and fine. Add half a liang of raw sesame oil and grind extremely uniformly. Take half a qian per dose. Grind with Jiang Shui (fermented grain liquid) one hundred times, mix, and take orally. Take on an empty stomach before meals. Reduce dosage for children.
Ri Ying Dan (Sun Response Pill)
Treats chronic epilepsy lasting years without cure.
Hei Xi (Black Tin) Liu Huang (Sulfur) Shui Yin (Mercury) Tie Fen (Iron Powder, each one liang) Jin Bo (Gold Leaf) Yin Bo (Silver Leaf, each thirty pieces)
First melt Tin in an iron ladle. Then add Mercury, stirring constantly until uniform. Then add Sulfur and other drugs, stir-frying together until uniform. Remove from fire and stir-fry for a long while. Pour everything out. Line the ground with paper, leave overnight to eliminate fire toxicity. Grind until uniform and fine. Mix with soft cooked millet rice flour to form pills the size of mung beans. Take five to seven pills per dose. Send down with Ren Shen Tang (Ginseng Decoction) at any time.
Jie Sheng Ru Sheng Wan (Birth-Assisting Supreme Pill)
Treats epilepsy and Yin-Wind, chronic and uncured.
Chi Shi Zhi (Red Halloysite, two liang) Xiao Shi (Niter, half liang) Bai Fan (White Alum, calcined, one fen)
Grind the above ingredients into fine powder. Mix with glutinous rice porridge to form pills the size of mung beans. Take ten to fifteen pills per dose. Send down with warm water. Take after meals, three times a day. If attacks occur once daily, recovery occurs after half a month of administration.
Zhuo Mu San (Woodpecker Powder)
Treats long-standing epilepsy.
Select one woodpecker in the twelfth lunar month. Use three sheng of non-ash wine. Take a clay pot, line the bottom with one cun thick layer of Jing Jie Sui Ye (Schizonepeta spike and leaf), place the woodpecker on top. Cover with another one cun thick layer of Jing Jie Sui Ye. Pour in the wine. Seal with paper and fix with salt mud. Roast with charcoal until the wine dries and blue smoke appears. Remove from fire and cool. Take only the woodpecker, grind into powder. Then add the following herbs:
Shi Gao (Gypsum Fibrosum, two liang, ground) Tie Fen (Iron Powder, boil half sheng of Jiang Shui until dry, grind to fine powder, use one liang) Zhu Sha (Cinnabar, one fen, ground, water-floating) Fu Zi (Prepared Aconite Root, one liang, raw, cracked by processing, remove skin and umbilicus) She Xiang (Musk, one fen, ground) Nao Zi (Borneol, one qian, ground)
Grind all ingredients uniformly to extreme fineness. Take one qian per dose. First, let the patient sip two mouthfuls of warm water. Take one cup of warm wine, mix with a small amount of medicine, drink first, then finish with the remaining wine. After taking, lie down and sleep for a short while. Take one dose before an attack. Wait one to two days, then take another dose. Take every two days. Not exceeding ten doses ensures recovery. I had a relative surnamed Wang who suffered for over ten years. Attacks involved salivary flooding, stiff and curled limbs, falling unconscious. Taking this medicine one hundred times cured him. Dosage should be reduced for children.
Another Formula: Take natural juice of Banana Stem (Ba Jiao). Sip one or two mouthfuls frequently. In severe cases, taking up to five sheng ensures recovery. A previous relative surnamed Wang was also effective with this method. Both methods should not be discarded. This also treats Startle Epilepsy and convulsions. Tongzhi Shao stated: Adding Musk is especially excellent.
