天南星（腊月酿牛胆中百日，阴干，取末四两别研，无酿者，只锉炒熟用） 朱砂（一钱
五分研） 天竺黄（一两研） 龙脑（半字别研） 坯子胭脂（一钱研，乃染胭脂。）
上用牛胆汁和丸，鸡头大，每服一丸，小者半丸，沙糖温水化下。
治肝热搐搦，脉洪实。

上件等分为末，炼蜜和丸，鸡头大，每服半丸至一丸，煎竹叶汤同沙糖温水化下。

地骨皮 桑白皮（炒各一两） 甘草（炙一钱） 上锉散，入粳米一撮，水二小盏，煎七分

以上药物用牛胆汁和匀制成如鸡头大小的丸剂，每次服用一丸，小儿减半丸，用砂糖温水化开送服。
治疗肝热引起的抽搐痉挛，脉象洪大有力。
当归（去除芦头，切片焙干称重），龙脑（焙干称重），川芎，山栀子仁，川大黄（用湿纸包裹煨制），羌活，防风（去除芦头，切片焙干称重）。
以上药物等分为粉末，用炼蜜和匀制成丸剂，如鸡头大小，每次服用半丸至一丸，煎煮竹叶汤，加入砂糖温水化开送服。

治疗肾气虚弱导致的失音，囟门迟闭不合，精神不足，眼中白睛多，面色㿠白等症。
熟地黄（八钱），山萸肉，干山药（各四钱），泽泻，牡丹皮，白茯苓（去皮各三钱）。
以上药物研为粉末，用炼蜜制成如梧桐子大小的丸剂，空腹时，用温水化开三丸送服。

治疗小儿肺气盛导致的气急喘咳。
地骨皮，桑白皮（炒制各一两），甘草（炙制一钱）。以上切碎成散剂，加入粳米一撮，水两小盏，煎至七分，饭前服用。

Treats Jing Gan (Startling Malnutrition).
Gentianae Radix et Rhizoma (Caolongdan), Saposhnikoviae Radix (Fangfeng), Indigo Naturalis (Qingdai) (each 3 qian), Uncariae Ramulus cum Uncis (Gouteng), Coptidis Rhizoma (Huanglian) (5 qian), Calculus Bovis (Niuhuang), Moschus (Shexiang), Borneolum Syntheticum (Longnao) (each 1 zi).
Make pills with wheat flour paste, size of millet seeds. Take 3–5 pills per dose, administered with Decocction of Lonicerae Japonicae Flos (Jinyinhua Tang).

Arisaematis Tuber (Tiannanxing) (fermented in ox gallbladder during the twelfth lunar month for 100 days, dried in shade, powdered to 4 liang and separately ground; if unfermented, chop and stir-fry until cooked), Cinnabaris (Zhusha) (1.5 qian, ground), Bambusae Concretio Silicea (Tianzhuhuang) (1 liang, ground), Borneolum Syntheticum (Longnao) (0.5 zi, separately ground), Carthami Flos Preparatum (Pizi Yanzhi) (1 qian, ground, i.e., dyed rouge).
Mix the above ingredients with Oxis Gall (Niu Danzhi) to form pills the size of a chicken head. Take 1 pill per dose, or half a pill for children, dissolved in warm water with rock sugar.
Treats Liver Heat causing spasms and convulsions, with a surging and solid pulse.
Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui) (remove radix neck, slice, bake, and weigh), Borneolum Syntheticum (Longnao) (bake and weigh), Ligusticum Chuanxiong Rhizoma (Chuanxiong), Gardeniae Fructus (Shanzhizi Ren), Rheum Palmatum Rhizoma (Chuan Dahuang) (wrap in wet paper and bake), Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix (Qianghuo), Saposhnikoviae Radix (Fangfeng) (remove radix neck, slice, bake, and weigh).
Grind the above ingredients into equal parts powder. Mix with refined honey to form pills the size of a chicken head. Take 0.5 to 1 pill per dose, dissolved in warm water with rock sugar after decocting leaves of Phyllostachys nigra (Zhuyeh Tang).
Xuehai Case: The "Juzhen Ben" edition appends that Wang Haicang corrected errors regarding macules and rashes, stating that Master Dongyuan used this formula to purge wind-heat toxicity following macules and rashes, which causes visual obstruction due to nebula and qi dizziness. It is highly effective. It is easy to treat in the early stages.
Treats Kidney deficiency leading to aphonia, delayed closure of the fontanelle, lack of spirit, excessive white sclera, and pale complexion.
Prepared Rehmanniae Radix (Shu Dihuang) (8 qian), Corni Fructus (Shanyurou), Dioscoreae Rhizoma Dryum (Ganshan Yao) (each 4 qian), Alismatis Rhizoma (Zexie), Moutan Cortex (Mudanpi), Poria (Baifuling) (peeled, each 3 qian).
Grind into powder. Mix with refined honey to form pills the size of Sophora japonica seeds. Take 3 pills per dose on an empty stomach, dissolved in warm water.

Treats pediatric Lung excess causing rapid breathing, wheezing, and coughing.
Cortex Lycii (Digupi), Cortex Mori (Sangbaipi) (stir-fried, each 1 liang), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao) (honey-fried, 1 qian). Chop into coarse powder. Add a pinch of Oryza Sativa (Jingmi). Decoct in two small cups of water until reduced to 70%. Take before meals.
Xuehai Case: In the "Juzhen Ben," Gancao is listed as 0.5 liang.
