治肠胃气虚，暴伤乳哺，冷热相杂，泻痢赤白，里急后重，腹痛扭撮，昼夜频并，乳食
黄连 木香（各一分） 白附子（大二个）
上为末，粟米饭丸，绿豆大或黍米大，或服十丸至二、三十丸，食前，清米饮下，日夜
各四五服。
治泄泻，不拘寒热赤白，阴阳不调，腹痛肠鸣切痛，可用如圣。
黄连（炒三分） 肉豆蔻 南木香（各一分）
上为细末，粟米饭丸，米粒大。每服米饮汤下，十丸至二、三十丸，日夜各四五服，食
治冷热腹痛，水谷利，滑肠方。
木香 诃子肉（各一分） 黄连（半两炒）
上为细末，饭和丸绿豆大。米饮下十丸至三五十丸，频服之，食前。
治小儿脏腑或好或泻，久不愈，羸瘦成疳。
川黄连（去须） 黄柏（去粗皮各一两）
上为细末，将药末入猪胆内，汤煮熟，丸如绿豆大。每服二、三十丸，米饮下。量儿大
小加减，频服，无时。
治泄泻白浊，及疳痢、滑肠、腹痛者方。
木香 黄连（各一分，一作各二钱半） 没石子（一个） 豆蔻仁（二个） 诃子肉（三个）
上为细末，饭和丸麻子大，米饮下。量儿大小加减，食前。
治变蒸有寒无热。
当归（二钱） 木香 官桂 甘草（炙） 人参（各一钱）
上 咀，每服二钱，水七分盏，姜三片，枣一枚去核，同煎服。
【白附子香连丸】治疗肠胃气虚，突然损伤乳食喂养，冷热邪气混杂，导致下痢赤白相间，里急后重（想排便但排不出或排不尽感），腹部疼痛且伴有拘挛紧缩感，白天黑夜频繁发作。
黄连、木香（各一分） 白附子（两个较大的）
将上述药物研为细末，用粟米饭调和制成丸剂，大小如绿豆或黍米。每次服用十丸至二三十丸，饭前服用，用清米汤送服，白天和晚上各服用四五次。
【当归散】治疗泄泻，不分寒热或赤白痢，因阴阳失调引起的腹痛、肠鸣及剧烈疼痛，使用此方效果显著。
黄连（炒制三分） 肉豆蔻 南木香（各一分）
将上述药物研为细末，用粟米饭调和制成丸剂，大小如米粒。每次服用时，用米汤送服十丸至二三十丸，白天和晚上各服用四五次，饭前服用。
治疗冷热交杂引起的腹痛，以及水谷利（消化不良性腹泻）、滑肠（肠道滑脱不禁）的方剂。
木香 诃子肉（各一分） 黄连（半两，炒制）
将上述药物研为细末，用米饭调和制成丸剂，大小如绿豆。用米汤送服十丸至三五十丸，频繁服用，饭前服用。
治疗小儿脏腑功能紊乱，时而便秘时而腹泻，久治不愈，身体消瘦并发展为疳积（一种慢性营养障碍性疾病）。
川黄连（去除须根） 黄柏（去除粗皮，各一两）
将上述药物研为细末，将药末装入猪胆内，在沸水中煮熟，制成如绿豆大小的丸剂。每次服用二三十丸，用米汤送服。根据患儿年龄大小增减剂量，频繁服用，不拘泥于固定时间。
治疗泄泻排出白色浑浊物，以及疳痢、滑肠、腹痛的方剂。
木香 黄连（各一分，另一种说法是各二钱半） 没石子（一个） 豆蔻仁（二个） 诃子肉（三个）
将上述药物研为细末，用米饭调和制成丸剂，大小如麻子。用米汤送服。根据患儿年龄大小增减剂量，饭前服用。
治疗变蒸期间只有寒象而没有热象的情况。
当归（二钱） 木香 官桂 甘草（炙烤） 人参（各一钱）
将上述药物切碎，每次取二钱，加入七分满杯水，生姜三片，去核的大枣一枚，共同煎煮后服用。
[ Bai Fu Zi Xiang Lian Wan (White Head Aconite and Coptis Pill) ] Treats deficiency of Qi in the intestines and stomach, sudden injury from breastfeeding or feeding, mixing of cold and heat pathogens, dysentery with red and white discharge, tenesmus (urgency to defecate with little output), abdominal pain with cramping sensations, occurring frequently day and night.
Coptidis Rhizoma (Huanglian), Aquitoniae Radix (Muxiang) (each 1 fen); Bai Fu Zi (Aconiti Kusnezoffii Radix) (two large pieces).
Grind the above into powder, mix with millet rice paste to make pills, sized like mung beans or broomcorn millet seeds. Take 10 to 20-30 pills per dose, before meals, washed down with clear rice water. Administer 4-5 times each during the day and night.
[Dang Gui San (Angelica Powder) ] Treats diarrhea, regardless of cold/heat or red/white dysentery; effective for abdominal pain and loud borborygmi with cutting pain caused by disharmony of Yin and Yang.
Coptidis Rhizoma (Huanglian) (stir-fried, 3 fen); Myristicae Semen (Roudoukou), Aquitoniae Radix (Nanmuxiang) (each 1 fen).
Grind the above into fine powder, mix with millet rice paste to make pills, sized like rice grains. Take 10 to 20-30 pills per dose, washed down with rice soup. Administer 4-5 times each during the day and night, before meals.
Formula for treating abdominal pain due to mixed cold and heat, water-and-grain diarrhea, and loose bowels (slippery intestines).
Aquitoniae Radix (Muxiang), Pericarpium Arecae Semen (Hezi Rou) (each 1 fen); Coptidis Rhizoma (Huanglian) (half liang, stir-fried).
Grind the above into fine powder, mix with rice paste to make pills, sized like mung beans. Take 10 to 30-50 pills per dose, washed down with rice water. Take frequently, before meals.
Treats cases where a child's internal organs exhibit alternating constipation and diarrhea that persists without cure, leading to emaciation and development of Gan syndrome (infantile malnutrition).
Chuan Huanglian (Sichuan Coptidis Rhizoma) (remove roots), Phellodendri Cortex (Huangbai) (remove coarse bark, each 1 liang).
Grind the above into powder, place the powder inside a pig gallbladder, cook thoroughly in boiling water, then form into pills sized like mung beans. Take 20-30 pills per dose, washed down with rice water. Adjust dosage according to the child's age and size, take frequently, at any time.
Formula for treating diarrhea with white turbid discharge, as well as Gan dysentery, loose bowels, and abdominal pain.
Aquitoniae Radix (Muxiang), Coptidis Rhizoma (Huanglian) (each 1 fen, alternatively each 2.5 qian); Myrobalanus Chebula Fructus (Meishizi) (one piece); Cardamomi Fructus Rotundus (Doukou Ren) (two kernels); Pericarpium Arecae Semen (Hezi Rou) (three pieces).
Grind the above into fine powder, mix with rice paste to make pills, sized like hemp seeds. Wash down with rice water. Adjust dosage according to the child's age and size, before meals.
Treats Bian Zheng (physiological fever in infants) presenting with cold signs but no heat.
Danggui Radix (Danggui) (2 qian); Aquitoniae Radix (Muxiang), Guixin (Cinnamomi Ramulus), Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) (prepared/stir-baked), Renshen (Panacis Ginseng Radix) (each 1 qian).
Decoct the above ingredients. Take 2 qian per dose, add 0.7 cups of water, three slices of ginger, and one date (pitted). Decoct together and administer.
