肾虚腰痛治之方。
牡丹（二分，去心） 萆 （三分） 白术（三分） 桂心（三分）
上四味，捣筛，以酒服方寸匕，日三。亦可作汤服之。忌生葱、胡荽、桃李、雀肉等。
治腰痛少气，阴弱寒冷，小便清冷沥滴，阴下湿痒，少腹急，无子息方。

姜（二分） 棘刺（四分）
上七味，捣筛，酒服方寸匕，日三。忌猪肉、冷水、海藻、菘菜。
治腰痛，皆积年痛者方。

上五味，捣末，以酒服方寸匕，日三。忌桃李、雀肉、生葱、海藻、菘菜、芜荑等。
治卒腰痛不得俯仰方。
鹿角（长六寸，烧）
上一味，捣筛为末，以酒服方寸匕。
腰疼方。
鳖甲（一枚，炙令黄，刮削令净洁。）
上一味，捣筛，空腹以汤、饮、酒服方寸匕，日三。忌人苋菜。
男子消渴，饮一斗水，小便亦得一斗，宜八味肾气丸主之，神方，消渴人宜常服之。

铅丹散，治消渴，止小便方。

治疗腰痛，特别是常年久痛的方剂。
干地黄（十分） 白术（五分） 干漆（五分） 桂心（八分） 甘草（五分，炙烤）
以上五味药，捣成粉末，用酒送服一方寸匕的药量，每日三次。忌食李子、桃子、雀肉、生葱、海藻、菘菜、芜荑等。
治疗突发腰痛导致无法弯腰和仰身的方剂。
鹿角（长六寸，烧制）
以上一味药，捣碎过筛成粉末，用酒送服一方寸匕的药量。
治疗腰痛的方剂。
鳖甲（一枚，炙烤至黄色，刮削干净）
以上一味药，捣碎过筛，空腹时用汤药、饮水或酒送服一方寸匕的药量，每日三次。忌食人苋菜。
男子患消渴病（以多饮、多尿为特征的疾病），喝一斗水，小便也排出一斗，适宜用八味肾气丸（由八种药材组成的补肾益气方剂）主治，这是神效之方，消渴病患者适宜长期服用。

附子（三两，炮制） 桂心（三两）
以上药物捣碎过筛，用蜂蜜调和制成丸药，大小如梧桐子，用酒送服十丸，逐渐增加剂量，以见效为限度。忌食猪肉、冷水、芜荑、胡荽、醋类食物、生葱。
栝蒌丸，治疗每天饮水约一石，小便不通畅的方剂。
栝蒌（三分） 铅丹（三分） 葛根（三分） 附子（一分）
共四味药，研磨过筛，用蜂蜜制成如梧桐子大小的丸药，用水送服十丸，每日三次。
铅丹散，治疗消渴病，止住小便频数的方剂。
铅丹（二分） 栝蒌（十分） 泽泻（五分） 石膏（五分） 赤石脂（五分） 白石脂（五分） 胡粉（二分） 甘草（十分）
共八味药，研磨过筛，用酒送服一方寸匕的药量，每日三次。若无效可稍加剂量，年轻力壮者服用半方寸匕。患病一年者，服药一天痊愈；患病二年者，服药两天痊愈。病情严重者，夜间用水送服，不要用酒。
Formulas for treating lower back pain due to Kidney Deficiency.
Mudan Pi (Cortex Moutan, two fen, remove the heart) Bixie (Rhizoma Dioscoreae Hypoglaucae, three fen) Baizhu (Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae, three fen) Guixin (Cortex Cinnamomi, three fen).
The above four herbs are crushed and sifted. Take one fangcun bi (a measure of volume) with wine, three times a day. It can also be taken as a decoction. Avoid raw green onions, coriander, plums, peaches, and sparrow meat.
Formula for treating lower back pain accompanied by shortness of breath, sexual weakness with cold sensation, clear and dribbling urine, dampness and itching in the genital area, urgency in the lower abdomen, and infertility.
Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae, fourteen fen, honey-fried) Xuduan (Herba Dipsaci, three fen) Maidong (Radix Ophiopogonis, three fen) Shuyu (Rhizoma Dioscoreae, three fen) Fuzi (Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata, three fen, processed) Ganjiang (Rhizoma Zingiberis Secati, two fen) Jici (Spina Gleditsiae Sinensis, four fen).
The above seven herbs are crushed and sifted. Take one fangcun bi with wine, three times a day. Avoid pork, cold water, seaweed, and Chinese cabbage.
Formula for treating lower back pain, especially chronic pain lasting for years.
Sheng Dihuang (Radix Rehmanniae Preparata, ten fen) Baizhu (Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae, five fen) Ganqi (Resina Taxilli, five fen) Guixin (Cortex Cinnamomi, eight fen) Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae, five fen, honey-fried).
The above five herbs are ground into powder. Take one fangcun bi with wine, three times a day. Avoid plums, peaches, sparrow meat, raw green onions, seaweed, Chinese cabbage, and Xanthoceras sorbifolium fruit.
Formula for treating sudden lower back pain preventing bending and stretching.
Lujiao (Cornu Cervi Nipponis, six cun long, calcined).
The above single herb is crushed and sifted into powder. Take one fangcun bi with wine.
Formula for treating lower back pain.
Biejia (Carapax et Plastrum Testudinis, one piece, roasted until yellow and scraped clean).
The above single herb is crushed and sifted. Take one fangcun bi on an empty stomach with decoction, water, or wine, three times a day. Avoid Amaranthus manihot.
For men suffering from Xiao Ke (Wasting and Thirsting Syndrome characterized by polydipsia and polyuria), drinking one dou of water results in urinating one dou; Ba Wei Shen Qi Wan (Eight-Ingredient Kidney Qi Pill) is indicated. This is a miraculous formula suitable for long-term use by patients with Xiao Ke.
Sheng Di Huang (Radix Rehmanniae Preparata, eight liang) Shuyu (Rhizoma Dioscoreae, four liang) Fuling (Poria, three liang) Shanzhuyu (Fructus Corni, five liang) Zexie (Rhizoma Alismatis, four liang) Mudan Pi (Cortex Moutan, three liang)
Fuzi (Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata, three liang, processed) Guixin (Cortex Cinnamomi, three liang).
The above herbs are crushed and sifted, mixed with honey to form pills the size of wutong seeds. Take ten pills with wine, gradually increasing the dose until efficacy is observed. Avoid pork, cold water, Xanthoceras sorbifolium fruit, coriander, vinegar products, and raw green onions.
Gualou Wan (Trichosanthes Pill), for treating daily consumption of approximately one shi of water with obstructed urination.
Gualou (Fructus Trichosanthis, three fen) Qiandan (Mineral Lead Oxide, three fen) Gegen (Radix Puerariae, three fen) Fuzi (Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata, one fen).
These four substances are ground and sifted, mixed with honey to form pills the size of wutong seeds. Take ten pills with water, three times a day.
Qiandan San (Lead Oxide Powder), for treating Xiao Ke and stopping frequent urination.
Qiandan (Mineral Lead Oxide, two fen) Gualou (Fructus Trichosanthis, ten fen) Zexie (Rhizoma Alismatis, five fen) Shigao (Gypsum Fibrosum, five fen) Chishizhi (Lapis Kaolinis Ruber, five fen) Baishizhi (Lapis Kaolinis Albus, five fen) Hufen (Plumbum Subcarbonate, two fen) Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae, ten fen).
These eight substances are ground and sifted. Take one fangcun bi with wine, three times a day. If ineffective, slightly increase the dose; young and robust individuals take half a fangcun bi. For illness lasting one year, cure is achieved after one day of medication; for two years, after two days. In severe cases, take with water at night, do not use wine.
