此口疳之秘方也，不论症之轻重，吹之无不立愈。如烂至鼻根无救。如痒加飞矾，腐甚

Xiaosha (Saltpeter) [wrapped in several layers of paper and dried over a soot-producing stove to remove salinity, then re-wrapped and dried again, ground into an extremely fine powder] Bohe (Menthae Haplocalycis Herba) [these two herbs serve as the Sovereign drugs]; Pengsha (Borax) [serving as the Minister drug]; Bingpian (Borneolum Syntheticum) [a small amount, serving as the Assistant drug]; Yazao (Gleditsiae Sinensis Spina) [a small amount, serving as the Envoy drug].
Grind these five ingredients together into a fine powder and store in a porcelain bottle. For difficult-to-rupture throat ulcers, insufflate this powder to substitute for surgical incision with a knife or needle.

This is a secret formula for treating mouth canker (Kougan). Regardless of the severity of the condition, insufflation leads to immediate recovery. If the ulceration extends to the root of the nose, it is incurable. If itching occurs, add Feifan (Alumen); if putrefaction is severe, add Qingdai (Indigo Naturalis); if the color is black, add Niuhuang (Calculus Bovis) and Huanglian (Coptidis Rhizoma); if teeth fall out, add Niuhuang (Calculus Bovis).
