《疹痘论》小儿疮疹，其或下痢赤黄脓血及浑身热，当服薤白汤。
薤白（半盏，切） 豆豉（一盏） 山栀子（十枚）
上用水五盏同煎，薤白烂为度，去滓。量大小服之，解去恶积。
董汲治小儿疮疹阳毒，入胃便血、日夜无节度，腹痛啼哭。牛黄散方
牛黄（一钱） 郁金（一两）
上研为末。每二岁儿服半钱，以浆水半盏，煎至三分，和滓温服。量大小以此增减之，日二服。
《疹痘论》治小儿麻痘疮子已出太盛、发溃，脓水粘衣着席，不能转动，疼痛湿烂。敷之便干，更不成瘢痕方。
上用牛粪不以多少，晒干，火 成灰，取心中白者，研令极细。如用蛤粉相似，用绵扑扑有疮处，不以时
候。一方用乌牛粪，一方用黄牛粪。（长沙医者王兑献方亦同，名白龙散。）
《疹痘论》∶疮疹发脓痛甚者。
上用净黄土，细罗为末敷之。
《疹痘论》∶小儿大段疮发，不通卧席方。
上用麦麸，不计多少，床上站卧将息。
《龙木论》治小儿斑疮入眼外障。此眼初患时，不论大小须患斑疮。一度疮子患时，觉入眼中，即须将息慎忌。
若不忌口将息，即便疼痛泪出，赤涩，怕日难开，肿便翳如银色，此为热气在肝，上冲入眼，肝膈壅毒，致成
障翳。宜用秦皮汤洗之，然后服凉肝丸。（二方并见本门。）亦不宜镰洗出血，点药挑拨。疼痛定后，即点退翳药，亦
得。立效。
《惠济论》小儿斑疮入眼候歌∶
斑痘才生眼不开，泪流频有热横腮。如桃肿赤如锥痛，此疾应知奔眼来。因与毒餐同热面，或因鸡鸭与鹅
灾。急交制造威灵散，百日无逾尚可回。
《龙木论》凉肝丸方
防风（二两） 黄芩 茺蔚子 黑参 大黄 知母（各一两） 人参 茯苓（各一两半）
上为末，炼蜜和丸梧桐子大。空心，茶下十丸。
《龙木论》秦皮汤方
秦皮（二两） 秦艽 细卒 防风（各一两） 甘草（半两）
上为末。水二盏，散二钱，煎至三五沸，淋洗眼，立效。
《圣惠》治小儿疹痘疮入眼，并无辜气入眼。密蒙花散方
密蒙花（三两） 青葙子（一两） 决明子 车前子（各一两）
上件药各捣，罗为末。每服以密蒙花一钱半，诸药各半钱相合令匀。用羊肝一大片切破，掺诸药在肝内。
以湿纸裹，煨令热，空心量力与食之。钱乙治小儿痘疮入眼及无辜气入眼方同，名羊肝散。《活人书》治疹痘
疮并诸毒瓦斯入眼，亦名密蒙花散。
《谭氏殊圣》治疮子入眼。仙灵脾散
仙灵脾 威灵仙（各等分）
上件为末。每服二钱，食后用米饮调下，小儿半钱与。《赵氏家传》方同，赵氏名二仙散。治斑疹入眼，
因食毒突睛出外。
《养生必用》治目暴赤肿痛，小儿斑疮入眼方
子（炒香） 蔓菁子（绢袋盛，饭上蒸熟，取出焙干，炒令香） 甘草（炙） 木贼（去节，各等分）
上为末。沸汤点一钱，食后服，日三。
《养生必用》治小儿斑疮入眼方。
谷精草 蛤粉（等分）
上为末。每服一钱，猪肝二两来批开、掺药在内；卷了，青竹叶裹，麻缕扎定。水一碗，煮令熟，入收于
瓷瓶内熏眼，候温取食。日作，不过十日退。《活人书》治小儿疮子入眼方同，名蛤粉散。
钱乙蝉蜕散 治斑疮入眼半年以里者，一月取效。
蝉壳（去土，取末一两） 猪悬蹄甲（二两，罐子内盐泥固济，烧存性）
上二味，研入羚羊角细末一分，拌匀。每服一字，百日外儿半钱，三岁以上一二钱，温水或新水调下。日
三四，夜一二，食后服。一年以外难治。
钱乙附方治疮疹太盛，宜服此调肝散，令不入眼。（方见已出未出门中。《圣惠》犀角饮子同。）
钱乙附方治疮疹入眼。
马屁勃 蛇皮（各半两） 皂角子（十四个）
上入小罐子内，盐泥固济，烧存性，研细，温酒调下一二钱，食后服。（董汲方同。名蛇蜕散。）
钱乙又方 治疮疹入眼成翳。
栝蒌根（半两） 蛇皮（二钱）
上同为细末。用羊子肝一个，批开入药末二钱，麻缠定，米泔煮食，频与食之。未能食肝，与乳母多食。
董汲方同，名真珠散。仍云∶少小未能食，即羊肝令熟，研和为丸如黄米大。以米泔下十丸，或乳上与亦可，
日三服。
钱乙又方
上用蝉壳末，水煎羊子肝汤调服二三钱。凡痘疮才欲着痂，即用酥或面油不住润之，可揭即揭去。若不润
及迟揭，疮痂硬即隐成瘢痕。
张涣决明丹方 治疹痘疮后毒瓦斯入眼。
决明子 密蒙花（各一两） 青葙子 车前子 川黄连（去须） 羚羊角（屑者半两）
上件捣，罗为细末。煮羊肝一具，切破同诸药捣一二百下，如黍米大。每服十粒，荆芥汤下，乳食后。量
儿大小加减。
张涣护目膏方 截斑毒入眼。
黄柏（蜜炙） 绿豆 红蓝花（各一两） 甘草（半两，生用）
上件捣罗为细末，研匀，用好脂麻油调如薄膏。从耳前眼 外涂之，时时用。
《惠济论》威灵散 治小儿斑疮，雀目，眼生翳障遮瞒。
威灵仙 仙灵脾 甘草（炙） 茯苓 子芩 青葙子 大青 芍药 大黄（蒸）
上等分为细末。每服半钱或一钱， 猪胆二个，批开掺药末在内，麻皮缠，米泔煮熟，放冷吃。
《良方》治小儿豌豆疮入目，痛楚，恐伤目。
上用浮萍阴干。每服一二钱，随儿大小，以羊子肝半个入盏子内，以杖子刺伤烂，投水半合，绞取肝汁调
下，食后服。不甚者，一服瘥。已伤目者十服瘥。邢州杜医用此药，前后效者甚多。
《疹痘论》蕤仁散方
蕤仁（去灰，炙） 黄芩 栀子仁 黄连 黄柏皮 川升麻 甘草（炙。各一两）
上为细末。每服二钱，用水一盏，煎至六分，去滓。食后温服，量儿大小。如生翳障重者，兼密蒙花散。
《疹痘论》密蒙花散方
密蒙花（三两，别为末） 井泉石 青葙子 决明子 车前子（各一两）
上为细末。密蒙花散半钱末与蕤仁散半钱相和合，羊肝一片切破，掺药末在肝内，湿纸裹，火煨令熟。空
心量力食，翳膜退即止服。
《活人书》决明散 治疹痘疮入眼方。
决明子 赤芍药 甘草（炙。各一分） 栝蒌根（半两）
上捣罗为末。每服半钱，蜜水调下，逐日三服。
《活人书》拨云散 治疹痘疮入眼及生翳方。
上用桑螵蛸真者一两，炙令焦，细研，捣罗为细末。入麝香少许，令匀。每服一钱，生米泔调下，临卧服。
《活人书》通圣散 治疹痘疮入眼及生翳方
白菊花（如无，只甘菊花代之，然不如白菊） 绿豆皮 谷精草（去根。各一两）
上捣，罗为细末。每服用一大钱，干柿一个，生粟米泔一盏，共一处煎，候米泔尽，只将干柿去核与食之。
不拘时候，一日可吃三枚。日浅者，五七日可效。远者，半月余。
《聚宝方》泉石散 治小儿风热攻眼，及斑疮入眼。
井泉石（先为末，再研、水飞） 蝉壳 蛇皮 甘草（三味炙。以上各一两）
上四味为末。每服半钱至一钱，蜜水调下。忌油腻。
《刘氏家传》小儿目中痘疮成翳方。
大黄（炒为细末，挑二钱） 水银（半钱）
上用男人津唾化水银为泥，次入大黄末，方入冷水调涂腮上。如干时，用水湿之。极效。
《刘氏家传》治眼昏涩，赤脉侵睛，泪多或作翳障。羚羊角丸方

上件为末。炼蜜为丸如蝉子大。每服一丸，食后用荆芥汤嚼下。小儿斑疮眼，看儿大小加减，用蝉壳汤化
下，食后服。
《张氏家传》治孩子痘疮入眼。
蕤仁 桃仁 杏仁（各七个，皮尖次入） 腻粉 龙脑 砂 牙硝（各一钱，研极细）
上用白砂蜜调末，炙三次收之。每用一粟米点立效。
《张氏家传》治小儿麸痘疮入眼，昏暗翳膜遮障。金花散
黄连（去须） 菊花 枸杞子（各一两） 牛蒡子（ ，炒，半两） 甘草（三分，炙）
上件捣，罗为末。每服一钱，薄荷汤调下。不计时候服。
《张氏家传》治小儿斑疮入眼。
黄连 菊花 密蒙花（各半两） 蛇皮（一条，烧灰存性） 甘草（炙，一分）
上件为散，炼蜜丸如绿豆大。冷绿豆汤下五丸、十丸加减用。

蛇蜕皮 马屁勃 皂角（不 者） 谷精草
上四味各秤等分，同入瓦藏瓶内，用盐泥固济，木炭烧令通赤，出于地坑子内出火毒，候冷取出，细研为
末。每服一字，温米泔调下。
《庄氏家传》桦皮散 治小儿斑疮入眼及裹黑睛。
桦皮 头发 蛇蜕（各半两）
上细锉，净器内点火烧之，候烟尽，研细。每服半钱，煎黑豆汤，入酒三滴调下，日五服。
《庄氏家传》又方
上用蚕沙烧灰为末。每服一钱，以米泔研生绿豆七粒调下，每夜一服，病去即止。
《庄氏家传》斑疮入眼方。
上用黄芩为末，腊月内黄牛胆内，就吊于北阴中，旋丸绿豆大。曲汤下五丸，只一服退。隔年者，三服至
五服。三年外者，不医。
《王氏手集》∶小儿疮疹入眼方。
地骨皮 盐豉（等分，于新瓦上焦）
上为末。每服一钱，陈粟饮调下，日三服。神妙。
善化陶宰治小儿斑疮入眼。
上用一鳝鱼，以针刺血贮器内，点入眼即愈。甚佳。
长沙医者丁时发传治斑疮入眼方。
斑疮入眼莫寻常，热气流来到此方。鹤顶一膏能取效，时间病退号医王。
黄芩散（谓涂药如鹤顶）
黄芩 山栀子 黄丹（各等分）
上件为末。用牛蒡子叶杵汁调涂在顶门。
长沙医者丁安中传治斑疮翳障，眼不见光明。宜服蝉蜕散（如睛爆破不可医）
蝉蜕（去土） 蛇蜕（炙） 川升麻（洗） 蒺藜（炒，去角） 黄连（炒） 谷精草 大青叶 仙灵
脾威灵仙 井泉石（各半两） 朱砂（研） 螺粉（各一分）
上为细末。每服半钱或一钱，蜜水调下。大人、小儿加减服。
长沙医者郑愈传治小儿斑疮入眼。甘菊花散方
甘菊花 谷精草 石决明（各等分）
上件为末。每服二钱，水一盏，入干柿子一个，同煎至七分，只服干柿，细嚼服。
《圣惠》灸法∶小儿斑疮入眼，灸大杼二穴各一壮，项后第一椎下两傍各一寸半，陷者中，炷如小麦大。
《疹痘论》：小儿患疮疹，如果出现下痢赤黄色脓血以及全身发热，应当服用薤白汤。
薤白（半盏，切碎） 豆豉（一盏） 山栀子（十枚）
以上药材用水五盏共同煎煮，直到薤白煮烂为止，滤去药渣。根据患儿年龄大小调整剂量服用，以解除体内的恶毒积滞。
董汲治疗小儿疮疹阳毒，邪气入胃导致便血，日夜无节制，伴有腹痛和啼哭。牛黄散方：
牛黄（一钱） 郁金（一两）
以上药材研成粉末。每两岁幼儿服用半钱，用浆水半盏，煎至剩余三分之一的量，连同药渣一起温服。根据患儿年龄大小在此基础增减剂量，每日服用两次。
《疹痘论》：治疗小儿麻痘疮子已经发出且过于旺盛、溃破，脓水粘连衣服和席子，无法转动，疼痛且湿烂。敷上此药即可变干，且不会留下瘢痕的方剂。
以上使用牛粪不限多少，晒干后烧成灰，取中心白色的部分，研磨至极细。使用时如同使用蛤粉一样，用棉絮蘸取扑在有疮的地方，不拘泥于固定时间。另一方法是用黑牛粪，还有一种方法是用黄牛粪。（长沙医生王兑献出的方子也相同，名为白龙散。）
《疹痘论》：疮疹化脓疼痛严重的。
以上使用干净的黄土，细细筛成粉末敷在患处。
《疹痘论》：小儿大面积疮发，无法安卧在席子上的方剂。
以上使用麦麸，不限多少，让患儿在床上站立或躺卧休息调养。
《龙木论》：治疗小儿斑疮侵入眼睛形成的外障。这种眼病初发时，不论年龄大小都必须患有斑疮。第一次患疮疹时，感觉邪气进入眼中，就必须注意调养并严格禁忌。
如果不忌口且不注重调养，就会立即出现疼痛流泪、眼睛红涩、怕光难以睁开，肿胀并形成如银色般的翳膜，这是因为热气在肝脏，向上冲入眼睛，肝膈壅塞有毒，导致形成障翳。适宜用秦皮汤清洗眼睛，然后服用凉肝丸。（这两个方子都见本书本门。）也不宜用镰刀刮洗出血，或用药物挑拨。疼痛稳定后，再点退翳药，也可以，立竿见影。
《惠济论》小儿斑疮入眼的候症歌诀：
斑痘刚生时眼睛睁不开，泪水频繁流出，热气横溢脸颊。眼睛像桃子一样红肿，痛如锥刺，此疾应知是奔袭眼睛而来。因为与有毒的食物同吃热面，或者因为鸡鸭鹅等食物引发灾祸。急忙制造威灵散，百日之内尚可挽回。
《龙木论》凉肝丸方：
防风（二两） 黄芩 茺蔚子 黑参 大黄 知母（各一两） 人参 茯苓（各一两半）
以上药材研成粉末，用炼蜜调和制成梧桐子大小的丸药。空腹时，用茶送服十丸。
《龙木论》秦皮汤方：
秦皮（二两） 秦艽 细辛 防风（各一两） 甘草（半两）
以上药材研成粉末。用水两盏，放入药散二钱，煎煮三到五次沸腾，淋洗眼睛，立竿见影。
《圣惠》治疗小儿疹痘疮入眼，以及无辜气入眼。密蒙花散方：
密蒙花（三两） 青葙子（一两） 决明子 车前子（各一两）
以上药材分别捣碎，筛成粉末。每次服用密蒙花一钱半，其他药物各半钱混合均匀。用一大片羊肝切开，将药物掺入肝内。
用湿纸包裹，煨烤至热，空腹时根据量力给予食用。钱乙治疗小儿痘疮入眼及无辜气入眼的方子相同，名为羊肝散。《活人书》治疗疹痘疮及诸种毒瓦斯入眼，也叫密蒙花散。
《谭氏殊圣》治疗疮子入眼。仙灵脾散：
仙灵脾 威灵仙（各等分）
以上药材研成粉末。每次服用二钱，饭后用米饮调服，小儿服用半钱。《赵氏家传》方子相同，赵氏称为二仙散。治疗斑疹入眼，因食毒导致眼球突出。
《养生必用》治疗眼睛突然红肿疼痛，小儿斑疮入眼方：
菟丝子（炒香） 蔓菁子（用绢袋盛装，在饭上蒸熟，取出焙干，炒香） 甘草（炙） 木贼（去节，各等分）
以上药材研成粉末。用沸水冲泡一钱，饭后服用，每日三次。
《养生必用》治疗小儿斑疮入眼方。
谷精草 蛤粉（等分）
以上药材研成粉末。每次服用一钱，猪肝二两剖开，将药物掺入其中；卷好，用青竹叶包裹，麻线扎紧。用水一碗，煮至熟透，收入瓷瓶内熏眼，待温热时取出食用。每日一次，不超过十天即可消退。《活人书》治疗小儿疮子入眼方相同，名为蛤粉散。
钱乙蝉蜕散 治疗斑疮入眼半年以内的，一个月见效。
蝉壳（去土，取末一两） 猪悬蹄甲（二两，在罐子里用盐泥密封固济，烧至存性）
以上两味药，加入羚羊角细末一分，拌匀。每次服用一字，百日外的婴儿服用半钱，三岁以上儿童服用一二钱，用温水或新水调服。每日三四次，夜间一二次，饭后服用。一年以上的难治。
钱乙附方治疗疮疹太盛，适宜服用此调肝散，防止邪气入眼。（方子见已出未出门中。《圣惠》犀角饮子相同。）
钱乙附方治疗疮疹入眼。

以上放入小罐子内，用盐泥密封固济，烧至存性，研细，用温酒调服一二钱，饭后服用。（董汲方相同。名为蛇蜕散。）
钱乙又方 治疗疮疹入眼形成翳膜。
栝蒌根（半两） 蛇皮（二钱）
以上共同研为细末。用一个羊羔肝，剖开纳入药末二钱，用麻线缠定，用米泔水煮食，频繁给患儿食用。如果不能吃肝，让乳母多吃。
董汲方相同，名为真珠散。还说：年幼不能吃的，就把羊肝煮熟，研磨混合做成如黄米大小的丸药。用米泔送服十丸，或者配合乳汁服用也可以，每日三次。
钱乙又方
以上使用蝉壳末，用水煎羊羔肝汤调服二三钱。凡是痘疮刚要结痂，就用酥油或面油不断滋润，可以揭除时就揭除。如果不滋润以及延迟揭除，疮痂变硬就会隐形成瘢痕。
张涣决明丹方 治疗疹痘疮后毒瓦斯入眼。
决明子 密蒙花（各一两） 青葙子 车前子 川黄连（去须） 羚羊角（屑者半两）
以上药材捣碎，筛成细末。煮一个羊肝，切开同诸药捣一二百下，制成如黍米大小的丸药。每次服用十粒，用荆芥汤送服，乳食之后。根据患儿年龄大小加减。
张涣护目膏方 截断斑毒入眼。
黄柏（蜜炙） 绿豆 红蓝花（各一两） 甘草（半两，生用）
以上药材捣碎筛成细末，研匀，用好脂麻油调成薄膏状。从耳前眼角外侧涂抹，时时使用。
《惠济论》威灵散 治疗小儿斑疮，雀目，眼睛生翳障遮挡视线。
威灵仙 仙灵脾 甘草（炙） 茯苓 黄芩 青葙子 大青 芍药 大黄（蒸）
以上等分为细末。每次服用半钱或一钱，猪胆二个，剖开掺入药末在内，用麻皮缠绕，米泔煮熟，放冷后吃。
《良方》治疗小儿豌豆疮入目，痛苦，担心伤眼。
以上使用浮萍阴干。每次服用一二钱，根据患儿大小，用半个羊羔肝放入盏子内，用杖子刺烂，投入半合水，绞取肝汁调服，饭后服用。不严重的，一服药痊愈。已经伤眼的，十服药痊愈。邢州杜医用此药，前后有效者很多。
《疹痘论》蕤仁散方：
蕤仁（去灰，炙） 黄芩 栀子仁 黄连 黄柏皮 川升麻 甘草（炙。各一两）
以上研成细末。每次服用二钱，用水一盏，煎至六分，滤去药渣。饭后温服，根据患儿年龄大小调整。如果生翳障严重的，兼用密蒙花散。
《疹痘论》密蒙花散方：
密蒙花（三两，另研为末） 井泉石 青葙子 决明子 车前子（各一两）
以上研成细末。密蒙花散半钱末与蕤仁散半钱混合，一片羊肝切开，将药末掺入肝内，用湿纸包裹，火烤至熟。空腹量力食用，翳膜消退即停止服用。
《活人书》决明散 治疗疹痘疮入眼方。
决明子 赤芍药 甘草（炙。各一分） 栝蒌根（半两）
以上捣碎筛成粉末。每次服用半钱，用蜜水调服，每日三次。
《活人书》拨云散 治疗疹痘疮入眼及生翳方。
以上使用真的桑螵蛸一两，炙至焦，细研，捣罗成细末。加入少许麝香，令其均匀。每次服用一钱，用生米泔调服，临睡前服用。
《活人书》通圣散 治疗疹痘疮入眼及生翳方
白菊花（如果没有，只用甘菊花代替，但不如白菊好） 绿豆皮 谷精草（去根。各一两）
以上捣碎，筛成细末。每次服用一大钱，干柿一个，生粟米泔一盏，放在一起煎，等到米泔煎尽，只将干柿去核食用。
不拘时候，一天可以吃三个。病程短的，五七天可见效。病程远的，半月多。
《聚宝方》泉石散 治疗小儿风热攻眼，及斑疮入眼。
井泉石（先为末，再研、水飞） 蝉壳 蛇皮 甘草（三味炙。以上各一两）
以上四味药研成粉末。每次服用半钱至一钱，用蜜水调服。忌油腻。
《刘氏家传》小儿目中痘疮成翳方。

以上药材研成散剂，炼蜜制成如绿豆大小的丸药。冷绿豆汤送服五丸、十丸，酌情加减使用。
《张氏家传》治疗小儿斑疮入眼。蛇蜕散：
蛇蜕皮 马屁勃 皂角（不 者） 谷精草
以上四味药各称等分，一同放入瓦藏瓶内，用盐泥密封固济，木炭烧至通红，置于地坑内去除火毒，待冷却后取出，细研成粉末。每次服用一字，用温米泔调服。
《庄氏家传》桦皮散 治疗小儿斑疮入眼及裹黑睛。
桦皮 头发 蛇蜕（各半两）
以上细锉，在净器内点火烧之，等到烟尽，研细。每次服用半钱，煎黑豆汤，加入三滴酒调服，每日五次。
《庄氏家传》又方

Dong Ji treated infantile variolous eruptions with Yang toxicity entering the stomach, causing bloody stools without day-night regulation, abdominal pain, and crying. Formula for *Niu Huang San* (Calculus Bovis Powder):

The above ingredients are ground into powder. For a two-year-old child, half a *qian* is administered. Using half a *zhan* of Jiangshui (fermented grain water), it is decocted until one-third remains. The mixture, including dregs, is taken warm. The dosage is increased or decreased based on the child's size, administered twice daily.
*Zhen Dou Lun*: Treats cases where infantile measles/smallpox eruptions have emerged excessively and ulcerated, with pus adhering to clothes and mats, preventing movement, causing painful, wet, and rotting sores. Applying this will dry the sores and prevent scarring.
Use cow dung in any amount, dry it, and burn it to ash. Take the white center part, grind it extremely fine. Apply it like Ge Fen (Concha Meretricis et Cyprinae) to the affected areas using cotton, at any time. Another method uses black cow dung; another uses yellow cow dung. (Doctor Wang Dui from Changsha offered the same formula, named *Bai Long San* [White Dragon Powder].)
*Zhen Dou Lun*: For severe pain and suppuration from variolous eruptions.
Use clean yellow earth, sift finely, and apply as a powder.
*Zhen Dou Lun*: Formula for infants with extensive eruptions unable to lie comfortably on mats.
Use wheat bran in any amount; allow the child to stand or lie on it for rest and recuperation.
*Long Mu Lun*: Treats external obstructions caused by infantile maculopapular eruptions entering the eyes. This eye condition occurs regardless of age when the child suffers from maculopapular eruptions. Upon the first occurrence of eruptions, if there is a sensation of invasion into the eyes, careful rest and strict taboos are required.
If dietary restrictions and rest are not observed, immediate pain, tearing, redness, dryness, photophobia, difficulty opening eyes, swelling, and silver-colored opacities will occur. This is due to heat qi in the Liver ascending into the eyes, causing congestion and toxicity in the Liver and Diaphragm, resulting in visual obstructions. It is suitable to wash the eyes with *Qin Pi Tang* (Cortex Fraxini Decoction), followed by administering *Liang Gan Wan* (Cool Liver Pill). (Both formulas are found in this section.) Scraping until bleeding occurs or picking at the eyes with medication is not advisable. After pain subsides, applying anti-opacification drops can also yield immediate results.
*Hui Ji Lun* Song regarding signs of eruptions entering the eyes:
When maculopapular eruptions first appear, the eyes cannot open; tears flow frequently, and heat spreads across the cheeks. Swollen red like peaches, painful as if pierced by an awl; know that this disease rushes to the eyes. It arises from consuming toxic foods with hot noodles, or disasters caused by chicken, duck, or goose. Quickly prepare *Wei Ling San* (Aristolochia Powder); within a hundred days, recovery is still possible.

Store in a porcelain bottle. Use the steam to fumigate the eyes, then consume when warm. Once daily; resolves within ten days. The formula from *Huo Ren Shu* is the same, named *Gafen San* (Concha Powder).
*Chan Tui San* (Cicada Slough Powder) by Qian Yi treats eruptions entering the eyes within six months, effective within one month.

It states: For young children who cannot eat, cook the lamb liver, grind and mix into pills the size of millet. Take ten pills with rice wash water, or mix with milk, three times daily.
Another formula by Qian Yi:
Take Cicada Slough powder, decoct lamb liver in water, mix and take two to three *qian*. Whenever pox scabs are about to form, constantly moisten with butter or flour oil. Remove scabs when they can be peeled off. If not moistened or removal is delayed, hard scabs will hide and form scars.

Place half a lamb liver in a cup, pierce and mash with a stick, add half *he* of water, squeeze out liver juice, mix and take, after meals. Mild cases cure with one dose. Damaged eyes cure with ten doses. Doctor Du from Xingzhou used this medicine with many successes.
