（一合） 牛黄（一分，细研） 生地黄汁（一两） 石膏 子芩 蜜龙齿（各一两）
上件药除姜汁、地黄汁、蜜、杏仁、牛黄外，并细锉。先以水二大盏，煎至一盏，去滓；入竹沥一小盏，
又煎五七沸，纳杏仁、蜜、姜汁、地黄汁；以慢火煎，搅不停手，约十余沸，放冷，于瓷合中盛；入牛黄，
搅令匀。每一合，分为三服。更量儿大小加减。
《圣惠》治小儿发惊痫，体瘦烦热。犀角煎方
犀角屑 知母 川升麻（各一两） 子芩 人参（去芦头） 钩藤（各三分） 蚱蝉（二枚，去翅足，微炒） 蛇
蜕皮（三寸，微炙） 甘草（炙微赤，锉） 柴胡（去苗。各半两）
上件药捣，罗为末，用水二盏入银锅中，以文火煎取六分，去滓；入蜜二合，竹沥一小盏，再煎如锡。每
服抄半钱，以温水调化服之。更量儿大小以意加减。
《圣惠》治小儿惊痫，四肢抽掣及身体反张，目睛上视，色青，大叫声不转者。宜服寒水石散方
（去除芦头）炙甘草（微火炙至赤色，切碎），杏仁（热水浸泡，去皮尖及双仁部分，研磨成膏。各取半两），蛇蜕皮（五寸长，烧成灰），生姜汁（一合），牛黄（一分，细研），生地黄汁（一两），石膏，子芩，蜜龙齿（各一两）。
以上药物中，除了生姜汁、生地黄汁、蜂蜜、杏仁和牛黄之外，其余药物均切成细末。先取两大盏水，煎煮至剩下一盏，滤去药渣；加入一小盏竹沥，再煮沸五六次；然后放入杏仁、蜂蜜、生姜汁和生地黄汁；用慢火煎煮，期间不停搅拌，大约煮沸十余次后，放凉，盛放在瓷盒中；最后加入牛黄，搅拌均匀。每次服用一合，分为三次服用。更需根据患儿的大小酌情增减剂量。
《太平圣惠方》治疗小儿发作惊痫，身体消瘦且烦热。犀角煎方：
犀角屑，知母，川升麻（各一两），子芩，人参（去除芦头），钩藤（各三分），蚱蝉（两只，去除翅膀和足，微炒），蛇蜕皮（三寸，微炙），炙甘草（微火炙至赤色，切碎），柴胡（去除苗茎。各半两）。
以上药物捣碎，过筛成为粉末，取两盏水放入银锅中，用文火煎取六分量的药液，滤去药渣；加入两合蜂蜜和一小盏竹沥，再次煎煮至像锡液那样浓稠。每次服用半钱，用温水调化后服用。更需根据患儿的大小酌情增减剂量。
《太平圣惠方》治疗小儿惊痫，四肢抽搐掣动以及身体反张，眼球上视，面色发青，大声呼叫但声音转不过来的情况。适宜服用寒水石散方。
(Remove the rhizome head) Zhi Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, roasted until slightly red and chopped), Xingren (Prunus Armeniaca Seed, soaked in water, skin and tips removed, non-dual kernels used, ground into paste. Each 0.5 liang), Shetui (Ophichthidis Cutis Corneum, 5 cun long, burned to ash), Shengjiang Zhi (Fresh Ginger Juice, 1 he), Niuhuang (Calculus Bovis, finely ground), Shengdihuang Zhi (Rehmanniae Radix Fresh Juice, 1 liang), Shigao (Gypsum Fibrosum), Ziqin (Scutellariae Radix), Milongchi (Dragon's Tooth with Honey, each 1 liang).
For the above herbs, except for Shengjiang Zhi, Shengdihuang Zhi, honey, Xingren, and Niuhuang, all are finely chopped. First, take two large zhan of water, decoct until one zhan remains, remove the dregs; add one small zhan of Zhuli (Bamboo Sap), boil again for five or seven times; then add Xingren, honey, Shengjiang Zhi, and Shengdihuang Zhi; decoct over low heat, stirring constantly, for about ten more boils, let cool, and store in a porcelain container; finally add Niuhuang, stir until uniform. Each he is divided into three doses. Adjust further according to the child's size.
Taiping Shenghui Fang treats pediatric convulsive epilepsy with emaciation and irritability/heat. Xijiao Jian Decoction:
Xijiao Xie (Rhinocerotis Cornu Powder), Zhimu (Anemarrhenae Rhizoma), Chuan Shengma (Cimicifugae Rhizoma, each 1 liang), Ziqin (Scutellariae Radix), Renshen (Ginseng Radix, rhizome head removed), Gouteng (Uncariae Ramulus cum Uncis, each 3 qian), Zhechan (Tettigidae Periostracum, two specimens, wings and legs removed, lightly fried), Shetui (Ophichthidis Cutis Corneum, 3 cun, lightly roasted), Zhi Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, roasted until slightly red and chopped), Chaihu (Bupleuri Radix, stems removed. Each 0.5 liang).
The above herbs are crushed, sifted into powder. Take two zhan of water in a silver pot, decoct over gentle fire to obtain six-tenths volume, remove dregs; add two he of honey and one small zhan of Zhuli, decoct again until thick like molten tin. Each dose is half qian, dissolved and taken with warm water. Adjust dosage at discretion based on the child's size.
Taiping Shenghui Fang treats pediatric convulsive epilepsy characterized by spasms and jerking of the four limbs, opisthotonos (body arching backward), upward deviation of the eyes, cyanotic complexion, loud crying with inability to change voice tone. It is suitable to take Hanshuishi San Powder.
