凡汤火伤初起，即以食盐研末，用米醋调匀敷患处，频涂不绝，临时虽痛，却能护内不坏，然后用药敷贴。切
不可用冷物塌、冷水洗，并凉药敷贴。予每见以冷水冲击者，使热气不得出，必致内攻而不救，慎之！
凡汤火伤，闷乱不省人事，急以蜂蜜调汤灌之。若至重者，急以煮过好熟酒数十壶，入浴盆内，以患儿浸酒
中，虽至重者不死。
女儿火烧手，且 至掌，即以酸醋升余浸之。出醋尚痛，少时痛止，不疮不脓不疤痕。奇方也。
治汤火伤，久经效验者，凡汤火伤烂，皮已脱去，惟有鲜肉，或臭烂不堪，诸药不治者，用猪毛一篮，以破
锅炭火 红，入猪毛在内 之，少时猪毛消化而成黑液，取起冷定，略加大黄数钱，共研细末，再加冰片一分，
研匀，香油、茶油、蜡烛油，俱可调搽。
至神至灵之方也。

疮。毒之轻者发则微，贵乎调养；毒之重者发则密，急于提防。至于运气推迁，在于胜复升降，时令乖异，无
非寒热温凉。苟阴阳之逆理，为气候之反常。五行郁而灾见，九曜窒而变彰。疠气流行，无论郡邑乡党；恶毒
传染，岂分黎庶侯王。此则不形于诊，贵在能制其亢。先事解散兮，十全八九；临时区处兮，耻寻常。
大抵气运先岁，痘疹属阳。春夏为顺兮，乐其生长；秋冬为逆兮，恶其收藏。暴寒兮，恐邪毒之郁遏；暴
热兮，虑腠理之开张。脓 春而莫疗，黑陷夏以为殃。秋斑实恶，冬疹非祥。此逆四时之令，休夸三世之方。
且如证候殊形，脏腑异状。肝主泪而水泡，肺主涕而脓浆。心斑红艳，脾疹赤黄。惟肾经之无证，惟变黑而可
妨。所以观乎外候，因而辨其五内。呵欠顿闷兮，肝木之因；咳嗽喷
嚏兮，肺金之相。手足冷而昏睡兮，脾土困于中央；面目赤而惊悸兮，心火炎于膈上。耳 属肾，温暖如常。
二处烁热兮，下极火炎而必毙；四肢厥冷兮，中州土败而倾亡。
先分部位，次察灾祥，阳明布于面中，太阳行于头上。心肺居胸膈之要，肝胆主胁腋之旁。手足司于脾胃，
腰背统于膀胱，泄泻者邪甚于下，呕吐者邪甚于上。气逆而腹痛隐隐，毒深而腰痛皇皇。心热甚而搐搦，胃
邪实而癫狂。鼻燥咽干，肺受火邪而液竭；屎硬溺涩，肾由火旺而精亡。气弱减餐者，不任其毒；神强能食者，
不失其常。
欲决重轻，但观发热；如占顺逆，须认其疮。毒甚兮身如炎火，热微兮体或清凉。若寒热之来往，定征兆
之佳祥。数番施出兮，春回阳谷；一齐涌出兮，火烈昆岗。蚊迹蚤斑，刻期而为鬼录；蛇皮蚕壳，引日而返泉
乡。不喜珠红，更嫌灰白；最宜苍蜡，切忌紫黄。常要明润兮，恐薄嫩之易破；不宜干枯兮，防搔痒之难当。恶
候如此，上工审祥。面颊稀而磊落，清安可保；胸膈密而边串，凶吉难量。顶要尖圆，不宜平陷；浆宜饱满，
切忌虚空。兼之颜色喜老而恶嫩，皮肤爱糙而怕光。焰起根窠，终防痒塌；丹浮皮肉，必致夭殇。头面预肿兮，
三阳亢甚；手足厥冷兮，五脏摧伤。疮堆喉舌，毒缠颈项。咽喉痛而呼吸则难，饮食少而吞吐则呛。此天命之
安排，岂人力之可仗。
烦躁闷乱兮，七神离散；谵语眩冒兮，五毒猖狂，鼓项战栗兮肺败，切牙口噤兮肾伤。渴不住兮焦膈，泻

轻重反复，调理乖张。轻变重而可畏，重变轻而莫慌，风寒素慎，饮食如常。出入禁乎男女，盖覆适其温凉。
内无妄动，治不乖方。此则变轻之候，实为保命之良。若当犯乎禁忌，或误投乎丸汤。徒肆房室，不顺阴阳。外
感不正之气，内伤不时之粮。平人且病，患者敢当？是以顺则逆而逆则险，宜乎轻变重而重则亡。
发自肺经，相连脾脏。气热味辛，燥金受克；形寒饮冷，华盖先伤。浩饮则水来侮土，而成泄痢；过食则脾

朴腹皮而消胀。望月砂退翳有准，穿山甲折毒无双。枳实麦芽山楂子，消宿食而克化，大黄干葛地骨皮，解余

真诠，非其人而不授；宣肺腑之秘奥，牢记诵而莫忘。
凡是沸水或火焰造成的烫伤，在刚发生时，立即将食盐研磨成粉末，用米醋调匀后敷在患处，频繁涂抹不间断。虽然临时会有疼痛感，但能保护内部组织不致受损，然后再用药敷贴。切不可用冷物按压、冷水冲洗，以及用凉性药物敷贴。我常常见到有人用冷水冲击伤口，导致热气无法排出，必然造成热毒内攻而无法救治，务必谨慎！
凡是沸水或火焰造成的烫伤，如果患者神志昏迷、不省人事，紧急时用蜂蜜调和汤药灌服。如果病情严重，紧急时将煮好的熟酒几十壶倒入浴盆中，让患儿浸泡在酒中，即使是极严重的情况也不会死亡。
女儿被火烧伤到手，甚至到了手掌，立即用一升多的酸醋浸泡。取出后虽然还痛，但过一会儿疼痛停止，不会生疮、化脓或留疤痕。这是奇妙的方子。
治疗沸水或火焰造成的烫伤，长期有效验方的，凡是烫伤溃烂，皮已脱落，只有鲜红的肉露出来，或者腐烂发臭不堪，各种药物都治不好的，用一篮猪毛，在破锅炭火中烧至通红，放入猪毛在内煅烧，不久猪毛消化变成黑液，取起冷却定形，稍微加入几钱大黄，共同研成细末，再加入一分冰片，研匀，香油、茶油、蜡烛油，都可以用来调搽。
这是极其神奇灵验的方子。

Whenever scalds or burns occur, immediately grind salt into powder, mix it evenly with rice vinegar, and apply it to the affected area. Apply frequently without interruption. Although there may be temporary pain, it protects the internal tissues from damage, after which medicinal applications can be used. Do not use cold objects to press, cold water to wash, or cooling herbs to apply. I often see cases where people use cold water to shock the wound, preventing heat from escaping, which inevitably leads to internal attack by heat toxin that cannot be saved. Be extremely cautious!
For scalds or burns where the patient is unconscious and unresponsive, urgently administer honey mixed with decoction orally. If the condition is severe, urgently pour dozens of pots of well-cooked wine into a bathtub and immerse the child in the wine; even in the most severe cases, death can be avoided.
If a daughter is burned on her hand up to the palm, immediately soak it in more than one sheng (approx. 1 liter) of sour vinegar. After removing from the vinegar, although there is still pain, the pain stops after a short while, without forming sores, pus, or scars. This is a miraculous prescription.
For treating scalds or burns with long-term efficacy, especially when the skin has peeled off revealing fresh meat, or when it is foul and rotting beyond treatment by other medicines, take a basket of pig hair, burn it red-hot in charcoal fire from a broken pot, place the pig hair inside to smolder until it digests into a black liquid. Remove and let cool, add a few qian (approx. 3-5 grams) of Dahuang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma), grind together into fine powder, then add one fen (approx. 0.3 grams) of Bingpian (Borneolum Syntheticum), grind evenly. Sesame oil, tea oil, and candle wax oil can all be used for application.
This is an extremely magical and effective prescription.
For injuries caused by gunpowder explosions, first wash thoroughly with good wine, then render egg yolks into oil for future use. Grind Dahuang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma) into powder and mix with egg yolk oil for application; this will lead to recovery.
Varicella (smallpox) originates from fetal toxicity, commonly known as "Heavenly Sore." Transmission is due to external pathogenic factors, with severity surpassing internal injury. Initially affecting the Taiyang channel (Taiyang Channel Disease), Ren Water overcomes Bing Fire; subsequently returning to the Yangming channel, blood and water transform into pus and plasma. What is pleasing is red, vibrant, and moist appearance; what is feared is black depression and scorched yellow color. The situation is urgent like fire on eyebrows, changing rapidly like flipping a palm. Skin rots and smells foul, Qi and Blood are deficient. It is like saving a fire: is it better to move the firewood beforehand or wait until eyebrows are burnt? It is like rescuing someone drowning: is it better to loosen clothes beforehand or wait until they fall into the well? Tracing back to the origin of creation, harmony arises from the interaction of Yin and Yang. When desire moves recklessly, fetal toxicity flares up causing disaster. Cries suddenly erupt, hiding deep toxicity. Mingmen (Gate of Life) nourishes fire, Bao Hu (Uterus/Bladder) collects and melts. Waiting for seasonal epidemics, stirring the five Zang organs' coverings. Ying Qi (Nutritive Qi) reverses at the Cou Li (interstices), evil blood erupts in the Bladder. Two fires fan each other, the Four Elements form sores. Light toxicity manifests mildly, requiring careful nursing; heavy toxicity manifests densely, requiring urgent vigilance. Regarding the shifting of luck and cycles, it lies in overcoming and restoring, rising and falling. Seasonal anomalies are nothing but changes in cold, heat, warmth, and coolness. If Yin and Yang violate reason, becoming abnormal climate. Five Elements stagnate and disasters appear, Nine Luminaries block and changes manifest. Pestilential Qi spreads widely, regardless of city or village; evil toxins transmit contagiously,不分 commoners or kings. This does not show in pulse diagnosis, but relies on controlling hyperactivity. Dispersing pathogens beforehand yields eight or nine successes; handling matters temporarily seems ordinary.
Generally, Qi movement precedes the year, varicella belongs to Yang. Spring and summer are favorable, enjoying growth; autumn and winter are adverse, disliking storage. Violent cold fears pathogen entrapment; violent heat worries about open pores. Spring eruptions untreated, summer black depressions seen as calamity. Autumn spots are truly bad, winter rashes are not auspicious. This violates the commands of the four seasons; do not boast of prescriptions passed down for three generations.
Moreover, symptoms vary greatly, organ states differ. Liver governs tears and water blisters; Lung governs nasal discharge and pus/plasma. Heart spots are bright red; Spleen rashes are red-yellow. Only the Kidney channel has no specific signs, only turning black causes obstruction. Thus, observing external signs allows distinguishing internal Zang organs. Yawning and sudden stuffiness stem from Liver Wood; coughing and sneezing relate to Lung Metal. Cold hands and feet with drowsiness indicate Spleen Earth trapped in the center; red face and eyes with palpitations indicate Heart Fire blazing above the diaphragm. Ears belong to the Kidney, warm as usual. Heat in two places indicates extreme lower fire leading to death; cold limbs indicate central Earth failure leading to collapse.
First divide by location, then observe omens. Yangming distributes in the middle of the face, Taiyang travels on the head. Heart and Lung occupy the chest and diaphragm essentials, Liver and Gallbladder govern the sides of ribs and armpits. Hands and feet are managed by Spleen and Stomach, waist and back are unified by the Bladder. Diarrhea indicates pathogen excess below, vomiting indicates pathogen excess above. Qi rebellion with dull abdominal pain, deep toxin with severe lower back pain. Excessive Heart heat causes convulsions, Stomach pathogen excess causes mania. Dry nose and throat, Lung suffers fire toxin depleting fluids; hard stool and difficult urination, Kidney suffers fire prosperity consuming essence. Weak Qi reducing appetite cannot bear the toxin; strong Spirit eating normally maintains regularity.
To decide severity, observe fever; to predict smoothness or adversity, recognize the sores. Heavy toxin makes body like burning fire, light heat makes body cool. Originating from Lung channel, connected to Spleen organ. Qi hot, flavor pungent, Dry Metal overcome; shape cold, drink cold, Hua Gai (Lung) injured first. Drinking excessively causes Water insulting Earth, resulting in diarrhea/dysentery; overeating causes Spleen failing to transform, resulting in bloating/fullness. Skin/hair damaged, muscles deficient. Late eruption not robust, late resolution forming pus sores. Light drags on days, heavy weeps sending off to Xiaomang Mountain. Foolish men do not understand, causing premature death. Not believing in doctors but praying to gods/spirits, killing animals in vain crying to heaven.
Medicine values hitting the disease, doctors do not stick rigidly to formulas. Those liking warm tonification often cite Wenshan; those using only cooling purgatives follow Zhongyang. Value treating according to person and timing. Righteous Qi first, beware opening door to invite thieves; detoxifying urgently, do not view tigers as wild wolves. Beginning and end should not use sweating/purging, rigidity of method; urgency and slowness have their own appropriateness, routine of treatment. Those bound by rules are like waiting for rabbits by a stump; those confused by formula books are like losing sheep on many paths.

Should subdue without punishing the innocent, preserve peace and live ten thousand years.

Merely self-adhering and insisting,反而 causing evil and seeing disaster.
