和平，大抵黄 补表气，龙眼肉补肝血，以玉竹为君者，玉竹有黄老之名，久服可仙，本草
称其益气生津，功能不减人参，惟须多多益善耳。于足下体质，洵属有益之至，惟鄙见欲其
速效，若再加入熟地一斤，当归一斤，川续断一斤，于筋骨更有裨益，合否乞酌之。
肝痛已瘥，左脉尚弦数，述患经一年，曾经期至如崩，现尚早而如崩，腹中痛而胀，口
渴，是可知其血之热而不摄。

药，小溲清长，其病自愈矣。又脉沉大而滞，是湿体之象，数属化热，而大属阳脉，于病不
悖，若小溲一长，其从无汗泄者，即可得汗而解。

【医案六】
所谓刀谱中的一方，使用玉竹、黄芪、龙眼肉熬膏，代替蜂蜜制成丸药，用于强壮筋骨、补益气血。观察这些药品性质平和，大致黄芪补表气，龙眼肉补肝血。以玉竹为君药，因为玉竹有“黄老”之名，久服可成仙，本草称其益气生津，功效不亚于人参，只是多多益善罢了。对于您的体质，确实非常有益。但我个人见解，若想求速效，若再加入熟地一斤，当归一斤，川续断一斤，对筋骨更有裨益，是否合适请您斟酌。
【医案七】
肝痛已经痊愈，左脉仍然弦数。叙述患病一年，曾经月经来潮如崩漏状，现在月经提前且量多如崩，腹中疼痛且胀满，口渴。由此可知其血分有热而不能固摄血液。

The formula mentioned in the "Knife Manual" uses Polygonatum Rhizome, Astragalus Root, and Longan Aril boiled into a paste, formed into pills with honey, intended to strengthen sinews and bones and tonify Qi and Blood. Observing these herbs are mild in nature: Astragalus tonifies exterior Qi, Longan Aril nourishes Liver Blood. Polygonatum Rhizome is the sovereign herb; it has the name "Huang Lao," and long-term use was said to lead to immortality. Materia Medica states it tonifies Qi and generates fluids, with efficacy comparable to Ginseng, though more is better. For your constitution, it is indeed highly beneficial. However, my humble opinion is that if rapid effect is desired, adding one jin of Prepared Rehmannia Root, one jin of Angelica Sinensis, and one jin of Dipsacus Root would further benefit the sinews and bones. Please consider this.
