阴症危急 鸡蛋十数枚煮百滚，蛋头少去壳，对脐口掩上，蛋冷即换热者，蛋完即愈。其蛋即黑色，不可食。
治病时，蛋切不可着阴人手。（《同寿 》）
一方，用葱白一大握，如茶盏大，用纸卷紧，却以快刀切齐，一片如指浓，安于脐上，以热熨斗熨之，待汗出为度

阴症阴茎缩入体内：必须让人按住固定，急忙将艾绒做成如绿豆大小的艾炷，在龟头和马口（尿道口）各灸一壮，阴茎即可伸出。（出自《救急方》）

Yin Syndrome: This condition is characterized by cold limbs, cyanosis of the fingernails, lips, and tongue, and coma with unconsciousness. The treatment involves steaming a ring made of wheat flour and placing it on the umbilicus (Shenque, CV8). Then, five or six hard-boiled eggs, peeled, are placed upright within the ring. A fine silver hairpin is inserted into an egg; after some time, it is withdrawn, and both the hairpin and the egg are replaced. This process continues until the silver hairpin no longer turns black upon withdrawal. (From *Chuan Jiabao*)
Yin Syndrome Abdominal Pain: Take Mingfan (Alumen), Huoxiao (Saltpeter), Hujiao (Black Pepper) (each 1 qian), and Zhen Huangdan (Litharge) (0.8 qian). Grind them into a fine powder and form pills using aged vinegar. Hold the pill in the left palm for men and the right palm for women, securing it with cloth bandages. Recovery occurs when sweating ensues. (From *Qifang Leibian*)
Another prescription: Use Shexiang (Musk) (0.2 fen), insert it into the umbilicus, cover with cloth, and apply heat using a tin pot filled with hot water. Immediate effect is observed. (Ibid.)
Yin Syndrome Hiccup: Burn Ruxiang (Frankincense) together with Liuhuang (Sulfur) and inhale the smoke. (From *Shanghan Yunyao*)
Yin Syndrome Retraction of the Penis: It is necessary to have someone hold the penis firmly in place. Quickly apply moxa cones the size of mung beans, one application at the glans penis and one at the maokou (urethral meatus). The penis will then extend. (From *Jiuji Fang*)
Yin Syndrome Rectal Prolapse: Take Fulonggan (Dragon's House Earth), Bie Tou Gu (Softshell Turtle Head Bone), and Baiyaojian (Fermented Medicinal Pill). Grind them into a fine powder. For each use, take 1-2 qian, decoct strongly, wash the prolapsed area with warm Perilla Decoction, and then apply the medicine mixed with refined sesame oil to the anus. Critical Yin Syndrome: Boil more than ten eggs until rolling boil. Remove a small portion of the shell from the pointed end of the egg. Cover the umbilicus with the egg. Replace with a hot egg when the previous one cools down. The illness resolves when the eggs are exhausted. These eggs will turn black and must not be eaten. During treatment, the eggs must never touch the hands of the patient with Yin syndrome. (From *Tongshou*)
Another prescription: Take a large handful of Congbai (Scallion White), roughly the size of a tea cup. Roll it tightly in paper, cut it evenly with a sharp knife into slices as thick as a finger. Place a slice on the umbilicus and apply heat with a hot iron. Continue until sweating occurs. If one slice is ineffective, cut another and apply heat again. (Ibid.)
Another prescription: Take Mustard Seed Powder (Jiecaizi Mo), mix with fresh water to form a paste like a plaster, and apply it to the umbilicus. Effect is achieved when sweating occurs. (Ibid.)
