治妇人月水不通 用鼠屎烧灰一钱为末，热酒调下。
治妇人血气不行，上气冲心 用丝瓜蒂一个，烧灰，空心酒调，每服一个。
治妇人血崩 用槐角烧灰为末，每服二钱，酒调下，效。

治妇人六十二种风，及腹中血气刺痛 用红花二两，酒二盏,煎八分，温服。
治妇人血风攻脑，旋倒地不知人事 用苍耳草心不拘多少，阴干为末。不时姜汤服一钱，效。
治妇人脏躁，悲伤欲哭，象鬼神所附者 用小麦一升，甘草二两，大枣五两，每服一两，水二盏，煎一盏服。
治妇人自哭自笑 用红枣烧存性，米饮调下。
治妇人乳痈 用赤小豆三合，酒研烂去渣，温服留渣，敷患处。
又方 治乳痈烂见心者 用猫儿腹下毛，干锅内 存性，为末，干糁，或清油调入轻粉少许敷之。
又方 用皂荚刺烧灰，和海蛤粉为末，热酒调下。揉散亦可。
又方 用银杏半斤，四两用酒研服，四两水研敷痈上。
又方 用黄栝蒌一二个，连皮瓤子切碎，以无灰酒一碗，于瓶内煮半碗，去渣。时时温服，酒尽再煮服。初时便
服此药，实时痛止，更不成疮。如已成疮，服之，其疮自穿，而痛止。
又方 治乳上才觉硬肿作痛，以葱早熨之。其法∶用样阔口瓶，以炭火入瓶内，上以热灰填蒲瓶口，用葱叶及葱白
捶损，令遍覆瓶口。以手帕裹瓶，倒执将瓶口向肿处任意轻轻熨之，有验。
又方 治乳痈将溃 以小长罐烧纸钱在内，急以罐口安乳上，尽吸其毒瓦斯。
治妇人吹乳极效 用百齿霜（即木梳上篦头垢也），不拘多少，用无根水为丸（即吊桶反沥出者是也），如鸡头
大。日服二三丸，倒流水吞之。服后，令病患左乳者左卧，右乳者右卧，于无风温热处卧，汗出效（取倒流水法用新汲
水倾屋上接之）。
又方 以橘皮烧灰存性，食后热酒调下二钱。
治妇人乳硬作痛 用嫩桑叶，左采研细，米饮调摊纸花，贴病处。此证，四十以下可治，五十以上不可治。治之
则死，不治则得终天年。
治妇人乳头裂 取秋后冷露茄子裂开者，阴干烧存性，为末。水调服，未秋时但裂开者亦可。
治妇人血块痛 用牛膝草根，酒煮服，效。
治妇人癖块 用小便服之，每日温服一盏，至二十日血片下，即瘥。
又方 醋煎大黄，生者服之，甚效。
治孕妇咳嗽 用贝母去心，麸皮炒，令黄，去麸皮，为末。研砂糖拌匀，丸如鸡头大，含化一丸，神效。
治妇人胎漏 用葱白一把，浓煮汁饮之，甚效。
治妇人胎漏下血，手足厥冷欲死 用生艾汁二盏，牛皮胶、白蜜各二两，煎一盏半。稍热服之，无生艾，浓煎干
艾。一方加刮下竹青一大把同煎。
治妇人因争斗或跌扑从高坠下，或为重物所压，触动胎气，腹痛下血。服此后觉胎动极热，胎气已安，用缩砂不拘
多少，于熨斗内炒令热透，去皮取仁，研为末。每服二钱，热酒调下，不饮酒煎艾盐汤或米饮下。

治孕妇忽腹绞痛 用枣子十四枚，烧焦为末，童便调服。

治孕妇儿在腹中哭 用多年空屋下鼠穴中土一块，令孕妇噙之即住。一方川黄连煎汁，令母呷之。
治妇人胎前产后赤白痢 用败龟板一个，醋炙，捣为末。米饮调下。
又方 用生姜自然汁，年少者十两，老者二十两，鸭子二个，打碎入姜汁内搅匀，煎至八分，入蒲黄三钱，煎五七
沸，空心温服。效。
又方 治怀胎下赤白痢，绞刺疼痛 用鸡子一个，乌者尤妙，梢头作一窍子，倾出青者留黄在内。黄丹一钱，入前
鸡子壳内，打令相匀，以浓纸裹黄泥固住，火上炙熟焙干为末。每服二钱，米饮调下，一服愈者是男，两服愈者是女。
奇效。
治妇人难产或横生，或孕妇下血或胀满，用铁秤锤烧赤，投酒中饮之。
又方 治难产 用清油一盏，水一盏，对和。用银簪打和饮之。

烧存性，共为末。每服三钱，水半钟，煎服。约人行五里，生胎死胎俱下。无自死龟壳，用钻过废壳亦可。
又方 应急催生 用清油同蜜等分，少许汤调顿服。
又 蜀葵子炒为末，顺流水温暖调服，亦下死胎。
又 好京墨新汲水浓磨，服之，墨水裹儿出，效。
又 败笔头二个，烧灰，以藕节研自然汁温酒调下，效。
又 产妇坐草时，取路旁草鞋一只，用鼻络小耳绳烧灰，温酒调服。如得左足者男，右足者女，覆者儿死，侧者
儿惊，催生极验。

又方 治难产久气力乏不能生，兼恶露尽出干不能产者 用赤小豆二升，以水九升，煮熟取汁，入泡过明阿胶一
两，同煎少时，一服。如未效，再服。不过三四服，即产。
治妇人逆生倒产 用蓖麻子三十粒，研烂。妇人顶上剃去发，少涂之。须臾，觉腹中提正便刮去，却于脚心涂之，
自然顺生。
又方 治逆生，须臾不救母子俱亡 用蛇蜕一条，蝉蜕十四个，头发一握，并烧为灰。每服二钱，温酒调，并进二
服。仰卧，霎时儿即顺生。
又方 用小绢针，于儿脚心刺三五七刺，用盐少许，擦刺处，实时顺生，母子俱活。
又方 用槐子二七粒，井花水吞下。
又方 治横逆不顺手足先出，或子死腹中 用灶中心对锅底土，细研。每服一钱，酒调下。儿头戴出，妙。更用搽
产母脐中，亦妙。或用菟丝子末、车前子，米酒调下。
又方 治横生逆产，诸药不救，但灸右脚小指尖头二壮，艾壮如小麦大，下火，立产。
治子死腹中，口中屎臭，舌青，口出冷气，指甲青 用栝蒌根为末，逆流水调五钱服。
又方 用灶中心对锅底土三钱，水调下。又治产后恶物不下，上攻心痛。
又方 先用平胃散一帖，作两服。每服酒水各一钟，同煎至一钟，却投朴硝半两，研细。再煎三五沸，倾出，候微
温，服尽。其胎即化血水而下。
又方 下死胎 用麝香半钱另研，官桂末三钱和匀，作一服，温酒调下。须臾，如手推下。未效，再服。
又方 治子死胎不下，胞破不生 用鬼臼不拘多少，黄色者去毛，研为末，细如粉，不用罗，以指捻之。每服二
钱，用无灰酒一盏，同煎至八分，通口服，立生如神。
又方 治难产胞衣不下，及儿死腹中欲绝者 用白蔹、半夏各一两，为末。酒服一钱。若难产，只一服，横生二
服，倒则三服，儿死四服，效。
治产妇胞衣不下 用蓖麻子十四粒，去壳捣烂，以白面和成膏，贴脚心，胞衣下，速拭洗去。如肠出，即以此药涂
顶心，回肠神效。
又方 治胎衣不下，恶血凑心，其证心头迷闷，胎衣上逆冲心，须臾不治，其母即亡。用干漆五钱（为末），大附
子一枚（泡去皮脐为末），用大黄末五钱，酒醋熬干，即入前二味为丸，如梧桐子大。每服三十丸，淡醋汤吞下。须
臾，又进二服，胎衣立下，此药可予先合下。
又方 用赤小豆一升炒过，用水三升，煮二升，去豆取汁，温服胎衣立下。
又方 用妇人自己手足指甲，烧灰，酒调服。须臾又进一服，更令有力妇人抱起，将竹筒于心上赶下，妙。
治产后血晕心闷气绝，腹内恶血不尽，绞痛 用红花酒煎服，或以藕汁二碗饮之。
又方 用松烟墨二钱，火 通红，窨灭火气，为末半匕。温酒调下，京墨亦可。
又方 用旧漆器烧微烟，逼面熏之。
又方 用韭菜切碎，入茶瓶中，以老米醋沸热浇之，纸密封瓶口，勿令泄气。以瓶小嘴向产妇口鼻熏之，立醒。
又方 用半夏末少许，吹入鼻中。
治产后下血不止 用杂草烧镬锈二钱，为末，酒调服。
又方 用干艾半两 生姜半两 浓煎汤服。
治产后子肠出不能收者 用枳壳去瓤三两，煎汤温浸良久即入。
又方 用老鸦酸浆草一把，煎汤才熏可收一半。稍温下手洗，并收而安。
治产后恶物不出，上攻心痛 用灶中心对锅底焦土。研细酒调三五钱，泻出恶物，立效。
治产后泄泻恶露不下 用大荆芥四五穗于盏内，用火烧成灰，不得犯油火，入麝香少许，研。沸汤一二呷调下。
治产后腹胀痛不可忍，煮鼠粘根为饮，一服愈。
治乳妇乳汁不下 用母猪蹄爪一只，带葱五茎，同盐酒煮羹饮之。不下再煮饮。仍用梳头木梳于乳上梳下，效。
又方 用土瓜根为末，酒调服。
又方 用胡蜂窠一个，炒为末，酒调服。
治胎前产后诸症名济阴返魂丹，一名益母丸 只益母草一味，其草即茺蔚子，其叶类火麻，对节而生，方梗凹面。
四五六月间，节节开紫花，南北随处有之。此草生二种，白花者不是。于端午、小暑或六月六日，花正开时连根收采，
透风处阴干，用时不犯铜铁器，以石臼捣，罗为细末。每服一丸，各照后开汤使下，若量加木香、全当归、赤芍药尤
妙。其药不限丸数，以病愈为度。日服三五丸，或丸如梧桐子大。每服五七十丸，熬膏尤佳，治法具后。熬膏法∶益母
草不限多少，根据前法采，连根叶茎洗净，用石臼内捣烂，以麻布滤取浓汁，入砂锅内，以文武火熬成膏，如黑砂糖色为
度，入瓷罐内收贮。每服用一茶匕，极妙。
胎前脐腹刺痛，胎动不安，下血不止，水煎秦艽、糯米汤下，或当归汤亦可。
胎前产后脐腹作痛作声，或寒热往来状如疟疾者，俱温米汤下。
临产并产后各先用一丸，童便、酒化下。安魂定魄，血气自然调顺，诸病不生；又能破血痛，养脉息，调经络，功
效不能尽述。
产后胎衣不下落，在胞中，及产前一切产难横生不顺，子死经日不下，胀满腹中，心闷心痛，炒盐汤下。
产后中风牙关紧急，半身不遂，失音不语。童便、无灰酒各半下。
产后气喘咳嗽，胸膈不利，恶心、口吐酸水，面目浮肿，两胁疼痛，举动失力者，温酒下。
产后两太阳穴痛，呵欠心恤气短，肌体羸瘦，不思饮食，血风身热，手足顽麻，百节疼痛。温米汤饮下。
产后眼前黑暗，血晕血热，口渴烦闷，如见鬼神，狂言不省人事，薄荷自然汁下。如无生者，浓煎干薄荷汤下，或
童便、酒各半下。
产后面垢颜赤，五心烦热，或结成血块、腹脐奔痛，时发寒有冷汗者，童便、酒各半下，或温薄荷汤下。
产后余血恶不尽，结滞腹脐刺痛，恶物上冲，心胸满闷，童便、温酒各半下。
产后未经盈月，血气不通，咳嗽，四肢无力，临睡自汗不止，月水不调，久而不治，则为骨蒸之疾，童便、酒各半
下。
产后鼻衄、口干、舌黑，童便、酒下。
产后大小便不通，烦躁口苦者，薄荷自然汁下。如无生者，浓煎干薄荷汤下。
产后痢疾，米汤下。
产后泻血水，煎枣汤下。
产后赤白带下，煎胶艾汤下。
血崩漏下，糯米汤下。
勒奶痛或成痈，为末，水调涂乳上，一宿自瘥。或生捣烂敷上亦可。
妇人久无子息，温酒下，一九服至一月，决有效验。
治疗妇女月经闭止不通：用鼠屎烧成灰，取一钱研为细末，用热酒调服。
治疗妇女气血运行不畅，气逆上冲心胸：用一个丝瓜蒂，烧成灰，空腹时用酒调服，每次服用一个的量。

又一方：用盐梅七个，烧成细末，空腹时用米饮（米汤）送服。
又一方：用陈年槐花一两，杂草烧成的锅锈半两，研为细末，用烧红的秤锤投入酒中淬火后送服。
又一方：治疗血崩不止：用白扁豆花焙干研为细末，紫色的不用，用炒米煮汤，加入少许炒盐，空腹多次服用，立即见效。
又一方：用棕榈皮、丝瓜蒂烧成灰，等分研为细末。用盐水或盐汤送服。有效。

治疗妇女白带下注：用好酒与艾叶，数量不限，煮鸡蛋至熟，空腹只吃鸡蛋。
治疗妇女赤白带下（带下色红白相间）：用酸石榴五个，连皮捣碎取汁。每次服用半盏，空腹服用。
又一方：用石榴树向东生长的根二把，煮汁服用。
治疗妇女感受六十二种风邪，以及腹中气血刺痛：用红花二两，酒二盏，煎至八分满，温服。
治疗妇女血风攻脑，突然倒地不知人事：用苍耳草心，数量不限，阴干后研为细末。随时用姜汤送服一钱，有效。
治疗妇女脏躁症，悲伤想哭，像被鬼神附身一样：用小麦一升，甘草二两，大枣五两，每次服用一两的药量，加水二盏，煎至一盏服用。
治疗妇女乳痈（急性乳腺炎）：用赤小豆三合，用酒研磨烂后去渣，温服药液，将药渣敷在患处。
又一方：治疗乳痈溃烂见心的：用猫肚子下的毛，在干锅内烧至存性，研为细末，干撒在伤口上，或者用清油调入少许轻粉敷之。
又一方：用皂荚刺烧成灰，和海蛤粉研为细末，用热酒调服。揉散也可以。
又一方：用银杏半斤，四两用酒研磨服用，另外四两用水研磨敷在痈肿上。
又一方：用黄栝蒌一到两个，连皮瓤子切碎，用无灰酒一碗，在瓶内煮至半碗，去渣。时时温服，酒喝完再煮服。起初就服用此药，疼痛立即停止，甚至不会形成疮疡。如果已经形成疮疡，服用后，疮口会自行破溃，疼痛停止。
又一方：治疗乳房刚开始感觉硬肿作痛，用葱早晨熨烫。方法：用口径合适的瓶子，将炭火放入瓶内，上面用热灰填满瓶口，将葱叶及葱白捶打损伤，使其遍布覆盖瓶口。用手帕包裹瓶子，倒持将瓶口对着肿胀处轻轻熨烫，有疗效。
又一方：治疗乳痈即将化脓：用小长罐在内部烧纸钱，急忙将罐口按在乳房上，吸尽其中的毒瓦斯。
治疗妇女吹乳（哺乳期乳腺炎）极效：用百齿霜（即木梳上篦下来的污垢），数量不限，用无根水（雨水）做成丸剂（如鸡头大小）。每天服用二三丸，用倒流水吞服。服药后，让患左乳者左侧卧，患右乳者右侧卧，在无风温热处躺卧，出汗则有效。（取倒流水的方法是用新汲的水泼到屋顶上接住）。
又一方：用橘皮烧至存性，饭后用热酒调服二钱。
治疗妇女乳房硬结作痛：用嫩桑叶，从左边采摘后研细，用米饮调匀摊在纸花上，贴在病处。此证，四十岁以下可治，五十岁以上不可治。治疗则会死亡，不治疗则可终其天年。
治疗妇女乳头裂开：取秋天后的冷露茄子裂开的，阴干烧至存性，研为细末。用水调服，未到秋天但裂开的也可以使用。
治疗妇女癖块（腹部积块）：用小便服用，每天温服一盏，到二十天排出血片，即痊愈。
治疗孕妇咳嗽：用贝母去心，用麸皮炒至黄色，去掉麸皮，研为细末。研入砂糖拌匀，做成如鸡头大的丸剂，含化一丸，神效。
治疗妇女胎漏（妊娠期阴道少量出血）：用葱白一把，浓煮汁饮用，很有效。
治疗妇女胎漏下血，手足厥冷欲死：用生艾汁二盏，牛皮胶、白蜜各二两，煎至一盏半。稍热时服用，如果没有生艾，可用浓煎干艾。另一方案加刮下的竹青一大把同煎。

又一方：治疗怀孕下赤白痢，绞刺疼痛：用鸡蛋一个，黑色的尤其好，梢头钻一个小孔，倒出蛋清留蛋黄在内。加入黄丹一钱，放入前鸡蛋壳内，打匀，用厚纸裹黄泥封固，火上烤熟焙干研为细末。每次服用二钱，米饮调服，服一次愈者是男婴，服两次愈者是女婴。奇效。
治疗妇女难产或横位，或孕妇下血或胀满：用铁秤锤烧红，投入酒中饮用。

又方：治难产胞衣不下，及儿死腹中欲绝者：用白蔹、半夏各一两，为末。酒服一钱。若难产，只一服，横生二服，倒则三服，儿死四服，效。
治产妇胞衣不下：用蓖麻子十四粒，去壳捣烂，以白面和成膏，贴脚心，胞衣下，速拭洗去。如肠出，即以此药涂顶心，回肠神效。
又方：治胎衣不下，恶血凑心，其证心头迷闷，胎衣上逆冲心，须臾不治，其母即亡。用干漆五钱（为末），大附子一枚（泡去皮脐为末），用大黄末五钱，酒醋熬干，即入前二味为丸，如梧桐子大。每服三十丸，淡醋汤吞下。须臾，又进二服，胎衣立下，此药可予先合下。
又方：用赤小豆一升炒过，用水三升，煮二升，去豆取汁，温服胎衣立下。
又方：用妇人自己手足指甲，烧灰，酒调服。须臾又进一服，更令有力妇人抱起，将竹筒于心上赶下，妙。
治产后血晕心闷气绝，腹内恶血不尽，绞痛：用红花酒煎服，或以藕汁二碗饮之。
又方：用松烟墨二钱，火通红，窨灭火气，为末半匕。温酒调下，京墨亦可。
又方：用旧漆器烧微烟，逼面熏之。
又方：用韭菜切碎，入茶瓶中，以老米醋沸热浇之，纸密封瓶口，勿令泄气。以瓶小嘴向产妇口鼻熏之，立醒。
又方：用半夏末少许，吹入鼻中。
又方：用老鸦酸浆草一把，煎汤才熏可收一半。稍温下手洗，并收而安。
治产后恶物不出，上攻心痛：用灶中心对锅底焦土。研细酒调三五钱，泻出恶物，立效。
治产后泄泻恶露不下：用大荆芥四五穗于盏内，用火烧成灰，不得犯油火，入麝香少许，研。沸汤一二呷调下。
治乳妇乳汁不下：用母猪蹄爪一只，带葱五茎，同盐酒煮羹饮之。不下再煮饮。仍用梳头木梳于乳上梳下，效。
又方：用土瓜根为末，酒调服。
治胎前产后诸症名济阴返魂丹，一名益母丸：只益母草一味，其草即茺蔚子，其叶类火麻，对节而生，方梗凹面。四五六月间，节节开紫花，南北随处有之。此草生二种，白花者不是。于端午、小暑或六月六日，花正开时连根收采，透风处阴干，用时不犯铜铁器，以石臼捣，罗为细末。每服一丸，各照后开汤使下，若量加木香、全当归、赤芍药尤妙。其药不限丸数，以病愈为度。日服三五丸，或丸如梧桐子大。每服五七十丸，熬膏尤佳，治法具后。熬膏法：益母草不限多少，根据前法采，连根叶茎洗净，用石臼内捣烂，以麻布滤取浓汁，入砂锅内，以文武火熬成膏，如黑砂糖色为度，入瓷罐内收贮。每服用一茶匕，极妙。
胎前脐腹刺痛，胎动不安，下血不止，水煎秦艽、糯米汤下，或当归汤亦可。
胎前产后脐腹作痛作声，或寒热往来状如疟疾者，俱温米汤下。
临产并产后各先用一丸，童便、酒化下。安魂定魄，血气自然调顺，诸病不生；又能破血痛，养脉息，调经络，功效不能尽述。
产后胎衣不下落，在胞中，及产前一切产难横生不顺，子死经日不下，胀满腹中，心闷心痛，炒盐汤下。
产后气喘咳嗽，胸膈不利，恶心、口吐酸水，面目浮肿，两胁疼痛，举动失力者，温酒下。
产后两太阳穴痛，呵欠心恤气短，肌体羸瘦，不思饮食，血风身热，手足顽麻，百节疼痛。温米汤饮下。
产后眼前黑暗，血晕血热，口渴烦闷，如见鬼神，狂言不省人事，薄荷自然汁下。如无生者，浓煎干薄荷汤下，或童便、酒各半下。
产后面垢颜赤，五心烦热，或结成血块、腹脐奔痛，时发寒有冷汗者，童便、酒各半下，或温薄荷汤下。
产后余血恶不尽，结滞腹脐刺痛，恶物上冲，心胸满闷，童便、温酒各半下。
产后未经盈月，血气不通，咳嗽，四肢无力，临睡自汗不止，月水不调，久而不治，则为骨蒸之疾，童便、酒各半下。
产后大小便不通，烦躁口苦者，薄荷自然汁下。如无生者，浓煎干薄荷汤下。
产后痢疾，米汤下。
勒奶痛或成痈，为末，水调涂乳上，一宿自瘥。或生捣烂敷上亦可。
妇人久无子息，温酒下，一九服至一月，决有效验。
Treats amenorrhea (absence of menstruation) in women: Use one qian of rat feces burned to ash, ground into fine powder, mixed with hot wine and taken orally.
Treats stagnation of Qi and Blood in women with rebellious Qi rushing to the heart and chest: Use one dried stem of luffa fruit, burned to ash, taken on an empty stomach with wine; each dose corresponds to one stem.
Treats metrorrhagia (profuse vaginal bleeding) in women: Burn Sophora japonica fruit (Huaijiao) to ash, grind into powder, take two qian per dose mixed with wine; effective.
Another prescription: Use silkworm frass (Cansha), quantity unrestricted, grind into powder. Take five qian per dose mixed with hot wine.
Another prescription: Treats persistent metrorrhagia: Use two liang of Sophora japonica flowers (Huaihua) and five qian of burnt palm fiber (Zongmao), decoct in water, add a little salt, and take on an empty stomach. Alternatively, burn Chinese plum (Wumei) to ash and swallow with Wumei decoction.
Another prescription: Burn lotus pod shell (Lianpengke) until it retains its properties (cun xing), and take with wine using a fang cun bi (ancient measure, approx. one small spoon).
Another prescription: Grind Xuxiecao (Blood Scorpion Grass) into powder, mix with ginger juice and wine, take once for cure. Xuxiecao grows in brick crevices or wellheads, rarely on the ground.
Another prescription: Burn seven salted plums (Yanmei) to powder, take on an empty stomach with rice drink (Mi Yin).
Another prescription: Use one liang of aged Sophora japonica flowers (Chen Huaihua) and half a liang of rust from a cooking pot (Ca Za Guo Xiu), grind into powder. Quench a red-hot steelyard weight in wine and take the mixture with this wine.
Another prescription: Treats persistent metrorrhagia: Bake white hyacinth bean flowers (Bai Biandou Hua) until dry, grind into powder (exclude purple ones). Decoct fried rice in water, add a little fried salt, and take multiple doses on an empty stomach for immediate effect.
Another prescription: Burn palm bark (Zonglupi) and dried luffa stems (Sigua Di) to ash, mix in equal parts, and grind into powder. Take with salt water or salt broth. Effective.
Another prescription: Treats metrorrhagia: Extract root juice of wild safflower (Yeh Honghua), wash clean, grind to extract half a zhan of juice, mix with half a zhan of warm wine and take; stops bleeding immediately.
Treats leukorrhea (vaginal discharge) in women: Boil fresh mugwort leaves (Aiye) in good wine (quantity unrestricted) with chicken eggs until cooked. Eat only the eggs on an empty stomach.
Treats red and white leukorrhea: Crush five sour pomegranates (Suan Shiliu) with peel to extract juice. Take half a zhan per dose on an empty stomach.
Another prescription: Decoct two handfuls of the east-growing roots of pomegranate tree (Shiliu Dongyin Gen) and take the juice.
Treats women affected by sixty-two types of wind pathogens, and stabbing pain in the abdomen due to Qi and Blood stagnation: Decoct two liang of safflower (Honghua) in two zhan of wine until reduced to eight-tenths, take warm.
Treats blood-wind attacking the brain causing sudden collapse and unconsciousness: Dry the hearts of cocklebur herbs (Canger Caoxin) in shade, grind into powder. Take one qian with ginger tea as needed; effective.
Treats Zang Zao syndrome (visceral agitation) in women, characterized by sorrowful weeping as if possessed by spirits: Decoct one sheng of wheat (Xiaomai), two liang of licorice root (Gancao), and five liang of jujube (Dazao) in water. Take one liang of the herb mixture per dose, decocted in two zhan of water down to one zhan.
Treats spontaneous crying and laughing in women: Burn red jujubes (Hongzao) until they retain their properties, mix with rice drink and take.
Treats breast abscess (Ruyong): Grind three he of adzuki beans (Chixiaodou) in wine until paste-like, strain off residue. Drink the liquid warm and apply the residue topically to the affected area.
Another prescription: Treats ruptured breast abscess exposing tissue: Burn hair from under a cat's belly in a dry pan until it retains its properties, grind into powder. Apply dry powder to the wound, or mix with clear oil and a little calomel (Qingfen) for topical application.
Another prescription: Burn soap bean thorns (Zaojia Ci) to ash, mix with clam shell powder (Hai Ge Fen), and take mixed with hot wine. Massaging to disperse is also acceptable.
Another prescription: Use half a jin of ginkgo nuts (Yinxing). Grind four liang in wine for oral consumption; use the remaining four liang ground in water to apply topically on the abscess.
Another prescription: Use one or two yellow melon roots (Huang Gualou), chop including peel and pulp. Decoct in one bowl of non-fermented wine in a bottle until reduced to half a bowl, strain. Take warm frequently. Re-boil when finished. If taken early, pain stops immediately and no ulcer forms. If an ulcer has formed, taking it causes the ulcer to drain and pain to cease.
Another prescription: For early-stage breast swelling and pain: Steam with green onions in the morning. Method: Place charcoal fire inside a wide-mouthed bottle, fill the mouth with hot ash. Pound green onion leaves and whites to flatten them, covering the bottle mouth. Wrap the bottle in a handkerchief, invert, and gently steam the swollen area against the bottle mouth; effective.
Another prescription: For impending rupture of breast abscess: Burn paper money in a small long jar, quickly place the jar mouth over the breast to suction out toxic vapors.
Treats lactational mastitis (Chui Ru) with high efficacy: Use Baichi Shuang (dirt from comb teeth), quantity unrestricted, form pills with unrooted water (rainwater) sized like a quail egg. Swallow two to three pills daily with "reverse flowing water" (water collected from roofs). After medication, lie on the left side if the left breast is affected, right side if the right, in a warm, draft-free place until sweating occurs; effective. (Method for obtaining reverse flowing water: pour newly drawn water onto the roof and collect it.)
Another prescription: Burn tangerine peel (Jupi) until it retains its properties, take two qian mixed with hot wine after meals.
Treats hard, painful breasts in women: Pick tender mulberry leaves (Sangye) from the left side, grind finely, mix with rice drink, spread on paper flower shapes, and apply to the lesion. This condition is treatable in women under forty; untreatable in those over fifty. Treatment may cause death, while non-treatment allows natural lifespan.
Treats cracked nipples in women: Collect split eggplants exposed to cold dew after autumn, dry in shade, burn until retaining properties, grind to powder. Mix with water for oral administration; eggplants split before autumn are also usable.
Treats abdominal pain due to blood masses in women: Decoct Achyranthes bidentata root (Niuxi Caogen) in wine and take; effective.
Treats fixed abdominal masses (Pi Kuai) in women: Drink urine, take one zhan warm daily. After twenty days, blood clots will pass, and the condition will heal.
Another prescription: Decoct rhubarb (Dahuang) in vinegar, take raw rhubarb; very effective.
Treats cough in pregnant women: Remove the heart of Fritillaria bulb (Beimu), stir-fry with bran until yellow, remove bran, grind to powder. Mix with rock sugar, form pills the size of a quail egg, suck one pill at a time; miraculous effect.
Treats threatened miscarriage (Tai Lou) in women: Decoct a bunch of scallion whites (Congbai) in thick liquid and drink; very effective.
Treats threatened miscarriage with bleeding, cold extremities, and near-death state: Decoct two zhan of fresh mugwort juice (Sheng Ai Zhi), two liang of ox hide glue (Niu Pi Jiao), and two liang of white honey until reduced to one and a half zhan. Take slightly warm. If fresh mugwort is unavailable, use strong decoction of dried mugwort. Another formula adds a large handful of scraped bamboo green (Zhu Qing) to the decoction.
Treats abdominal pain and bleeding caused by fetal disturbance due to fighting, falling from height, or heavy pressure: After taking the above medicine, if fetal movement feels extremely hot indicating stabilized fetal Qi, use Amomum fruit (Suosha). Quantity unrestricted, roast thoroughly in a heating iron, remove skin and take the kernel, grind to powder. Take two qian per dose with hot wine. Non-drinkers may use mugwort-salt decoction or rice drink.
Another prescription: Wash one bunch of ramie root (Zhu Gen), add five slices of ginger, decoct in porridge and take; effective.
Treats sudden severe abdominal cramping in pregnant women: Burn fourteen dates (Zaozi) until charred, grind to powder, mix with child's urine (Tongbian) and take.
Another prescription: Heat one he of salt until red, pinch into wine and take.
Treats fetal crying in the womb during pregnancy: Have the pregnant woman hold a piece of soil from a mouse hole in an old empty house in her mouth to stop the crying. Another prescription uses decoction of Coptis chinensis (Chuan Huanglian) for the mother to sip.
Treats red and white dysentery before and after childbirth: Roast a turtle shell (Baiguiban) with vinegar, crush to powder, take with rice drink.
Another prescription: Mix ten taels of fresh ginger juice (for young mothers) or twenty taels (for older mothers) with two beaten ducks. Decoct to eight-tenths, add three qian of Polygonum multiflorum spore powder (Puhuang), boil five to seven times, take warm on an empty stomach; effective.
Another prescription: Treats red and white dysentery with colic during pregnancy: Make a hole in the tip of one chicken egg (black-shelled is best), drain the white, keep the yolk. Add one qian of lead monoxide (Huandan) into the eggshell, mix well, seal with thick paper and yellow mud, roast over fire until dry, grind to powder. Take two qian per dose with rice drink. Cure in one dose indicates a male fetus; two doses indicates a female. Miraculous effect.
Treats difficult labor, malpresentation, vaginal bleeding, or abdominal distension in pregnant women: Red-hot an iron steelyard weight, throw into wine and drink.
Another prescription: Treats dystocia: Mix one zhan of sesame oil with one zhan of water, stir with a silver hairpin and drink.
Another prescription: Take two qian of Croton seed (Fengxianzi), crushed, swallowed with water.
Another prescription: Take two qian of Abelmoschus manihot seeds (Huangshukui Zi) together with Fengxianzi.
Another prescription: Take seventy grains of Huangshukui Zi, crushed, mixed with wine.
Another prescription: Burn half a sheet of silkworm pupal case paper (Can Tui Zhi) to ash, take with plain boiled water.
Another prescription: Mix equal parts of Angelica dahurica (Xiang Baizhi) and pot rust (Guo Xiu), grind to powder. Take two qian per dose with half a cup of child's urine and half a cup of rice vinegar. Pour boiling water to fill six or seven-tenths, use to wash eyes for rapid effect. A subsequent dose induces delivery. Alternatively, use forty-nine Huangshukui Zi seeds and three qian of talcum powder (Bai Huashi), decoct in smooth-flowing water, take on an empty stomach twice. Delivery occurs within the time it takes to walk five li.
Another prescription: Treats prolonged labor with death risk or fused pubic symphysis in short women: Mix one liang each of Ligusticum chuanxiong (Chuanxiong) and Angelica sinensis (Danggui), one self-dead dried turtle shell, and a handful of human hair (male and female), roast until retaining properties, grind to powder. Take three qian per dose, decocted in half a zhong of water. Delivery occurs within the time it takes to walk five li, whether live or dead fetus. A drilled waste shell can substitute for a self-dead one.
Another prescription: Emergency induction: Mix equal parts of sesame oil and honey, take in a small amount of warm water at once.
Another prescription: Powdered roasted Huangshukui Zi mixed with warm smooth-flowing water also expels dead fetuses.
Another prescription: Grind high-quality Beijing ink (Jing Mo) with fresh water, ingest; the ink wraps the fetus for expulsion; effective.
Another prescription: Burn two used brush heads to ash, mix with fresh juice of lotus root joint (Oujie) and warm wine; effective.
Another prescription: At onset of labor, burn a straw sandal found by the road (using ear-loop string) to ash, take with warm wine. Left foot indicates male, right foot female; upside-down indicates fetal death; sideways indicates fetal fright. Highly effective for induction.
Another prescription: Induction: Grind castor beans (Bimazi), apply to palms and soles of the parturient woman, wipe off immediately after birth. Or hold one in each hand for immediate delivery.
Another prescription: Treats exhaustion in prolonged labor with exhausted lochia preventing delivery: Decoct two sheng of adzuki beans in nine sheng of water until soft, take the juice. Add one liang of soaked gelatin (Ming Ejiao), simmer briefly, take once. Repeat if ineffective. Delivery usually occurs within three to four doses.
Treats breech presentation (Ni Sheng Dao Chan): Grind thirty castor beans into paste. Shave a small patch on the crown of the woman's head, apply paste. When abdominal tension normalizes, scrape off and apply to the soles of the feet for natural vertex presentation.
Another prescription: Treats breech presentation where delay risks maternal and fetal death: Burn one snake slough, fourteen cicada sloughs, and a handful of hair to ash. Take two qian per dose with warm wine, advance two doses. Lie supine; delivery occurs instantly.
Another prescription: Prick the sole of the fetal foot three, five, or seven times with a small silk needle, rub salt on the pricks; immediate vertex presentation occurs, saving both mother and child.
Another prescription: Swallow fourteen Sophora japonica seeds (Huai Zi) well water.
Another prescription: Treats malpresentation with limbs emerging first or intrauterine fetal death: Grind soil from the center of the hearth (dui guodi tu) finely. Take one qian with wine. Helps deliver head-first. Also apply to the mother's umbilicus. Alternatively, use Dodder seed (Tusizi) powder and Plantago seed (Cheqianzi) mixed with rice wine.
Another prescription: For malpresentation unresponsive to drugs: Moxibustion on the tip of the little toe of the right foot, two cones of moxa the size of wheat grains; immediate delivery.
Treats intrauterine fetal death with foul breath, blue tongue, cold breath from mouth, and blue nails: Take five qian of Trichosanthes root (Gualou Gen) powder mixed with reverse-flowing water.
Another prescription: Take three qian of hearth soil mixed with water. Also treats postpartum retention of lochia attacking the heart causing pain.
Another prescription: First administer one dose of Pingwei San divided into two servings. Decoct each serving with one zhong of wine and water until reduced to one zhong, add half a liang of refined nitre (Puxiao) ground fine. Boil three to five times, pour out, wait until slightly warm, and finish drinking. The fetus dissolves into bloody fluid and passes.
Another prescription: Expelling dead fetus: Grind half a qian of musk (Shexiang) separately, mix with three qian of cinnamon bark (Guirui) powder. Take once with warm wine. Within moments, the fetus is expelled as if pushed by hand. Repeat if ineffective.
Another prescription: Treats retained dead fetus with ruptured membranes: Use Podophyllum (Guijiu), quantity unrestricted. Remove hairs from yellow specimens, grind to fine powder without sieving. Take two qian per dose, decoct with one zhan of non-fermented wine until reduced to eight-tenths, drink all at once; delivers alive miraculously.
Another prescription: Treats retained placenta and near-death from intrauterine fetal death: Mix one liang each of Ampelopsis radix (Bailian) and Pinellia ternata (Banxia), grind to powder. Take one qian with wine. One dose for dystocia, two for transverse, three for breech, four for dead fetus; effective.
Treats retained placenta: Shell fourteen castor beans, crush into paste, mix with white flour dough, apply to soles of feet. Remove immediately after placenta delivery. If intestines prolapse, apply to the crown of the head to reduce them miraculously.
Another prescription: Treats retained placenta with blood accumulating at the heart, causing dizziness and upward rush of placenta threatening maternal death: Mix five qian of processed dry resin (Ganqi) powder, one large prepared Aconite (Fuzi, peeled and de-navelled) powder, and five qian of rhubarb powder. Simmer in wine and vinegar until dry, form pills the size of sophora seeds. Swallow thirty pills with light vinegar soup. Advance two more doses shortly after; placenta drops immediately. Prepare this medicine in advance.
Another prescription: Fry one sheng of adzuki beans, decoct in three sheng of water until two sheng remain, remove beans, take the warm juice to drop the placenta.
Another prescription: Burn the fingernails and toenails of the woman herself to ash, take with wine. Advance another dose shortly after. Have a strong woman lift the patient and use a bamboo tube to suction downwards over the heart; excellent.
Treats postpartum syncope, chest oppression, qi failure, incomplete expulsion of evil blood, and colic: Decoct safflower in wine and take, or drink two bowls of lotus root juice.
Another prescription: Heat two qian of pine soot ink until red, extinguish fire, grind to half a bi of powder. Take with warm wine; Beijing ink is also acceptable.
Another prescription: Burn old lacquerware until slight smoke appears, fumigate the face closely.
Another prescription: Chop chives, put in a teapot, pour boiling old rice vinegar, seal tightly with paper. Fumigate the nose and mouth of the parturient woman with the spout; immediate awakening.
Another prescription: Blow a small amount of Pinellia powder into the nose.
Treats persistent postpartum bleeding: Take two qian of pot rust powder mixed with wine.
Another prescription: Decoct half a liang of dried mugwort and half a liang of fresh ginger in thick soup and take.
Treats uterine prolapse unable to be retracted postpartum: Decoct three liang of Aurantium fruit (Zhiqiao, pith removed) in warm water, soak the prolapse for a long time until it retracts.
Another prescription: Decoct a bunch of Oxyria digyna (Laoya Suanjiangcao), fumigate until halfway retracted. Wash with slightly warm water to fully retract and secure.
Treats postpartum retention of lochia attacking the heart causing pain: Grind hearth soil finely, mix with wine three to five qian to induce evacuation of lochia; immediate effect.
Treats postpartum diarrhea with lochia retention: Burn four or five spikes of Schizonepeta (Dajingjie) in a cup to ash (avoid oil/fire contamination), add a little musk, grind. Mix with one or two sips of boiling water and take.
Treats unbearable postpartum abdominal distension and pain: Decoct Arctium lappa root (Shuniu Gen) as a drink; one dose cures.
Treats lack of milk in nursing women: Boil one pig trotter with five stalks of scallion and salt/wine into a soup/gelatin and drink. Repeat if necessary. Comb the breast downwards with a wooden comb; effective.
Another prescription: Grind Thladiantha dubia root (Tugua Gen) to powder, take with wine.
Another prescription: Roast one hornet nest to powder, take with wine.
Treats various pre- and postpartum conditions named Ji Yin Fan Hun Dan, also known as Yi Mu Wan: Uses only Motherwort herb (Yimucao), whose seed is Chongweizi. Leaves resemble hemp, opposite, square stem with concave surface. Purple flowers bloom node by node in April-June, found everywhere north and south. Two varieties exist; white-flowered ones are invalid. Harvest whole plant by roots when flowers are fully open on Dragon Boat Festival, Minor Heat, or June 6th. Dry in ventilated shade. Do not use copper/iron tools; use stone mortar, sieve to fine powder. Take one pill per dose according to following decoctions. Adding Mugwort (Muxiang), Whole Angelica (Quandanggui), and Red Peony Root (Chishaoyao) is excellent. Dosage unlimited until cured. Take 3-5 pills daily, or pills sized like sophora seeds. Take 50-70 pills at once. Making paste is superior. Paste method: Wash harvested Yimucao (roots, leaves, stems), crush in stone mortar, filter thick juice through hemp cloth, simmer in clay pot with moderate heat until paste-like (color of brown sugar), store in porcelain jar. Take one tea spoon per dose; excellent.
For prepartum stabbing abdominal pain, restless fetus, continuous bleeding: Take with Qinjiao and glutinous rice decoction, or Danggui decoction.
For pre- and postpartum abdominal pain with sounds, or alternating chills and fever resembling malaria: Take with warm rice drink.
Before labor and postpartum, take one pill dissolved in child's urine and wine. Calms soul, regulates Qi and Blood, prevents diseases; breaks blood stasis pain, nourishes vessels, regulates meridians. Effects cannot be fully described.
For retained placenta in uterus, prepartum dystocia/malpresentation, dead fetus retained for days, abdominal distension, chest/heart oppression: Take with fried salt soup.
For postpartum wind-stroke with jaw stiffness, hemiplegia, aphasia: Take with equal parts child's urine and non-fermented wine.
For postpartum asthma/cough, chest diaphragm obstruction, nausea, acid regurgitation, facial edema, hypochondriac pain, weakness: Take with warm wine.
For postpartum temporal headache, yawning, palpitations, shortness of breath, emaciation, anorexia, blood-wind fever, limb numbness, joint pain: Take with warm rice drink.

For postpartum dysentery: Take with rice drink.
For postpartum bloody diarrhea: Take with date decoction.
For postpartum red and white leukorrhea: Take with Jiao'ai Tang (Collagen and Mugwort Decoction).
For metrorrhagia/menorrhagia: Take with glutinous rice drink.
For engorgement pain or abscess formation: Grind to powder, mix with water, apply to breast; heals overnight. Or apply fresh crushed paste.
For infertility in women: Take with warm wine. Take one dose daily up to one month; definitely effective.
