治面黑痣 用江米十粒，半夏五分，共为细末。用水调成膏子少许，用钻尖挑在黑痣头上，待干，剥去黑皮，如有
黑，再照前点，如无，再不必点。
又方 用黄瓜割开去瓤，入皮硝于瓜内填满，外以绳密缚周固，悬于无日风吹之处，下以盆盛之，瓜内水流入盆
内，涂于痣上。或以新瓷碗盘角锋，略去痣上浮皮，以前水涂之，皆效。
治雀子斑 用霜梅肉、樱桃枝、猪牙皂角、紫背浮萍各等分，研为细末，如常洗面，其斑自去。
治面上疮 用好白芷一味为末，好酒调，涂疮上，待干，以井水润湿之，扫去再涂新者。连易三四次，即愈。
治眼目赤肿翳痛 用鲤鱼胆点之。亦治雀盲。
治两目暴赤 用长流水煎盐汤二碗，饮后以鸡翎于咽喉中探引吐之。又以草茎于鼻中探出血，即愈。
治赤眼 用甘草水磨明矾，敷眼胞上，痛即止。
治风赤眼 用蚯蚓十条，炙干捣为末。临卧时，以冷茶调下二钱。
又方 用蛤蟆衣草，洗净捣烂，摊向眼上，帛系之，顷时即瘥。
治赤眼疼痛 用荠菜根捣汁，点眼中。
又方 用冬青叶洗净，入盐少许，浓煎，乘热洗之。
又方 以自己小便洗眼，效。
又方 用水浸黑豆，至夜连皮研细， 眼上睡。或用豆腐贴睡亦佳。
治小儿赤眼 用黄连为末，水调贴脚心，赤眼自退。
治眼肿痛 用生姜自然汁，调飞过白矾，贴眼胞，痛即止。
又方 用青盐火 ，以碗合地上，出火气，研细。每用半钱，热汤者一盏泡温，洗烂眼及拳毛倒睫，效。
治冷泪目昏 用干姜肥者为末，每用一字沸汤点洗。或用贝母一枚腻白者，胡椒七粒，为末，点之。
治眼痒 多因布巾拭破眼眶，致成烂眩风，不得干好用白矾一两，铜青一两，同研细和匀。每用半饯，热汤半盏
泡，澄清，以手蘸开眼如法洗，必涩，不可拭干。但闭目坐得涩止自开眼。如药冷，将纸盖盏面，于汤瓶上顿温又洗。
一日洗四五次。
治眼翳膜久年不散 每日三次，以舌舐其膜，渐渐下，缘人真气使然。
治眼生花及翳 用刀刮指甲细屑和乳汁，点翳上，即退。
治眼青盲 以猪胆五枚，取汁于铜器中，慢火煎，令可丸即丸，如黍米大，纳眼中，验。
治眼中 肉 用杏仁十四枚，去皮尖，生嚼吐于手心，乘暖以绵缠箸头，点 肉上，不过三四度，即瘥。
治诸眼疾 夜含萝卜一片，数次易之，收诸毒瓦斯。
又方 用野菊花作枕头，能明目。
又方 用羊胆一枚，入蜜一钱在内，线扎，砂锅内满入水煮熟，冷水内浸，取出候干，倾入瓷罐内，以箸点眼四
角，效。
治时行害眼并风眼有泪者 用皮硝六钱，水一钟，煎七分，候冷定洗眼。每日洗数次，眼如童子明，每一月煎一遍。
治物入眼中 用好墨，清水研，箸点即出。
又方 飞丝入眼 用新笔于眼内运搅，即收在笔上。
治疗面部黑痣：取糯米十粒，半夏五分，共同研磨成细末。用水调制成少量药膏，用钻尖针挑取少许点涂在黑痣顶端，待其干燥后，剥去变黑的表皮。如果仍有黑色残留，再按照前面的方法再次点涂；如果没有黑色残留，则无需再点。
另一方法：将黄瓜切开，去除瓜瓤，将皮硝填入瓜内填满，外部用绳子紧密缠绕固定，悬挂在无阳光直射且通风的地方，下方放置盆承接从瓜内流出的液体，将此液体涂抹于黑痣上。或者用新瓷碗盘的锋利边角，轻轻刮去黑痣表面的浮皮，再用上述液体涂抹，均有效。
治疗雀斑（雀子斑）：取霜降后的梅肉、樱桃枝、猪牙皂角、紫背浮萍各等份，研磨成细末，像平常洗脸一样使用，雀斑自然会消退。
治疗面部疮疡：取优质白芷一味药研成细末，用好酒调和，涂抹在疮口上，待干燥后，用井水湿润，扫去旧药再涂新药。连续更换三四次，即可痊愈。
治疗眼睛红肿、有翳膜且疼痛：用鲤鱼胆汁滴眼。此法也能治疗雀盲（夜盲症）。
治疗双眼突然发红：用长流水煎煮盐水两碗，饮用后，用鸡毛在咽喉中探引催吐。再用草茎刺激鼻孔出血，即可痊愈。
治疗风邪引起的红眼：取蚯蚓十条，烤干后捣碎成末。临睡前，用冷茶调服二钱。
另一方法：取蛤蟆衣草，洗净捣烂，摊敷在眼睛上，用丝帛系紧，片刻即可痊愈。
另一方法：用水浸泡黑豆，至夜晚连皮研磨细，敷在眼上睡觉。或用豆腐贴敷睡觉也很好。
治疗小儿红眼：取黄连研成细末，用水调和贴敷脚心，红眼自然消退。
治疗眼部肿痛：取生姜自然汁，调和飞过（煅制过的）白矾，贴敷眼睑，疼痛立即停止。
另一方法：用青盐火煅，用碗扣在地上以散去火气，研磨细。每次取半钱，用一盏热汤泡温，清洗溃烂的眼部及倒睫，有效。
治疗冷泪、视力昏花：取肥大的干姜研成细末，每次取一字量，用沸水点洗。或者取一枚腻白的贝母，七粒胡椒，研成细末，点眼。
治疗眼痒：多因用布巾擦拭导致眼眶破损，形成烂眩风。不可用干布擦拭，需用白矾一两，铜青一两，共同研磨细和匀。每次取半钱，用半盏热汤泡开，澄清后，用手蘸取按法清洗眼睛，必然会有涩感，不可擦干。只需闭目静坐，待涩感停止后自然睁眼。如果药液变冷，用纸盖住碗面，放在热水瓶上温热后再洗。每天洗四五次。
治疗眼翳膜多年不散：每日三次，用舌头舔舐翳膜，翳膜会逐渐下降，这是因为人体真气的作用。
治疗眼生花及翳膜：用刀刮取指甲细屑，混合乳汁，点涂在翳膜上，翳膜即退。
治疗眼青盲（视物不清）：取五枚猪胆，取汁放入铜器中，慢火煎煮，使其能做成丸剂，如黍米大小，纳入眼中，有效。
治疗眼中息肉：取杏仁十四枚，去皮尖，生嚼后吐在手心，趁暖用棉絮缠住筷子头，点涂在息肉上，不超过三四次，即可痊愈。
另一方法：用野菊花做枕头，能明目。
另一方法：取羊胆一枚，加入一钱蜜，用线扎紧，放入砂锅内加满水煮熟，浸入冷水中，取出晾干，倒入瓷罐中，用筷子蘸取点涂眼角，有效。
治疗时行害眼（传染性眼病）并伴有风泪者：取皮硝六钱，水一钟，煎至七分，待冷却定后洗眼。每天洗数次，眼睛会像童子般明亮，每月煎洗一次。
Treatment for facial black nevi: Take ten grains of glutinous rice (Oryza sativa var. glutinosa) and 0.5 fen (approx. 1.875g) of Pinellia Rhizome (Pinelliae Rhizoma). Grind them together into a fine powder. Mix with water to form a small amount of paste. Use a diamond-point needle to pick up a tiny amount and apply it to the top of the black nevus. Wait until dry, then peel off the blackened skin. If blackness remains, repeat the application as before; if no blackness remains, no further treatment is needed.
Another method: Cut open a cucumber, remove the pulp, and fill it completely with Glauber's Salt (Natrii Sulfas). Bind it tightly with rope around the circumference and hang it in a place without direct sunlight but with air circulation. Place a basin underneath to collect the liquid dripping from the cucumber. Apply this liquid to the nevus. Alternatively, use the sharp corner of a new porcelain bowl or plate to gently scrape off the superficial skin of the nevus, then apply the aforementioned liquid. Both methods are effective.
Treatment for freckles (Spilium): Take equal parts of plum flesh after frost (Prunus mume), cherry branch (Cerasi Ramulus), pig's tooth soap pod (Gleditsiae Sinensis Fructus), and purple-backed duckweed (Lemna minor). Grind into a fine powder. Use it like ordinary face-washing powder; the freckles will naturally disappear.
Treatment for facial sores: Take high-quality Angelica Dahurica Root (Angelicae Dahuricae Radix) alone, grind into a fine powder, and mix with good wine. Apply to the sore. Wait until dry, moisten with well water, sweep away the old medicine, and apply fresh medicine. Repeat changing the dressing three or four times consecutively, and it will heal.
Treatment for red, swollen eyes with nebula and pain: Apply bile from a carp (Cyprinus carpio) to the eye. This also treats nyctalopia (night blindness).
Treatment for sudden bilateral red eyes: Boil two bowls of salt water using running water. After drinking, induce vomiting by probing the throat with a chicken feather. Then, stimulate bleeding from the nose using a grass stem. The condition will resolve.
Treatment for red eye: Grind alum (Alumen) in licorice root water (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma aqueous extract) and apply to the eyelids. Pain stops immediately.
Treatment for wind-induced red eye: Take ten earthworms (Pheretima), roast until dry, and crush into powder. Before bedtime, take 2 qian (approx. 7.5g) mixed with cold tea.
Another method: Take Commelina communis herb (Commelinae Herba), wash clean, crush, and spread over the eye. Tie securely with silk cloth. It heals quickly.
Treatment for red eye pain: Crush shepherd's purse root (Capsellae Bursa-Pastoris Radix) to extract juice and drip into the eye.
Another method: Wash wintergreen leaves (Gaultheria procumbens folium), add a little salt, decoct strongly, and wash while hot.
Another method: Wash eyes with one's own urine; effective.
Another method: Soak black soybeans (Glycine max) in water. At night, grind them finely with the skin. Apply to the eyes while sleeping. Applying tofu while sleeping is also good.
Treatment for pediatric red eye: Grind Coptis Rhizome (Coptidis Rhizoma) into powder, mix with water, and apply to the sole of the foot. The red eye will recede naturally.
Treatment for eye swelling and pain: Extract natural juice from fresh ginger (Zingiberis Recens Rhizoma), mix with calcined alum (Alumen), and apply to the eyelid. Pain stops immediately.
Another method: Fire-calcine green salt (Natrium Chloratum), place under a bowl on the ground to dissipate fire heat, then grind finely. Take half a qian (approx. 1.875g) per dose, soak in one cup of hot water until warm, and wash the ulcerated eye and trichiasis. Effective.
Treatment for cold tearing and blurred vision: Grind large dried ginger (Zingiberis Rhizoma) into powder. Take one zi (approx. 0.3-0.6g) per dose, point and wash with boiling water. Alternatively, take one greasy-white Fritillaria Bulb (Fritillariae Cirrhosae Bulbus) and seven peppercorns (Piperis Nigrum Fructus), grind into powder, and apply to the eye.
Treatment for itchy eyes: Often caused by wiping the orbital area with cloth towels leading to erosion, resulting in "rotating dizziness wind." Do not wipe dry. Take one liang (approx. 37.5g) of alum (Alumen) and one liang of copper green (Chrysocolla), grind finely and mix evenly. Take half a qian per dose, soak in half a cup of hot water, clarify, and dip fingers to wash the eye according to the method. There will be astringency; do not wipe dry. Just sit with closed eyes until the astringency subsides, then open naturally. If the medicine cools, cover the cup with paper and warm it on a hot water bottle before washing again. Wash four or five times a day.
Treatment for persistent nebula/membrane in the eye for many years: Lick the membrane with the tongue three times daily. The membrane will gradually descend due to the body's true qi.
Treatment for visual hallucinations ("seeing flowers") and nebula: Scrape fingernails finely with a knife, mix with milk, and apply to the nebula. It recedes immediately.
Treatment for amblyopia (Qingmang): Take five pig gallbladders (Vesica Bilia Porcina), extract juice, and slowly boil in a copper vessel until it can be formed into pills the size of millet seeds. Insert into the eye. Verified effective.
Treatment for polyp in the eye: Take fourteen apricot kernels (Armeniacae Semen Amarum), remove skin and tips, chew raw, spit into the palm. While warm, wrap chopsticks with cotton, and apply to the polyp. Within three or four applications, it heals.
Treatment for various eye diseases: Hold a slice of radish (Raphani Sativi Radix) in the mouth at night, replacing it several times, to absorb toxic vapors.
Another method: Use wild chrysanthemum (Chrysanthemi Indici Flos) as a pillow to brighten the eyes.
Another method: Take one sheep gallbladder (Vesica Bilia Ovis), add one qian of honey, tie with thread, boil in a clay pot filled with water until cooked, soak in cold water, take out and let dry. Pour into a porcelain jar. Dip chopsticks to apply to the four corners of the eye. Effective.
Treatment for epidemic eye disease (Shixing Haiyan) with wind and tears: Take six qian (approx. 22.5g) of Glauber's Salt (Natrii Sulfas), one zhong of water, decoct to seven-tenths volume. Wait for it to cool completely before washing the eye. Wash several times a day. Eyes become clear like a child's. Decoct once a month.
Treatment for foreign body in the eye: Use good ink, grind with clear water, dip chopsticks, and point into the eye to remove the object.
Another method: For fly filament entering the eye: Use a new brush to swirl inside the eye; the filament will adhere to the brush.
