共为末。梨汁、竹沥、白蜜。熬膏为丸。食后夜卧。俱可噙化。
治疗风痰引起的咳嗽。夜间无法安卧。
将白僵蚕炒制后研磨成粉，好茶各取一两，混合研为细末。每次服用五钱，睡前用热水冲泡服用。
无论老少，服用后无不神奇有效。五六岁的儿童服用此药，终身可无咳嗽之病。

Stir-fried *Bombyx Batryticatus* (Bai Jiangcan, 白僵蚕) ground into powder, and good tea, each one tael, mixed and ground into fine powder. Take five qian each time, brew with hot water and take before sleep.
Whether old or young, it is miraculously effective. Children aged five or six who take it will be free from coughing diseases for life.
Take one large radish, peel it and cut it into four pieces, but do not cut all the way through; leave the root tip intact. Cook in a clay pot until soft, mash it, and mix with top-grade white rock sugar. Simmer again until extremely soft.
After two or three doses, immediate effect is guaranteed.
Treats phlegm-fire, and also treats childhood tuberculosis (Tongzi Lao, 童子痨).
Human bone ash (Ren Zhong Bai, 人中白) stored outdoors, quantity不拘 (unrestricted), calcined over charcoal fire, wrapped in cloth, and soaked in an indigo vat for seven days. Take out, dry in the sun, and grind into powder.
Take an appropriate amount each dose.
Take one ripe Trichosanthes fruit (Gualou, 栝蒌), pour in one cup of strong tea, wash away the seeds, add one cup of honey, steam in a bowl placed on rice until cooked. Take out, and scoop out three or four spoons to take occasionally.
Treats chronic cough lasting thirty years, unceasing, where other medicines are ineffective. This prescription is miraculously effective.
Use only *Stemona Root* (Baibu, 百部), decoct into a paste, mix with honey, and take as needed.
Treats severe, persistent cough regardless of duration, and unremitting fever. Miraculous effect.
*Ginseng Radix* (Renshen, 人参), *Anemarrhena Rhizome* (Zhimu, 知母), *Fritillaria Bulb* (Beimu, 贝母), *Schisandra Fruit* (Wuweizi, 五味子), *Mulberry Cortex* (Sangbai Pi, 桑皮 - stir-fried), *Lycium Bark* (Digupi, 地骨皮 - stir-fried), each one tael; *Licorice Root* (Gancao, 甘草 - honey-fried) five qian; *Ephedra Stem* (Mahuang, 麻黄 - stir-fried, nodes removed), *Apricot Seed* (Xingren, 杏仁 - peeled, tips removed, surface stir-fried), each two taels; *Poppy Capsule* (Yingsuke, 罂粟壳 - membrane removed, stir-fried) one tael; *Pinellia Tuber* (Banxia, 半夏 - mixed with ginger juice seven times, lightly stir-fried) one tael five qian.
Grind all ingredients into fine powder, make pills with refined honey, size of a longan seed. Hold one pill in the mouth each time, swallow slowly. Hold three pills during the day, one pill at night. Miraculous effect.
*Coltsfoot Flower* (Kuandonghua, 款冬花 - ground into fine powder, three qian), *Ginger Juice* (Jiangzhi, 姜汁, five qian), *Millet Sugar* (Huangmitang, 黄米糖, three taels). Melt by simmering and take while hot.
Treats upward qi stagnation with fullness, inability to sit or lie down comfortably.
*Softshell Turtle Shell* (Biejia, 鳖甲) one tael, stir-fry until yellow, grind finely into powder. One handful of *Juncus Effusus* (Dengxin, 灯心), one sheng of water, decoct to five he. Take one qian seven fen before meals, take after meals with honey water.
Treats phlegm-wheezing and cough.
*Loquat Leaf* (Pipaye, 枇杷叶 - hairs removed, honey-fried), *Mulberry Cortex* (Sangpi, 桑皮), *Coltsfoot Flower* (Donghua, 冬花), *Akebia Caulis* (Mutong, 木通), *Asterae Radix* (Ziyuan, 紫苑), *Apricot Seed* (Xingren, 杏仁), each equal parts; *Rhubarb Root* (Dahuang, 大黄), half amount.
Grind all into powder, make pills using pear juice, bamboo sap, and white honey paste. Can be held in the mouth to dissolve after meals and before sleep.
