取优质的明矾粉末，用温水调匀后服用。服用三到五钱即可痊愈。或者使用胡椒、绿豆各二十四粒，一同研磨成粉，用酒调服即可痊愈。
如果上不能吐，下不能泻，伴有腹痛和脚部筋脉拘挛的，就是这种病症。紧急情况下将病人的头顶头发分开，用绿豆粉调和井水，不停地拍打头顶心（百会穴）。
凡是阴痧，表现为腹痛且手足冰冷，观察身上有红点，用灯火快速烘烤患处。阳痧则表现为手足发热，用针刺破皮肤放出血液即可痊愈。使用炒盐一两或数钱，用阴阳水一钟调匀后服用，通过呕吐或腹泻来停止症状。
治疗痧胀、霍乱引起的吐泻及转筋，以及中暑、心胃痛等症。
藿香叶（一两） 苍术（三钱，用米泔水浸泡） 陈皮（五钱，炒制） 枳壳（一两，炒制） 厚朴（八钱，用姜汁炒制） 生蚕砂（二两） 草紫河车（以上药物）再用青蒿汁浸泡三四次。
青皮（五钱，炒制） 川贝母（去心，五钱） 麝香（一钱）
以上药物共同研成细末，用姜汁制成丸药，每丸约重二钱，以朱砂为衣。每次服用一丸，用灯心草汤送服。小儿酌情减量，孕妇忌服。
加减四物汤：丹溪说，三消症多属于血虚，导致不生津液，适宜以四物汤为主方。间或服用缫丝汤效果更好。
熟地黄 当归 白芍 川芎（各三钱）
上消症者，加入人参、五味子、麦冬、天花粉。煎煮时加入鲜藕汁、生地黄汁、人乳。饮酒之人加入葛根汁。
Use high-quality Alum powder (Mingfan, 明矾). Mix with warm water and take orally. Three to five qian (approx. 15-25g) will result in recovery. Alternatively, use twenty-four grains of Piperis Longi Fructus (Huajiao, 胡椒) and twenty-four grains of Vigna radiata Seed (Lüdou, 绿豆), grind them together into powder, mix with wine, and take orally for immediate recovery.
Decoct the herb Qianlima (千里马) to make a decoction; drinking it will induce vomiting immediately.
If there is no vomiting from above nor diarrhea from below, accompanied by abdominal pain and tendon cramping in the legs, this indicates the condition. Urgently part the hair at the vertex of the patient's head. Mix Lucens Mungo Semen Powder (Lv dou fen, 绿豆粉) with well water and continuously pat the top of the head (Baihui, 百会).
For Yin Sha (Yin Sandworm Disease), characterized by abdominal pain and cold hands and feet, observe red spots on the body and cauterize them rapidly with a burning lamp wick. For Yang Sha (Yang Sandworm Disease), characterized by hot hands and feet, prick the skin with needles to release blood for recovery. Use one liang (approx. 30g) or several qian of stir-fried salt, mix with one zhong of Yin-Yang Water (water boiled and unboiled mixed), and take orally; symptoms will cease through vomiting or diarrhea.
Treats Sha Zhang (Sandworm Distension), Huoluan (Cholera-like syndrome) with vomiting, diarrhea, and tendon cramps, as well as heatstroke, heart and stomach pain, etc.
Huo Xiang Ye (Agastache Herba, 藿香叶) (one liang)
Cang Zhu (Atractylodis Rhizoma, 苍术) (three qian, soaked in rice washing water)
Chen Pi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium, 陈皮) (five qian, stir-fried)
Zhi Ke (Aurantii Fructus Immaturus, 枳壳) (one liang, stir-fried)
Hou Po (Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex, 厚朴) (eight qian, stir-fried with ginger juice)
Sheng Can Sha (Bombyx Batryticatus Excrement, 生蚕砂) (two liang)

The above herbs are soaked three to four times in Qing Hao Ye Juice (Artemisiae Annuae Herba Juice, 青蒿汁).
Qing Pi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium Viride, 青皮) (five qian, stir-fried)
Chuan Bei Mu (Fritillariae Cirrhosae Bulbus, 川贝母) (core removed, five qian)
She Xiang (Moschus, 麝香) (one qian)
Grind all the above herbs into fine powder. Form pills using Ginger Juice (Sheng Jiang Zhi, 姜汁), each pill weighing approximately two qian. Coat with Cinnabar (Zhu Sha, 朱砂). Take one pill per dose, washed down with Deng Xin Cao Tang (Junci Medulla Decoction, 灯心汤). Reduce dosage for children. Contraindicated for pregnant women.
Modified Si Wu Tang (Four Substances Decoction): Danxi stated that San Xiao (Three Consumptions) mostly belongs to Blood Deficiency, failing to generate body fluids. It is suitable to use Si Wu Tang as the main formula. Taking Sao Si Tang (Silkworm Cocoon Decoction) intermittently is even better.
Shu Di Huang (Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata, 熟地黄)
Dang Gui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix, 当归)
Bai Shao (Paeoniae Radix Alba, 白芍)
Chuan Xiong (Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma, 川芎) (each three qian)
For Shang Xiao (Upper Consumption), add Ren Shen (Ginseng Radix, 人参), Wu Wei Zi (Schisandrae Chinensis Fructus, 五味子), Mai Dong (Ophiopogonis Radix, 麦冬), and Tian Hua Fen (Trichosanthis Radix, 天花粉). Decoct and add fresh Lotus Root Juice (Sheng Ou Zhi, 生藕汁), raw Rehmannia Juice (Sheng Di Huang Zhi, 生地黄汁), and human milk. For drinkers, add Kudzu Root Juice (Ge Gen Zhi, 葛根汁).
This refers to the decoction made from silk spun by silkworm cocoons. If unavailable, decocting the original cocoon shells or raw silk cotton can serve as a substitute. Drink when thirsty for great effect. This substance belongs to Fire but has the function of nourishing Yin.
Five sheng of Fresh Apple Snail (Tian Luo, 田螺) soaked in one dou of water overnight. Drink the soaking water when thirsty. Change the water daily for soaking and drinking.
