口舌牙疳并见上。
口舌牙疳喉痛并用方∶甘草、桔梗各三钱，连翘、山栀、荆芥穗、花粉各一钱，薄荷三
分，煎汤徐含服。
治小儿鹅口疮∶箭头砂、枯白矾、明牙硝各五钱，共为细末，每用三五分吹之。
口疳∶甘蔗皮烧灰研末吹之效。
口疮破烂并治咽喉喉癣喉痈∶用凤凰衣，即伏鸡子壳内皮也。微火焙黄，橄榄烧存性，
儿茶，三味俱等分，共为末，以一钱为则，加冰片五厘，口疳搽患处，喉病吹入之，便能饮
食。
口疮久不愈虚火也∶用生附子一个，切，焙为末，醋和作饼，男左女右，贴脚心，引火
下行自愈。
口疮不能饮乳药∶密陀僧研末，醋调，涂足心，愈即急洗去。又方∶桑树皮中白汁，搽
患处。又方∶人中白， 研吹之俱效。
小儿口角生疮，名燕口疮∶以乱发烧灰存性，米饮调服，外即以此渣敷之。又方，蒸饭
时收甑盖上流下气水搽之即愈。
口唇肿黑痒痛不可忍∶先以瓷锋砭去恶血，以古铜钱磨猪油涂之效。
治走马牙疳及各样口疳∶多年田野中白螺蛳壳，研烂，少加儿茶，共为细末，吹患处即
效。
走马牙疳∶急用大针缚箸上，露锋一分半，将牙龈白点挑破出血，要挤出白点如半粒米
者，挤尽用青绢绞净，以薄荷汤磨好京墨，遍涂满口，勿即令乳，睡片时即效，较诸药更捷
。
小儿螳螂子方∶按小儿口内生黄马牙，口噤烦睡，诸书并无割之一法，今吴俗盛行此风
，忍以赤子之颐，就好妇之刃，每至割毙，不知归怨，兹特录简易良方，以告同志。
麝香（一分） 朱砂（五分） 螺蛳（七个）
同捣如泥，涂囟门上，阴干自落，切勿剥去。若症重者，将针微刺患处出血，即用京墨
磨搽，立愈。
治牙龈溃烂，诸药不效者，用盐榄二三个，连皮带核，火中 过，存性研末，加冰片七
分，香油调搽，神效。
走马牙疳臭烂出血∶红枣三枚，去核，以明雄黄研末，填满枣内，新瓦盛之，火 存性
，研末搽之。又方，凤凰衣，即伏雏蛋壳内皮，未见水者，焙干，少加枯矾，共为细末，搽
之效。又方，青黛水飞、黄柏、枯白矾、五倍子各一钱，共研细末，先以米泔漱口，搽之自
愈。
治口疳疮及咽喉疼痛∶用吴茱萸二两，研末，少加面粉，醋调作二饼，贴两足心，以布
扎之，过夜即愈。内服加味甘桔汤，见上。外用百草霜、蒲黄、薄荷、青黛水飞，少加冰片
，吹之尤效。
治重舌、木舌、肿满强痛，或痛不止，不能言语∶用粗针，以线扎箸头上，刺患处，甚
者数十次为妙，只刺舌尖及舌两旁，其舌中心及舌下切不可针，犯之令出血不止。其刺出之
血，以红色者毒轻，紫色者为重，黑色者最危。仍以蒲黄研末，搽舌上即消。又方，刺出血
后，以生蒲黄、海螵蛸，共为末，搽之即消。
舌忽胀大肿硬实时气绝，名为 舌∶用皂矾，不拘多少，新瓦上以火 变色为度，放
地上候冷，研末，搽舌上立消。治重舌木舌皆效。
舌肿满不能出声∶以梅花冰片，研烂敷之。或以食盐、百草霜，共为末，并水调敷立效
。亦宜刺出血，以蒲黄、海螵蛸搽尤效。
绊舌者，舌根下有筋一条，绊其舌尖，令舌短缩，不能吮乳，宜精细看明，见舌根下有
筋如线牵绊其舌者∶用针轻轻挑破之，挑时但挑此筋，切不可误伤舌根，慎之。
舌断能重生∶用活蟹一只，炙干为末，敷之。此方至神至验。
治小儿胸膈积热，致生风痰，而患喉痹∶用粉甘草四钱、牙桔梗四钱，以净水煎，细细
咽之。加牛蒡子、荆芥穗、川贝母、天花粉各一钱，尤效。外方∶用燕子窝泥、雄黄各等分
，堆花烧酒调敷咽喉外两旁即愈。
咽喉内生疮，鼻孔内亦烂，若作喉风治，立死∶用白霜梅一个，烧存性，枯矾一钱，山
甲炙枯一钱，共为细末，吹喉中，神效。
小儿锁喉方∶用芙蓉叶捣汁，煎鸡蛋两个，一贴囟门，一贴肚脐即愈。又方，黑鲩鱼胆
一个，入糯米在内，吊檐前阴干，遇此病取米七八粒，研末，以小竹管吹入舌上。
喉疮已破，疮口疼痛，难进乳食∶用猪脑髓蒸熟，姜醋调和服之自愈。
咽喉中结核，不通饮食，危困欲死∶用茅柴灶内百草霜，以蜜和为丸，如芡实大，每用
一丸，白汤化开灌之，甚者不过二次效。
误吞针∶用磁石研末，以黄蜡溶化，和丸如豆大吞下，针共丸药同从大便出。又方，蚕
豆煮熟食之。又，韭菜略煮食之。
误吞银钱金银钗环之类∶只以米糖水灌之，久之自出。
误吞铜钱∶生慈菇捣汁，多饮自然愈。
凡诸骨哽喉∶谷树叶捣烂取汁服，其骨自下。
误吞铁物∶以木炭一两，研细，分两次煮粥食之，效。
治疗口舌生疮、牙疳及咽喉疼痛的通用方：甘草、桔梗各三钱，连翘、山栀（栀子）、荆芥穗、天花粉各一钱，薄荷三分，煎成汤剂后慢慢含服。

同时治疗口疮溃烂、咽喉、喉癣和喉痈：使用凤凰衣（即鸡蛋壳内的内膜），用微火焙至黄色，橄榄烧至存性（保留药性但炭化），儿茶，这三味药等量混合，共同研成细末，以一钱为基准量，加入冰片五厘。口疳时涂抹在患处，咽喉疾病时吹入喉中，患者便能进食。
口疮长期不愈属于虚火所致：用一个生附子，切片，焙干后研成末，用醋调和做成饼状，男性贴在左脚心，女性贴在右脚心，以引火下行，即可自愈。
口疮导致无法喝奶的药物：密陀僧研成末，用醋调匀，涂在脚心，痊愈后立即洗去。另一方法：桑树皮中的白色汁液，涂抹在患处。再一方法：人中白，研磨后吹入患处，均有效。
小儿嘴角生疮，名为燕口疮：将乱发烧成灰并保留药性，用米汤调服，外用剩下的药渣敷在患处。又一方法：蒸饭时收集蒸笼盖上流下的冷凝水，涂抹患处即可痊愈。
口唇肿胀、发黑、瘙痒疼痛难以忍受：先用瓷器的锋利边缘刺破放出恶血，然后用古铜钱磨猪油涂抹，效果显著。
治疗走马牙疳及各类口疳：多年田野中的白螺蛳壳，研磨烂，少量加入儿茶，共同研成细末，吹入患处即效。
走马牙疳：紧急情况下，用大针绑在筷子上，露出锋刃一分半，将牙龈上的白点挑破出血，务必挤出如半粒米大小的白点物质，挤尽后用青绢绞净，用薄荷汤磨好京墨，遍涂满口，暂时不要喂奶，睡片刻后即见效，比各种药物更快捷。
小儿螳螂子方：按察发现小儿口中内生黄马牙，口噤烦闷嗜睡，各医书并无割治的方法，如今吴地风俗盛行此法，忍心用婴儿的脸颊，用好妇人的刀刃，往往导致割治致死，不知归咎于谁，特此记录简易良方，告知同道中人。
麝香（一分） 朱砂（五分） 螺蛳（七个）
共同捣烂如泥，涂在囟门上，阴干后自然脱落，切勿强行剥去。若症状严重者，用针轻微刺破患处出血，立即用京墨磨碎涂抹，立刻痊愈。
治疗牙龈溃烂，各种药物无效者：用盐渍橄榄二三个，连皮带核，在火中煅过，保留药性，研成末，加入冰片七分，用香油调匀涂抹，神效。
走马牙疳臭烂出血：红枣三枚，去核，用明雄黄研成末，填满枣内，放在新瓦上，用火煅至存性，研成末涂抹患处。又一方法：凤凰衣，即未孵化的雏鸡蛋壳内膜，未见水的，焙干，少量加入枯矾，共同研成细末，涂抹患处有效。又一方法：青黛水飞、黄柏、枯白矾、五倍子各一钱，共同研成细末，先用米泔水漱口，然后涂抹，即可自愈。
治疗口疳疮及咽喉疼痛：用吴茱萸二两，研成末，少量加入面粉，用醋调成两个饼，贴在两足心，用布扎紧，过夜即可痊愈。内服加味甘桔汤，见上文。外用百草霜、蒲黄、薄荷、水飞青黛，少量加入冰片，吹入患处尤其有效。
治疗重舌、木舌、肿胀强痛，或疼痛不止，不能言语：用粗针，用线扎在筷子头上，刺患处，严重的数十次为宜，只刺舌尖及舌两旁，舌中心及舌下切不可针刺，否则会导致出血不止。刺出的血，红色者毒轻，紫色者重，黑色者最危险。仍用蒲黄研成末，涂抹舌上即可消退。又一方法：刺出血后，用生蒲黄、海螵蛸，共同研成末，涂抹即可消退。
舌头突然胀大、肿硬、实证导致气绝，名为重舌：用皂矾，不拘多少，在新瓦上用火烧至变色为止，放在地上冷却，研成末，涂抹舌上立即消退。治疗重舌、木舌均有效。
舌肿胀满溢，不能出声：用梅花冰片，研磨烂敷在舌上。或用食盐、百草霜，共同研成末，加水调匀敷贴，立即见效。也适宜刺出血，用蒲黄、海螵蛸涂抹尤其有效。
绊舌者，舌根下有一条筋，绊住舌尖，使舌头短缩，不能吮吸乳汁，应仔细查看，见到舌根下有筋如线牵绊其舌者：用针轻轻挑破它，挑时只挑这条筋，切不可误伤舌根，务必谨慎。
舌断裂能重生：用活蟹一只，烤干研成末，敷在断处。此方极其神奇灵验。
治疗小儿胸膈积热，导致生风痰，而患喉痹：用粉甘草四钱、牙桔梗四钱，用清水煎煮，细细咽下。加入牛蒡子、荆芥穗、川贝母、天花粉各一钱，尤其有效。外治方：用燕子窝泥、雄黄各等分，用花雕酒调匀敷在咽喉外侧两旁，即可痊愈。
咽喉内生疮，鼻孔内也腐烂，如果当作喉风治疗，会立即致死：用白霜梅一个，烧至存性，枯矾一钱，穿山甲炙枯一钱，共同研成细末，吹入喉中，神效。
小儿锁喉方：用芙蓉叶捣汁，煎两个鸡蛋，一个贴在囟门，一个贴在肚脐，即可痊愈。又一方法：黑鲩鱼胆一个，放入糯米在内，挂在屋檐前阴干，遇到此病取米七八粒，研成末，用小竹管吹入舌上。
喉疮已破，疮口疼痛，难进乳食：用猪脑髓蒸熟，姜醋调和服用，即可自愈。
咽喉中有结核，不通饮食，危困欲死：用茅柴灶内的百草霜，用蜜调和做成丸，如芡实大小，每次用一丸，用白开水化开灌服，严重的不过两次即见效。
误吞针：用磁石研成末，用黄蜡溶化，和丸如豆大吞下，针随丸药一同从大便排出。又一方法：蚕豆煮熟食用。又，韭菜略煮食用。
误吞银钱金银钗环之类：只用米糖水灌服，时间久了自然会排出。
误吞铁物：用木炭一两，研细，分两次煮粥食用，有效。
Mouth and tongue sores, canker sores of the teeth (Ya Gan), and throat pain are described above.
Universal prescription for mouth and tongue sores, dental canker sores, and throat pain: Licorice Root (Gancao) and Platycodon Root (Jiegeng) each 3 qian; Forsythia Fruit (Lianqiao), Gardenia Fruit (Shanzhi), Schizonepeta Spike (Jingjie Sui), and Trichosanthes Root (Huafen) each 1 qian; Mint Leaf (Bohe) 3 fen. Decoct in water, take slowly while holding in the mouth before swallowing.
Treatment for infant thrush (E Kou Chuang): Arrowhead Sand (Jiantou Sha), Calcined White Alum (Ku Bai Fan), and Refined Niter (Ming Ya Xiao) each 5 qian. Grind together into a fine powder. Use 3-5 fen per application, insufflated into the affected area.
Oral canker sores (Kou Gan): Burn sugarcane peel to ash, grind into powder, and insufflate into the lesion. Effective.
Simultaneous treatment for oral ulcers with erosion, pharynx, laryngeal tinea (Hou Xuan), and laryngeal carbuncle (Hou Yong): Use Phoenix Coat (Feng Huang Yi), which is the inner membrane of the eggshell. Roast lightly over low fire until yellow. Char olive fruit (Gan Lan) retaining its medicinal properties. Use Child's Tea (Er Cha). Mix these three ingredients in equal parts, grind into powder. Take 1 qian as a standard dose, add 5 li of Borneol (Bing Pian). For oral canker sores, apply topically to the lesion; for throat diseases, insufflate into the throat, enabling the patient to eat and drink.
Chronic oral ulcers that do not heal are caused by deficient fire: Use one raw Aconite Root (Sheng Fuzi). Slice it, roast until dry, and grind into powder. Mix with vinegar to form a cake. Apply to the sole of the left foot for males and the right foot for females to guide fire downward, leading to spontaneous recovery.
Medication for oral ulcers preventing breastfeeding: Galena (Mituo Seng) ground into powder, mixed with vinegar, applied to the sole of the foot. Wash off immediately upon healing. Another method: Apply the white sap from mulberry tree bark to the affected area. Another method: Insufflate Rhinoceros Horn Substitute (Ren Zhong Bai) after grinding; both are effective.
Sores at the corners of the mouth in children, named Swallow Mouth Sores (Yan Kou Chuang): Burn tangled hair until carbonized but retaining medicinal properties. Mix with rice water for oral administration. Apply the residue externally to the lesion. Another method: Collect the condensation dripping from the lid of the steamer during rice cooking and apply to the lesion for immediate healing.
Swelling, blackening, itching, and unbearable pain of the lips: First, use the sharp edge of porcelain to prick and release evil blood. Then, rub ancient copper coins on pig fat and apply to the area. Effective.
Treatment for Gangrenous Canker of the Teeth (Zou Ma Ya Gan) and various types of oral canker sores: White snail shells from fields for many years, ground into a paste. Add a small amount of Child's Tea (Er Cha). Grind together into a fine powder and insufflate into the lesion. Effective.
Gangrenous Canker of the Teeth (Zou Ma Ya Gan): Urgently bind a large needle to a chopstick, exposing the tip by 1.5 fen. Prick the white spots on the gums to cause bleeding. Squeeze out the white substance resembling half a grain of rice until fully expelled. Clean thoroughly with green silk twisted clean. Grind Jingmo (Beijing Ink) with mint decoction and paint the entire mouth. Do not allow breastfeeding immediately. Rest for a short period for effect; this is faster than other medicines.
Infant Mantis Tongue Prescription: Observe infants with yellow horse-teeth inside the mouth, jaw stiffness, irritability, and excessive sleepiness. Medical texts generally do not recommend cutting. However, the custom in Wu region盛行 this practice, using a woman's knife on an infant's cheek, often resulting in death without blame being assigned. Hereby recording a simple and effective prescription for colleagues.
Musk (Shexiang) 1 fen; Cinnabar (Zhusha) 5 fen; Snails (Luosi) 7.
Pound together into a paste. Apply to the fontanelle (Xin Men). Allow to dry naturally; it will fall off. Do not forcibly peel it off. For severe cases, slightly prick the lesion with a needle to bleed, then immediately apply ground Beijing Ink. Immediate cure.
Treatment for gum ulceration unresponsive to other medicines: Use 2-3 salted olives, including skin and seeds. Roast in fire until carbonized but retaining medicinal properties. Grind into powder. Add 7 fen of Borneol (Bing Pian). Mix with sesame oil and apply. Divine efficacy.
Gangrenous Canker of the Teeth (Zou Ma Ya Gan) with foul rotting and bleeding: 3 red dates, pitted. Fill with powder of Realgar (Xiong Huang). Place on a new tile. Roast in fire until carbonized. Grind into powder and apply. Another method: Phoenix Coat (inner membrane of unhatched eggshell, not exposed to water), dried by roasting. Add a small amount of Calcined White Alum (Ku Bai Fan). Grind into powder and apply. Effective. Another method: Water-floated Indigo Naturalis (Qing Dai), Phellodendron Bark (Huangbai), Calcined White Alum (Ku Bai Fan), and Chinese Gall (Wubeizi) each 1 qian. Grind finely. Rinse mouth with rice washing water first, then apply. Spontaneous recovery.
Treatment for oral canker sores and throat pain: 2 liang of Evodia Fruit (Wuzhuyu). Grind into powder. Add a small amount of flour. Mix with vinegar to form two cakes. Apply to the soles of both feet. Bind with cloth. Leave overnight for cure. Internally, administer Sweet Licorice and Platycodon Decoction (Jia Wei Gan Jie Tang), see above. Externally, use Roof-soot (Baicao Shuang), Polygonum Multiflorum Rootlet (Puhuang), Mint Leaf (Bohe), and Water-floated Indigo Naturalis (Qing Dai). Add a small amount of Borneol (Bing Pian). Insufflate into the throat. Especially effective.
Treatment for Double Tongue (Chong She), Wooden Tongue (Mu She), swelling, fullness, severe pain, or continuous pain preventing speech: Use a coarse needle bound to the end of a chopstick with thread. Prick the lesion. For severe cases, prick dozens of times. Only prick the tip and sides of the tongue. Never prick the center or underside of the tongue, as this causes uncontrollable bleeding. Blood color indicates severity: red indicates mild toxicity, purple indicates severe, black indicates critical condition. Apply Polygonum Multiflorum Rootlet (Puhuang) powder to the tongue to resolve swelling. Another method: After pricking to bleed, apply a mixture of raw Polygonum Multiflorum Rootlet (Puhuang) and Cuttlefish Bone (Haipiaoxiao) ground into powder. Resolves immediately.
Sudden tongue swelling, hardness, excess syndrome leading to qi stagnation/collapse, named Double Tongue (Chong She): Use Green Vitriol (Zao Fan). Amount unspecified. Roast on a new tile until color changes. Cool on the ground. Grind into powder. Apply to the tongue for immediate resolution. Effective for Double Tongue and Wooden Tongue.
Tongue swelling and fullness preventing speech: Pound Plum Borneol (Meihua Bing Pian) and apply. Or, mix Salt (Yan) and Roof-soot (Baicao Shuang) into powder, mix with water, and apply. Immediate effect. Also suitable to prick for bleeding, then apply Polygonum Multiflorum Rootlet (Puhuang) and Cuttlefish Bone (Haipiaoxiao) powder. Especially effective.
Bound Tongue (Ban She): There is a tendon under the root of the tongue binding the tip, causing shortening and inability to suckle milk. Examine carefully. If a tendon like a thread is seen binding the tongue at the root: Gently prick this tendon with a needle. Only prick this tendon. Do not injure the tongue root. Be cautious.
Severed tongue regrowth: Use one live crab, roasted dry, ground into powder. Apply to the severed part. This prescription is extremely divine and effective.
Treatment for pediatric chest and diaphragm heat accumulation causing wind-phlegm and Bi Syndrome of the Throat (Hou Bi): 4 qian of Powdered Licorice Root (Fen Gancao) and 4 qian of Toothed Platycodon Root (Ya Jiegeng). Decoct in clean water. Swallow slowly. Adding 1 qian each of Arctium Seed (Niubangzi), Schizonepeta Spike (Jingjie Sui), Fritillaria Bulb (Chuan Beimu), and Trichosanthes Root (Tianhuafen) is especially effective. External prescription: Equal parts of Swallow Nest Mud (Yanzi Wo Ni) and Realgar (Xiong Huang). Mix with Huadiao wine. Apply to both sides of the external throat. Cure.
Ulcers inside the throat with erosion inside the nostrils: If treated as Wind-Throat (Hou Feng), death is imminent. Use one White Frost Plum (Bai Shuang Mei), charred retaining medicinal properties. 1 qian Calcined White Alum (Ku Bai Fan). 1 qian Charred Pangolin Scale (Shan Jia). Grind into fine powder. Insufflate into the throat. Divine efficacy.
Pediatric Locked Throat Prescription: Juice of Hibiscus Leaf (Furong Ye) squeezed. Decoct with two eggs. Apply one to the fontanelle (Xin Men) and one to the umbilicus (Du Qi). Cure. Another method: One Black Carp Gallbladder (Hei Huan Yu Dan). Fill with glutinous rice. Hang in front of the eaves to dry in shade. Upon occurrence of this disease, take 7-8 grains of rice, grind into powder, and insufflate onto the tongue using a small bamboo tube.
Throat ulcer ruptured, painful wound making breastfeeding difficult: Steamed pig brain marrow. Mixed with ginger and vinegar. Taken orally. Spontaneous recovery.
Throat nodules (Tu He) blocking food and drink, critical condition nearing death: Roof-soot (Baicao Shuang) from a thatch wood stove. Mix with honey to form pills the size of Euryale Seed (Qianshi). Take one pill per dose. Dissolve in warm water and administer. Severe cases recover within two doses.
Accidental swallowing of needles: Magnetite (Cishi) ground into powder. Melt beeswax (Huang La). Mix to form pills the size of beans. Swallow. The needle exits with the pill via feces. Another method: Cook and eat broad beans (Can Dou). Another: Boil briefly and eat leeks (Jiu Cai).
Accidental swallowing of silver coins, gold/silver hairpins/rings: Pour rice sugar water. It will pass naturally after a long time.
Accidental swallowing of copper coins: Crush raw Colocasia Corm (Ci Gu) to extract juice. Drink generously. Natural recovery.
Any bone stuck in the throat: Crush leaves of the Grain Tree (Gu Shu Ye) to extract juice. Ingest. The bone falls naturally.
Accidental swallowing of iron objects: 1 liang of charcoal. Grind finely. Divide into two portions. Cook with rice to make porridge. Eat. Effective.
