共同研磨成粉末，用蜂蜜制成如鸡蛋黄大小的丸剂。研碎后以沸水送服一丸。每日三四次。服药后喝热粥，以腹部感到温热为度；或者使用上述药材各三钱，加水两钟，煎至八分，温服。服药后喝热粥。○如果脐上跳动不安的，去掉白术，加入桂枝。○呕吐多的，去掉白术，加入生姜。

干姜（三钱），附子（三钱，生用），葱白（两根）。
加水二钟，煎至八分，温服。○加入猪胆汁一汤匙、人尿半汤匙，名为白通加猪胆汁汤。
Huangqin (Coptidis Rhizoma, 3 qian), Zhigancao (Prepared Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma), Shaoyao (Paeoniae Radix Alba, each 2 qian), Dazao (Ziziphi Jujubae Fructus, 3 pieces).
Decoct in water and take orally. Twice daily and once at night.
This is the preceding formula (i.e., Huangqin Tang / Coptis Decoction). Add Banxia (Pinelliae Rhizoma, 2 qian) and Shengjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens, 3 qian).
Renshen (Ginseng Radix), Baizhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma), Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma), Ganjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma, each 3 liang).
Grind together into powder, form pills with honey the size of a chicken egg yolk. Crush one pill and take with boiling water. Take three to four times daily. After taking the medicine, drink hot porridge until warmth is felt in the abdomen; alternatively, use each of the above herbs 3 qian, add two zhong of water, decoct to eight parts, take warm. Drink hot porridge after taking the medicine. ○ If there is palpitation or throbbing above the umbilicus, remove Baizhu and add Guizhi (Cinnamomi Ramulus). ○ If vomiting is excessive, remove Baizhu and add Shengjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens).

Mahuang (Ephedrae Herba, nodes removed), Xixin (Asari Radix et Rhizoma, each 3 qian), Fuzi (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata, 1.5 qian).
Add three zhong of water, first decoct Mahuang until reduced to two zhong, skim off the foam, then add the other herbs, decoct to seven parts, and take warm. ○ Note: Modern physicians are confused by the rule that "Xixin should not exceed one qian," mistakenly believing... pathogenic factors.
