新罗人参（一寸许） 胡桃肉（一个，去壳，不剥皮）
上煎汤服，盖人参定喘，带皮胡桃敛肺故也！
又方，洪内翰夜直，寿皇宣谕方。

上临卧食之毕，则饮汤三两呷，又再嚼桃、姜如前之数，且饮汤，未行动就枕即愈。

上每服各抄一钱，以生猪肝火上炙热，蘸药，食后临卧服。汉阳公库兵黄六者，旧苦此
病，百药不效，于岳阳路上遇一道人传此方，两服病不复作。续增

以上药材煎汤服用，因为人参能平定气喘，带皮的胡桃能收敛肺气！
另一个方子，是洪内翰在夜间值班时，由寿皇（宋孝宗）宣谕的方剂。

以上药材在临睡前吃完，然后喝三两口汤，再像之前那样咀嚼桃仁和生姜的数量，并且喝汤，不活动直接躺下睡觉即可痊愈。

以上药材处理干净后称重，研成粉末，每次服用五钱，水一盏半，生姜三片，肥乌梅一枚，拍碎，一同煎至七分，去渣

Treatment for Phlegm-induced Asthma, from *Yijian Zhi* (Records of Yijian), Volume 3.
Xinluo Ren Shen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma Rubra, approx. one cun long) Hu Tao Rou (Semen Juglandis, one piece, shell removed, skin retained).
Decoct the above ingredients in water and take the decoction orally. This is because Ren Shen stabilizes asthma, and Hu Tao with its skin astringes the Lung Qi.
Another prescription: Prescribed by Emperor Shouhuang (Emperor Xiaozong of Song) to Hong Neihan during his night duty.
Hu Tao Rou (Semen Juglandis, three pieces) Sheng Jiang (Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens, three slices).
Consume the above ingredients just before going to bed, then drink three or two mouthfuls of warm water. Chew the walnuts and ginger again as previously described, drink more water, and lie down immediately without physical activity; the condition will be cured.
Bai Fan (Alumen, refined and ground) Wu Wei Zi (Fructus Schisandrae Chinensis, powdered).
Take one qian of each powder per dose. Roast a fresh pig liver over fire until hot, dip the powder into the liver, and take after meals before bedtime. Huang Liu, a soldier in the Hanyang Public Treasury, suffered from this illness for a long time with no effect from various medicines. He met a Daoist priest on the road to Yueyang who passed on this prescription. After two doses, the illness did not recur. Added subsequently.

Kuan Dong Hua (Flos Farfarae, one liang, dried separately and crushed) Gui Zhi (Ramulus Cinnamomi, bark stripped, not heated) Gan Cao (Radix Glycyrrhizae Uralensis, dried, one fen each) E Guan Shi (Lapis Tubulitis, half a liang).
Process each herb properly, place them together in a mortar, and grind them until extremely fine. Take approximately one qian per dose. At the fifth watch (early morning), inhale the powder through a reed tube directly into the throat. After administration, lie supine. The expulsion of saliva and phlegm indicates efficacy. Avoid raw, cold, greasy foods, salt, and soy sauce. Maintain a bland diet for two days.
Treatment for severe phlegm accumulation, asthenic asthma, and incessant cough, transmitted by Palace Envoy Hua.
Yu Mi Ke (Pericarpium Papaveris Albi, remove top and septum, honey-fried, finely cut, four liang) Kuan Dong Hua (Flos Farfarae, stems removed) Fo Er Cao (Herba Tussilaginiae) Gan Cao (Radix Glycyrrhizae Uralensis, fried) Ren Shen (Radix Ginseng) Chen Pi (Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae, white pith removed) E Jiao (Colla Corii Asini, stir-fried with Araneus powder) Xing Ren (Semen Pruni Armeniacae, skin and tips removed, non-dual kernels, bran-fried, one liang each).
Clean and weigh the processed herbs, grind into powder. Take five qian per dose. Add one sheng and a half of water, three slices of Sheng Jiang (Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens), and one plump Wu Mei (Fructus Mume), crushed. Decoct together until reduced to seven-tenths. Strain...
