In cases of abdominal blood stasis due to fractures or injuries, resulting from falls from heights or sudden collapses, the qi and blood stagnate in the meridians and fail to circulate freely. When blood stasis accumulates in the abdomen, it is imperative to employ purgative methods promptly.
If treatment is delayed, pain and obstruction will worsen day by day, leading to emaciation and a lackluster complexion, eventually evolving into conditions characterized by abdominal masses (Jia Ju).
