产后脏腑虚弱，心神受惊悸动，是由于身体虚弱、心气不足，心经被风邪侵袭所致。或者因恐惧、忧虑逼迫，导致心气受损。
治疗产后脏腑虚弱，心中怔忡惊悸，言语错乱。（一方名为牛黄散）
麦门冬、人参（各八钱）、牛黄（研细）、白薇（各二钱）、茯神、独活、远志、生地黄（一方用熟干地黄，各研细一钱）。
将上述药物细研为散。
大远志丸：治疗产后心气不足，心下虚性悸动，意志不安，精神恍惚，腹中拘急疼痛，夜间睡眠不安，胸部不适。
远志、甘草、干地黄、桂心、茯苓、人参、麦门冬、当归、白术、泽泻、独活、菖蒲（各三两）。
上药研末，炼蜜为丸，如梧桐子大。每次服用二十丸。

甘草丸（出自《千金方》）：治疗产后心虚不足，惊悸，心神不安，呼吸短促乏力，或若恍惚不定，不能自知。
甘草、远志、菖蒲（各三两）、人参、麦门冬、干姜、茯苓（各二两）、泽泻、桂心（各一两）。
若无泽泻，可用其他药物替代。

茯苓汤（出自《千金方》）：治疗产后突然苦于心悸不定，言语错谬，恍恍惚惚，心中郁闷。此皆心虚所致。
茯苓（五两，一方用三两）、甘草（二两，一方用一两）、芍药（二两）、桂心（二两，一方用一两）、当归（二两，一方用一两）。
上药切碎，加水煎煮，去渣温服。
若有微风，加独活三两，麻黄二两，桂心二两，用水一斗五升。若颈及脊背膊强，加独活、葛根各三两，麻黄、桂心各二两，生姜八两，用水一斗五升。
安心汤（出自《千金方》）：治疗产后心悸不定，恍恍惚惚，不自知觉，言语错误，虚烦短气，意志不定。这是心虚所致。
远志、甘草（各二两）、人参、茯神、当归、芍药（各三两）、麦门冬（一升）、大枣（三十枚）。
上药切碎，加水煎煮，去渣温服。

Ophiopogonis Radix (Maidong), Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma (Renshen) (8 qian each), Realgar (Niuhuang) (ground), Anemarrhenae Rhizoma (Baiwei) (2 qian each), Poria Cum Radix Xylomi (Fushen), Angelicae Dahuricae Radix (Duhuo), Polygalae Radix (Yuanzhi), Rehmanniae Radix Recens (Sheng Dihuang) (one version uses Shu Dihuang, 1 qian each ground).
Grind the above herbs into a fine powder.
Da Yuanzhi Wan: Treats postpartum Heart Qi deficiency, empty palpitations in the epigastrium, restlessness of will, mental confusion, abdominal tension and pain, insomnia at night, and chest discomfort.
Polygalae Radix (Yuanzhi), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao), Dry Rehmanniae Radix (Gan Dihuang), Cinnamomi Cortex (Guixin), Poria (Fuling), Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma (Renshen), Ophiopogonis Radix (Maidong), Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui), Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma (Baizhu), Alismatis Rhizoma (Zexie), Angelicae Dahuricae Radix (Duhuo), Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma (Changpu) (3 liang each).
Grind the above herbs into powder, mix with refined honey to make pills the size of wutong seeds. Take 20 pills per dose, at any time, washed down with Yinjin Tang (Silver and Gold Decoction).
Yuanzhi Wan: Treats postpartum visceral deficiency, startle palpitations of the Heart spirit, restlessness of will, and central abdominal pain.
Polygalae Radix (Yuanzhi) (remove heart), Astragali Radix (Huangqi) (cut), White Poria (Baifuling), Cinnamomi Cortex (Guixin), Ophiopogonis Radix (Maidong) (remove heart and roast), Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma (Renshen) (remove rhizome), Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui) (cut and lightly stir-fry), Dioscoreae Rhizoma (Shanyao) (1 liang each).
Grind the above herbs into powder, mix with refined honey to make pills the size of wutong seeds. Take 20 pills per dose, at any time, washed down with Yinjin Tang.
Dansha Wan (from *Shenghui Fang*): Treats postpartum wind-deficiency, startle palpitations of the Heart spirit, occasional vexation, and indeterminate will.
Cinnabaris (Dansha) (1 liang, finely ground and water-washed), Longgu (Dragon Teeth) (3 fen, finely ground), Tiejing (Iron Essence) (3 fen, finely ground), Jinbo (Gold Leaf) (11 pieces, finely ground), Niuhuang (Realgar) (1 fen, finely ground), Hupo (Amber) (0.5 liang, finely ground).
Grind the above herbs into powder, mix with refined honey and pound to form pills the size of wutong seeds. Take 20 pills per dose, at any time, washed down with Yinjin Tang.
Shaoyao Tang: Treats postpartum blood and Qi deficiency, palpitations in the epigastrium, restless dreams, and hallucinations of seeing ghosts.
Baifuling San (from *Shenghui Fang*, also known as Shugan Dihuang San): Treats postpartum indeterminate startle palpitations of the Heart spirit, abnormal speech, and inner vexation/oppression.
White Poria (Baifuling) (1.5 liang), Prepared Rehmanniae Radix (Shugan Dihuang) (1.5 liang), Polygalae Radix (Yuanzhi) (1 liang, remove heart), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao) (1 liang), White Peony Root (Baishaoyao) (1 liang), Astragali Radix (Huangqi) (1 liang, cut), Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma (Changpu) (3 qian), Taxilli (Sangjisheng) (3 qian).
Cut the above herbs, decoct in water, strain, and take warm.
Fuling San: Treats postpartum visceral deficiency, palpitations in the heart, indeterminate will, disordered speech, and lack of self-awareness.
Poria (Fuling), Polygalae Radix (Yuanzhi), Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma (Renshen), Ophiopogonis Radix (Maidong), Cinnamomi Cortex (Guixin), Rehmanniae Radix Recens (Shengdihuang) (one version uses Shudihuang), Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui), Longgu (Dragon Teeth), White Peony Root (Baishaoyao), Antelope Horn (Lingyangjiao) (equal parts).
Grind the above herbs into powder. Take 2 qian per dose, at any time, mixed with warm water.
Longchi San (from *Shenghui Fang*, also known as Shugan Dihuang San): Treats postpartum Heart deficiency, startle palpitations, and unsettled mind.
Longgu (Dragon Teeth), Astragali Radix (Huangqi), Anemarrhenae Rhizoma (Baiwei), Rehmanniae Radix Recens (Shengdihuang) (1 liang each), Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma (Renshen), Poria Cum Radix Xylomi (Fushen), Polygalae Radix (Yuanzhi), Qianghuo, Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao), Cinnamomi Cortex (Guixin), Saposhnikoviae Radix (Fangfeng) (0.5 liang each).
One version lacks Dragon Teeth. Grind the above herbs into powder. Take 2 qian per dose, decoct in one cup of water until reduced to 0.6 cup, strain, and take warm.
Treats postpartum Heart Qi deficiency and damage, sudden fright and mania with incoherent speech, singing, crying, anger, or laughter, and unstable temperament. (From *Yonglei Linqing Fang*)
Superior grade Silver (1 sheng), Cinnamomi Cortex (Guixin), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao) (6 fen each), Asari Radix et Rhizoma (Xixin) (4 fen), Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma (Renshen), Fresh Ginger (Shengjiang), Polygalae Radix (Yuanzhi), Poria Cum Radix Xylomi (Fushen) (8 fen each).
Cut the above herbs, decoct in water, strain, and take warm.
Baiyangxin Tang (from *Shenghui Fang*): Treats postpartum internal deficiency, startle palpitations of the Heart spirit, indeterminate will, all caused by invasion of Wind pathogenic factors.

If there is slight Wind, add Angelicae Dahuricae Radix (Duhuo) 3 liang, Ephedrae Herba (Mahuang) 2 liang, and Cinnamomi Cortex (Guixin) 2 liang, using 1.5 dou of water. Chanru Qibao San (from *Yonglei Linqing Fang*): To be taken immediately after childbirth. Harmonizes blood and Qi, tonifies deficiency, calms the spirit, and suppresses startle palpitations.
Cinnabaris (Chensha), Cinnamomi Cortex (Guixin), Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui), Chuanxiong Rhizoma (Chuanxiong), Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma (Renshen), White Poria (Baifuling), Antelope Horn (Lingyangjiao) (burnt to retain properties, 2 qian each), Dried Ginger (Ganjiang) (1 qian, equal parts).
Grind the above herbs into powder. If feeling heart heat, reduce Ginger and Cinnamon; if cold, increase them. For abdominal pain, add Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui).
