Wu Wu: The pathogenic factor of Cold Damage has not resolved and has passed to another meridian. Delirium indicates the presence of steaming heat. Spontaneous diarrhea with a harmonious pulse suggests internal excess. For guest heat in the stomach, Tiaowei Chengqi Tang (Regulate the Stomach Order Qi Decoction) should be used.
Wu Ji: Heat accumulation occurs in the Bladder region. If there is bleeding from the lower orifice, the exterior should first be released and blood cooled. Once the exterior is resolved but the lower abdomen is tense and painful, Taoren Chengqi Tang (Peach Kernel Order Qi Decoction) should be applied.
Wu Geng: After purgation, the disease remains unresolved, presenting with chest fullness and irritability. Palpitations, delirium, and difficult urination occur. The whole body feels heavy and turning over is difficult. Longgu (Fossilized Bones), Chaihu (Bupleurum Root), and Muli (Oyster Shell) can calm the spirit.

Zhen Bing: Jie Xiong after six to seven days of Cold Damage shows a tight, deep pulse and hard epigastrium. Heat-excess pressing like stone requires Xianxiong Tang (Trap the Chest Decoction).
Zhen Ding: Heat binding for ten-plus days with water retention in the chest/hypochondrium, slight head sweat, and heart heat are all cleared by Xianxiong Tang (Trap the Chest Decoction).
Zhen Wu: Sweating followed by purgation causes difficult stool, dry tongue, thirst, and insomnia. Afternoon tidal fever starts from the epigastrium. Lower abdomen hardness for five-six days, pain extending to the umbilicus, intolerable to touch. Qi deficiency exacerbates internal suffering. Administer Xianxiong Tang (Trap the Chest Decoction) promptly to cure severe illness.
Zhen Ji: Slippery and floating pulse indicates shallow heat. Pain upon pressing the epigastrium requires Xiaoxianxiong Tang (Small Trap the Chest Decoction). This is Xiao Jie Xiong (Minor Chest Binding).
