凡热疮起。便生白脓。黄烂疮起即浅。但出黄汁。名肥疮。

热疮本于热盛。风气因而乘之。故特谓之热疮。盖阳盛则表热。形劳则腠疏。风邪得入。相

凡是热疮发作，就会生出白色的脓液。黄烂疮发作时位置较浅，只流出黄色的汁水，这种称为肥疮。
又有洪烛疮，身上突然长出像水泡一样的疮疡，如同沸水泼洒一般。严重的会出现半边头面部发红，伴有胸胁腰腹肿胀松弛，全身感觉如火烧般发热。
热疮的根本原因是体内热邪过盛，风气趁机侵袭人体，所以特别称之为热疮。大概是因为阳气亢盛则体表发热，形体劳累则腠理疏松，风邪得以侵入，与正气相搏结于皮肤之间、血气之内，聚集而不消散，因此蕴结形成疮疡。表现为红根白头，轻者出现水泡并流出汁液，重者腐烂化为脓血。热邪少于风邪则发痒，热邪盛于风邪则疼痛且肿胀。
方剂

When heat sores (Re Chuang, sores caused by heat pathogens) erupt, white pus is produced. When yellow-rotting sores appear, they are superficial and only exude yellow fluid; this is named Fei Chuang (Fat Sores).
There is also Hong Zhu Chuang (Candle-like Sores), where blisters suddenly appear on the body as if scalded by boiling water. In severe cases, one side of the head and face becomes red, accompanied by swelling and laxity in the chest, hypochondrium, waist, and abdomen, with the whole body feeling hot like fire.
The root cause of heat sores lies in excessive internal heat, which allows wind pathogens to invade opportunistically; hence it is specifically called "heat sore." Generally, when Yang qi is excessive, the exterior becomes hot; when the body is fatigued, the interstices (Cou Li, pores and muscle spaces) become loose, allowing wind pathogens to enter. They contend with healthy qi between the skin and within the blood and qi, gathering without dispersing, thus accumulating and forming sores. These present with red roots and white heads. In mild cases, blisters form and discharge fluid; in severe cases, tissue rots into pus and blood. When heat is less than wind, itching occurs; when heat exceeds wind, pain and swelling occur.
