胞转，是指膀胱屈曲偏斜，导致小便不通，这种病症称为胞转。其症状表现为脐下拘急疼痛，小便完全无法排出。此病有的由腹胀引起，有的因其他原因所致，都会导致此类病症。
石苇汤（又名鬼箭散）：治疗胞转导致的小便不通。
药材：石苇（去毛，一两）、榆白皮（锉碎，一升）、鬼箭羽（二两或三两）、滑石（捣碎，四两）、葵子、木通（锉碎）。
用法：上药捣筛为粗末，每次服用五钱匕，用水一盏半，煎至一盏，去渣，温服。
滑石汤：治疗胞转导致的小便不通。
药材：滑石（捣碎，一两）、乱发（烧成灰）、鲤鱼齿、雀粪（各一两或一分）、琥珀（半两）、芒硝（一分）。
用法：上药捣罗为散，每次服用二钱匕，用温水调下。
滑石散：治疗因热邪逼迫膀胱，或强忍小便，导致水气压迫归并于膀胱，使膀胱屈曲偏斜不能充盈胀大，外部水分应进入却不得入的情况。
药材：寒水石（二两）、白滑石（一两）、葵子（一合）、乱发灰、车前子、木通（去皮节，各一两）。
用法：上药锉碎，捣筛为散，每次服用三钱匕，用水一盏，煎至六分，去渣，温服。
琥珀汤：治疗胞转导致的小便不利，伴有烦闷感。
药材：琥珀、大黄（锉碎炒制）、滑石（捣碎，一两）、车前子、车前叶（各一两）。
用法：上药粗捣筛，每次服用二钱匕，用水一盏，煎至六分，去渣，温服。
通草汤：治疗胞转导致的小便不通。
药材：雀粪（半合）、车前子、滑石（各四两）、通草（一作木通）、芍药（各二两）。
用法：上药切碎罗匀，用水七升，煮取三升，分三次温服。
琥珀汤：治疗胞转导致脐下急满，或因霍乱而引发的病症。
药材：琥珀（研细，一两）、阿胶（炙燥后另捣，半两）、葱白（切，十四茎）、车前草（锉碎，三两；一方用种子）。
用法：先用清水煎煮葱白和车前草，去渣，加入琥珀和阿胶烊化，分三次温服。
治胞转导致的小便不通方：
药材：川大黄（一两，锉碎微炒）、琥珀（细研，一两）、车前叶（二两）。
用法：上药为末，每次服用四钱，用水一中盏，煎至五分，去渣，温服。
又方：

芍药汤：治疗胞转导致的小便不利。
药材：赤芍药、车前叶、木通（各一两）。
用法：上药细锉，每次服用五钱匕，用水一盏半，煎至一盏，去渣，温服。
滑石汤：治疗胞转，小便不通已持续八九日，男女皆适用。
药材：滑石（捣碎，一两半）、寒水石（捣碎，一两；一方用石膏）、冬葵子（半两）。
用法：上药粗捣筛，每次服用五钱匕，用水一盏半，煎至一盏，去渣，温服。
葱白汤：治疗小便突然暴发性不通，小腹胀急，气上冲心，闷绝欲死。此病由暴气乘袭膀胱，或从惊恐忧愁所致。
药材：陈皮（三两）、葵子（一两）、葱白（二茎）。
用法：上药锉散，用水五升，煮取二升，分三次服。
洗方：治疗胞转导致的小便不通，需先使用此法。
药材：良姜、葱头、紫苏叶（各一握）。
用法：上药煎汤，在密闭室内熏洗小腹、外肾及肛门，保留药汤以便添加，蘸棉擦洗。
蜀葵子方：
药材：蜀葵子（二钱半）、赤茯苓、赤芍药、白芍药（各半两）。
用法：上药锉散，每次服用三钱，煎取清汁，乘热服。
蒲黄散：治疗胞转导致的小便不通，经过三四天病情危重欲死。
药材：蒲黄、滑石（各一两）。
用法：上药捣罗为散，每次服用二钱匕，用鸡蛋清调下。一方用温酒调服，一方用水调服。
治胞转欲死及不能排尿方：
用法：取豆酱清调和灶突中的墨，如豆大小，纳入阴孔中，立愈。
治胞转导致的小便不通方：
药材：吸芥真琥珀（一两）、葱白（十四茎）。
用法：用水四升，煮取三升，去葱白，将琥珀末细筛后纳入汤中，分次温服。
乱发散：治疗强忍小便不时想解，导致胞转小便不通，四五天后病情危重欲死，无脉象，服用此方可痊愈。
药材：滑石（二两）、乱发（三两，烧成灰）。
用法：上两味药捣筛，取生桃白皮一斤熟煮，加水合绞，得汁二升，调服药散，每次服用方寸匕。
治胞转导致的小便不通方：
用法：鸡蛋一枚，敲破取蛋黄，用温水调服之。不超过三次即可。
秦艽汤：治疗胞转导致的小便不通。
药材：秦艽（不拘多少，去苗土）。
用法：上药粗捣筛，每次服用五钱，用水一盏半，煎至一盏，去渣，温服。
车前草饮：治疗胞转急骤导致的小便不通。
药材：车前草（一握，去根洗净锉碎）。
用法：用水三盏，煎至二盏，去渣，分三次服，连并服下，不拘时间。一方用法相同。
治饱食后或强忍小便，或骑马急行时强忍小便，或剧烈奔跑及房事后，皆会导致胞转，出现脐下急满不通。
用法：用乱头发，急缠绞如拳大，烧为末，醋四合，搅令和匀，服用二方寸匕。服完后，即炒熟黑豆叶蹲坐其上。
治胞转导致的小便不通：
用法：用阿胶三两，水二升，煮取七合，顿服。
又方：
用法：用豉五合，水三升，煮数沸，顿服之。
又方：
用法：用连枷简烧灰，水送服。
又方：
用法：用笔头烧灰，水送服。
又方：
用法：烧死蜣螂二枚为末，水送服。
又方：
用法：将白鱼子纳入阴茎孔中。
又方：
用法：用酒调和猪脂如鸡子大，顿服之。

用法：用炒盐半斤，装入袋中熨烫小腹。
治强忍小便导致的胞转：
用法：用自己爪甲烧灰，水送服。

用法：取梁上尘三指撮，用水送服。
治小便久滞导致胞转：
用法：以蒲黄包裹腰肾部位，令头至地，反复三次则通。一方取蒲黄服用三四钱，早午晚日三服，效果良好。
Baozhuan (Bladder Retroversion) refers to the condition where the bladder is twisted or deviated, resulting in urinary retention. This disease is characterized by urgent pain below the umbilicus and complete inability to urinate. The etiology may involve abdominal distension or other factors, all leading to this pathological state.
Shiwei Tang (Stone Fern Decoction), also known as Guijian San (Ghost Arrow Powder): Treats Baozhuan with urinary retention.
Ingredients: Shiwei (Pyrrosiae Folium, 1 liang, remove hairs), Yubai Pi (Ulmus Alba Cortex, 1 sheng, sliced), Guijian Yu (Eucommiae Ramulus cum Folio, 2-3 liang), Huashi (Talcum, 4 liang, crushed), Kuizizi (Malvae Semen, amount unspecified), Mutong (Akebiae Caulis, sliced).
Administration: Coarsely grind the ingredients into powder. Take 5 qian bi per dose, decoct with 1.5 zhan of water until reduced to 1 zhan, strain, and take warm.
Huashi Tang (Talcum Decoction): Treats Baozhuan with urinary retention.
Ingredients: Huashi (Talcum, 1 liang, crushed), Luankui (Human Hair Ash, burnt), Liyu Chi (Cyprinus Carpio Teeth), Quefen (Sturnidae Excrement, each 1 liang or 1 fen), Hupo (Amber, 0.5 liang), Mangxiao (Natrii Sulfas, 1 fen).
Administration: Grind into fine powder. Take 2 qian bi per dose, mix with warm water for administration.
Huashi San (Talcum Powder): Treats cases where heat pathogen forces the bladder, or urine holding causes water qi to compress and gather in the bladder, leading to deviation and inability to expand, preventing external fluids from entering.
Ingredients: Hanshui Shi (Calcitum, 2 liang), Baihuashi (White Talcum, 1 liang), Kuizizi (Malvae Semen, 1 he), Luankui Hui (Human Hair Ash), Cheqianzi (Plantaginis Semen), Mutong (Akebiae Caulis, remove nodes, each 1 liang).
Administration: Slice and sieve coarsely. Take 3 qian bi per dose, decoct with 1 zhan of water until reduced to 60%, strain, and take warm.
Hupo Tang (Amber Decoction): Treats Baozhuan with difficult urination accompanied by irritability and oppression.
Ingredients: Hupo (Amber), Dahuang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma, sliced and stir-fried), Huashi (Talcum, 1 liang, crushed), Cheqianzi (Plantaginis Semen), Cheqianyie (Plantaginis Folium, each 1 liang).
Administration: Coarsely crush and sieve. Take 2 qian bi per dose, decoct with 1 zhan of water until reduced to 60%, strain, and take warm.
Tongcao Tang (Tetrapanacis Medulla Decoction): Treats Baozhuan with inability to urinate.
Ingredients: Quefen (Sturnidae Excrement, 0.5 he), Cheqianzi (Plantaginis Semen), Huashi (Talcum, each 4 liang), Tongcao (Tetrapanacis Medulla, alternatively Mutong), Shaoyao (Paeoniae Radix, each 2 liang).
Administration: Cut and sieve evenly. Decoct with 7 zhan of water until reduced to 3 zhan, divide into three doses, and take warm.
Hupo Tang (Amber Decoction): Treats Baozhuan with urgent fullness below the umbilicus, possibly caused by Huoluan (Cholera-like syndrome).
Ingredients: Hupo (Amber, finely ground, 1 liang), Ejiao (Colla Corii Asini, roasted dry and separately pounded, 0.5 liang), Congbai (Allii Fistulosi Bulbus, cut, 14 stems), Cheqiancao (Plantaginis Herba, sliced, 3 liang; alternative uses seeds).
Administration: First decoct Congbai and Cheqiancao, remove dregs, dissolve Hupo and Ejiao, divide into three doses, and take warm.
Formula for treating Baozhuan with urinary retention:
Ingredients: Chuan Dahuang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma, 1 liang, sliced and slightly stir-fried), Hupo (Amber, finely ground, 1 liang), Cheqianyie (Plantaginis Folium, 2 liang).
Administration: Grind into powder. Take 4 qian per dose, decoct with 1 zhong zhan of water until reduced to 0.5 zhan, strain, and take warm.
Another Formula:
Ingredients: Luankui (Human Hair Ash, 3 liang, burnt), Huashi (Talcum, 2 liang), Chuan Mangxiao (Natrii Sulfas, 1 liang).
Administration: Finely grind and mix evenly. Pound 1 jin of Taobai Pi (Prunus Persica Cortex) with water, squeeze out juice, and mix with the powder for administration.
Shaoyao Tang (Paeonia Decoction): Treats Baozhuan with difficult urination.
Ingredients: Chishao Yao (Radix Paeoniae Rubra), Cheqianyie (Plantaginis Folium), Mutong (Akebiae Caulis, each 1 liang).
Administration: Finely slice. Take 5 qian bi per dose, decoct with 1.5 zhan of water until reduced to 1 zhan, strain, and take warm.
Huashi Tang (Talcum Decoction): Treats Baozhuan with urinary retention persisting for 8-9 days, applicable to both men and women.
Ingredients: Huashi (Talcum, 1.5 liang, crushed), Hanshui Shi (Calcitum, 1 liang, crushed; alternative uses Shigao/Gypsum Fibrosum), Dongkuizizi (Malvae Semen, 0.5 liang).
Administration: Coarsely crush and sieve. Take 5 qian bi per dose, decoct with 1.5 zhan of water until reduced to 1 zhan, strain, and take warm.
Congbai Tang (Scallion Decoction): Treats sudden acute urinary retention, lower abdominal distension and urgency, Qi rushing to the heart, suffocation and near-death sensation. Caused by violent Qi attacking the Bladder or due to fright and worry.
Ingredients: Chenpi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium, 3 liang), Kuizizi (Malvae Semen, 1 liang), Congbai (Allii Fistulosi Bulbus, 2 stems).
Administration: Slice into pieces. Decoct with 5 sheng of water until reduced to 2 sheng, divide into three doses.
Wash Formula: For use prior to treating Baozhuan with urinary retention.
Ingredients: Liangjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma, 1 handful), Congtou (Allii Fistulosi Bulbus, 1 handful), Zisuye (Perillae Folium, 1 handful).
Administration: Decoct in water. Fumigate and wash the lower abdomen, external genitalia, and anus in a sealed room. Retain the liquid for repeated washing using cotton.
Shukui Zi Formula:
Ingredients: Shukui Zi (Althaeae Semen, 2.5 qian), Chi Fuling (Poria Cocos with Red Skin, 0.5 liang), Chishao Yao (Radix Paeoniae Rubra, 0.5 liang), Baishao Yao (Radix Paeoniae Alba, 0.5 liang).
Administration: Slice into pieces. Take 3 qian per dose, decoct to obtain clear liquid, and take while hot.
Puhuang San (Lygodii Spora Powder): Treats Baozhuan with urinary retention, critical condition after 3-4 days.
Ingredients: Puhuang (Lygodii Spora, 1 liang), Huashi (Talcum, 1 liang).
Administration: Grind and sieve into powder. Take 2 qian bi per dose, mix with egg white for administration. Alternative methods include mixing with warm wine or water.
Formula for critical Baozhuan and anuria:
Administration: Mix Qingdou Jiangqing (Clear Juice of Fermented Soybean Paste) with Mocong Zhutu (Soot from Chimney Flue) in bean-sized amounts, insert into the urethral opening, and cure immediately.
Formula for treating Baozhuan with urinary retention:
Ingredients: Xi Jie Zhen Hupo (True Amber, 1 liang), Congbai (Allii Fistulosi Bulbus, 14 stems).
Administration: Decoct with 4 sheng of water until reduced to 3 sheng, remove Congbai, sift Hupo powder finely, add to the decoction, and take in divided doses.
Luansan San (Human Hair Powder): Treats conditions arising from holding urine, leading to Baozhuan and anuria, critical after 4-5 days with absent pulse.
Ingredients: Huashi (Talcum, 2 liang), Luankui (Human Hair Ash, 3 liang, burnt).
Administration: Grind and sieve the two ingredients. Boil 1 jin of fresh Taobai Pi (Prunus Persica Cortex), squeeze juice with water, mix with powder, take 1 fang cun bi per dose.
Formula for treating Baozhuan with urinary retention:
Administration: Crack one chicken egg, take the yolk, mix with warm water, and swallow. Repeat up to three times.
Qinjiao Tang (Gentian Decoction): Treats Baozhuan with urinary retention.
Ingredients: Qin Jiao (Gentianae Macrophyllae Radix, appropriate amount, remove roots and soil).
Administration: Coarsely crush and sieve. Take 5 qian per dose, decoct with 1.5 zhan of water until reduced to 1 zhan, strain, and take warm.
Cheqian Cao Yin (Plantago Herbal Drink): Treats acute Baozhuan with sudden urinary retention.
Ingredients: Cheqian Cao (Plantaginis Herba, 1 handful, remove roots, wash clean, slice).
Administration: Decoct with 3 zhan of water until reduced to 2 zhan, strain, divide into three doses, take consecutively, time not restricted.
Treatment for Baozhuan caused by overeating, holding urine, riding horses while holding urine, vigorous running, or sexual intercourse, resulting in urgent lower abdominal fullness and obstruction:
Administration: Tie loose hair tightly into a ball size, burn to ash, mix with 4 he of vinegar, take 2 fang cun bi. After ingestion, sit on fried black soybean leaves.
Formula for treating Baozhuan with urinary retention:
Administration: Use 3 liang of Ejiao (Colla Corii Asini), decoct with 2 sheng of water until reduced to 0.7 sheng, take in one dose.
Another Formula:
Administration: Use 5 he of Chi Dou (Sojaes Semen Preparatum), decoct with 3 sheng of water for a few boils, take in one dose.
Another Formula:
Administration: Burn Lianjia Jian (Loom Reed) to ash, take with water.

Administration: Burn pen tip to ash, take with water.

Administration: Burn two dead Dung Beetles (Scarabaeus) to ash, take with water.

Treatment for Baozhuan with inability to pass urine:
Administration: Use 0.5 jin of stir-fried salt, place in a bag, and apply hot compress to the lower abdomen.
Treatment for Baozhuan caused by holding urine:
Administration: Burn own fingernails/claws to ash, take with water.
Treatment for chronic urinary retention leading to Baozhuan:
Administration: Take three finger-pinches of dust from roof beams, take with water.
Treatment for chronic urinary retention leading to Baozhuan:
Administration: Wrap Puhuang (Lygodii Spora) around the waist/kidneys, bend head down to the ground, repeat three times until通畅 (patency achieved). Alternative: Take 3-4 qian of Puhuang, three times daily (morning, noon, evening).
Formula for sudden urinary retention and Baozhuan:
Administration: Roast Sangpiaoxiao (Mantidis Oötheca), grind to powder, take half a zhan with rice water, three times daily.
Formula for treating Baozhuan with urinary retention:
Administration: Roll person in reed mat, invert upside down with head to the ground, reverse position three times until通畅 (patency achieved).
