[Attached Discussion]
The condition known as "Yi Lou" (Ant Fistula, a type of fistula resembling ant holes) arises from the ingestion of toxins associated with the essence of ants through diet. These toxins enter the Five Zang Organs and flow into the meridians. The disease often manifests on the neck and head but can also spread throughout the body. Its characteristics include small swellings and fine nodules.
[Formulas]
Lingqi Jia San (Pangolin Scale Powder): Treats Yi Lou.
Ingredients: Pangolin scales (one liang, roasted until yellow), Ming Fan (Alum, one liang, wrapped in mud and stir-fried for half a day), Red-footed centipede (one piece, roasted until yellow), Rooster breast skin (one piece, roasted dry). Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Mix with three-year-old good vinegar to form a paste and apply it to the wound.
Another formula for Yi Lou:
Ingredients: Realgar (Xionghuang) and Orpiment (Cihuang) in equal parts. Grind these ingredients finely and apply directly to the wound.
Sishe Shu Gao (Dead Snake Rat Ointment): Treats Yi Lou and Shu Lou (Scrofula/Lymphatic Tuberculosis).
Take rats found inside dead snakes. Use lard from the twelfth lunar month to fry them until charred. Strain the residue and apply the oil to the affected area. Alternatively, burn dead rats to ash, grind into a fine powder, and apply to the wound.
Another method:
Use [missing character, likely referring to feces or specific soil] and plowed field soil. Burn them until red-hot. Soak the soil in vinegar (Ku Jiu) while mixing it with wall soil to make it hot. Apply this hot mixture to the wound.
Lingqi Jia Gao (Pangolin Scale Ointment): Treats Yi Lou.
Take fourteen pangolin scales. Burn them into a fine powder. Mix with pig fat (Zhu Gao) and apply to the wound. Carp scales may also be used.
Another Formula:
Take one Pinellia ternata tuber (Banxia). Pound it into a fine powder. Mix with duck fat (Ya Zhi) and apply to the wound. If duck fat is unavailable, mix with water instead.
Another Formula:
Burn rooster manure to ash, grind finely, and apply to the wound. Use three times daily.
Duo Tu Fu Fang (Bell Application Formula): Treats Yi Lou.
Burn [Bell/Metal object 'Duo'] to ash, grind finely. Mix with vinegar to form a paste and apply to the wound. Use three times daily; immediate recovery is expected.
Another Formula:
Grind mole crickets (Lougu) finely with wine. Apply to the wound. Use three to five times daily for recovery.
Apply crushed Perilla frutescens leaves (Shuisu) to the affected area.
Formula for Yi Lou with deep needle-like holes or multiple holes:
Burn turtle shell (Bie Pi), turtle liver (Bie Gan), and turtle heart (Bie Xin) to ash. Grind into powder. Take one qian and half with wine. Alternatively, roast until yellow, grind, and take orally.
Treatment for Yi Lou malignant sores:
Take yellow-brown birds (described as shaped like turtledoves, greenish-brown, making sounds like children blowing flutes). Marinate with five flavors and roast. Consume the meat.
