瘰疬、瘤气、鬼疰、忤气。将药物研成细末，调和青木香外敷于风疮肿毒恶疮处。
治疗瘰疬、疥疮及其他疮疡。
用蟾蜍屎。其形状像槟榔。在土穴中或台阶缝隙间可以找到。新鲜的单独一块且质地柔软，这就是蟾蜍屎。将其细细研磨，用油调匀后涂抹。
治疗疮疡瘰疬的方剂。
用槲白皮三斤，切成细丝。加水七升，煮至三升，滤去药渣。加入真朱砂一方寸匕的量，研磨混合，得到汁液一升。早晨面向太阳服用。服后不久会吐出老鼠形状的物体。早晨服用效果良好。另一版本不使用朱砂。
清凉散（出自《圣济总录》）治疗颈部下方生瘰疬。
不论病程新旧，若有热象均可服用。取龙胆草拣净后研为散剂。每次服用一钱匕，可用米汤调服。饭后及睡前服用。天气阴沉时不可服用。
治疗已破溃的瘰疬。（出自《传信适用方》）
用羯羊粪焙干后研为细末。用油调匀涂抹，若疮面湿润则撒干粉。
治疗瘰疬枭炙方。
用猫头鹰一只，按常规方法取肉烤熟。饭后用五味汁送服。
治疗颈部瘰疬。（出自《肘后方》）
用将死的小儿脚踩踏患处即可痊愈。
何首乌膏 治疗瘰疬。无论是否破溃，甚至蔓延至胸前的，都能治疗。
用九真藤根。其根大小如鸡蛋。洗净后生嚼常服。也可取叶子捣烂敷在疮上。服用几次后即可停止。此药久服可黑发延年。或者采摘头部数量为九的植株服用，便可成仙。这种药的果实像杏子，根部也类似菟丝子。使用它如同神助。（注：九真藤即何首乌）

用白僵蚕炙烤后研末过筛。用水送服五分。七天服用三次。

取猫张口时流出的涎液，磨解毒丸敷于患处。

用一个猫头，炙烤后捣碎过筛。用饮液送服一方寸匕。每日两次。

猫脑骨散（出自《千金方》）治疗瘰疬，又治疗鼠瘘。
猫脑骨、莽草
以上各等分研为细末，纳入孔窍中。
升麻调经汤（出自《东垣试效方》）治疗下颌或颊下瘰疬。这被称为出自足阳明胃经。如果疮位深在阴曲肌肉底部，则是出自足少阴肾经。这是戊土传癸水之肾，称为夫传妻。肿块都呈块状坚硬，大小不等，本方均能治疗。也可以制成丸剂服用。
升麻（八钱，炙） 葛根（五钱，锉） 龙胆草（酒制炒） 黄芩（刮去皮，酒浸半两） 当归尾（三钱） 桔梗（半两） 连翘（半两，去心） 芍药（三钱，炒） 黄柏（去皮，酒炒二钱） 知母（酒炒一两） 黄连（去须五钱） 莪术（酒炒五钱） 京三棱（碎切，酒炒五钱） 甘草（炙半两） 生黄芪（四钱）。以上药材另称一半量研为细末，用蜜制成如绿豆大的丸剂。每次服用一百丸，或一百五十丸。另一半量作为粗末（咀），每次称取半两。如果患者食欲好且大便硬，可逐渐增加至七八钱为止。加水两盏，先浸泡大半日，煎至一盏，滤去药渣，趁热服用。服药后垫高脚部低卧，含一口药液分十次咽下，留一口在后送服丸子。药毕后正常平卧。这是制法缓慢之意。
白药散（出自《卫生家宝》）治疗瘰疬疮。
用白药子不拘多少研为细末。临睡前用冷米汤或冷水调服一钱。
治疗瘰疬子方。
龙脑（一两，研） 薄荷（一两，干） 皂角（一两，去皮酥炸不焦黑，去子用）。以上研为细末。用盐豉一合，醋浸软后同捣适宜。如果太硬加醋。制成如绿豆大的丸剂。每次服用十丸，冷水送下。不限时间，每日三四次。忌食咸、甜、动风等食物。
龙泉散（出自《东垣试效方》）治疗颈部上方瘰疬、马刀。先将出脓的疮口用四棱铁环按住固定，不让其移动。切开疮口，用油药纸捻引流。千万不要让疮口愈合，以绝其疮之源，疗效极快。如果疮未破，或患者本人不愿破溃，再用此散涂抹。
瓦松（研极细） 龙泉粉（各半两，炒至半润湿状态另研） 昆布（去土三钱或五钱） 莪术、京三棱（各半两，酒制锉炒）。以上研为细末，用煎熟的水调匀涂抹。用此法去病尤快，一至两天更换一次。
克效散（出自《卫生家宝方》）治疗瘰疬疮。
斑蝥（四十九个，不去翅足） 官桂（半钱） 粳米（四十九粒） 赤小豆（四十九粒） 硼砂。以上研为细末。初次服用一钱，第二次服用二钱，第三次服用三钱，第四次服用四钱。用樟柳根汤煎服。空腹服用。小便淋漓为有效。恶心呕吐黄水无妨。瘰疬会日渐自行消退。
玉烛丸 治疗瘰疬自消，调和血脉，疏通经络。
当归、芍药、大黄、甘草、熟地黄、芒硝、川芎（以上各等分）。以上研为粗末。每次服用三钱。加水一盏，生姜三片，煎至七分，滤去药渣温服。每日进服一次，七八天见效。
治疗瘰疬。
瞿麦、海藻、凌霄花、北壁背阴虫（别研）、皂角刺（新鲜的）。以上各等分研为细末。每次服用三钱。米汤调服。饭后每日两次。
麝粉散 治疗瘰疬未破与已破者急迫红肿疼痛。
蓖麻子（四十九粒，去皮） 葵菜子（半两，炒） 轻粉（半钱，研） 麝香（别研一钱）。以上研为细末。每次服用一钱。温酒调服。日午和临卧各服一次。小便如米泔色时，不可再服。只可服用解毒散来解之。
解毒散 治疗瘰疬已经宣发积聚毒素后，尚未消退者宜服。

Scrofula (Lump disease), tumor qi, ghost transmission, and counterflow qi. Grind the herbs into fine powder, mix with Qingmuxiang (Aucklandiae Radix) and apply externally to wind sores, swellings, and malignant ulcers.
Treating scrofula.
Burn dhole feces to ash and apply topically.
Treating scrofula, tinea capitis (ringworm), and other sores.
Use toad feces. They resemble betel nuts. They can be found in earth holes or between steps. Fresh ones are soft and separate easily; this is toad feces. Grind finely, mix with oil, and apply.
Treating scrofula and tinea corporis (ringworm).
Apply blood from eels to the affected area.
Formula for treating sores and scrofula.
Take three jin of Qu Bai Pi (Quercus variabilis bark), cut finely. Add seven sheng of water, boil down to three sheng, remove dregs. Add one fangcunbi of Zhen Zhusha (Cinnabar), grind and mix well to obtain one sheng of liquid. Take in the morning facing the sun. Shortly after ingestion, rats will be vomited out. Morning administration is effective. Another version does not use Cinnabar.
Qingliang San (Cooling Powder) (from *Shengji Zonglu*) treats scrofula occurring below the neck.
Regardless of whether the condition is new or chronic, if there is heat, it can be taken. Select Longdan Cao (Gentianae Radix), clean it, and grind into powder. Take one qianbi per dose. It can be taken mixed with rice drink. Take after meals and before sleep. Do not take on cloudy days.
Treating ruptured scrofula. (from *Chuanxin Shiyong Fang*)
Bake sheep manure until dry, grind into powder. Mix with oil for topical application; if the sore is wet, sprinkle dry powder.
Another prescription
Grind Ricini Semen (Castor Bean) finely, mix with vinegar to form a paste, and apply. It has great efficacy.
Xiao Zhi Formula for Treating Scrofula.
Take one owl. Remove the meat and roast it according to standard methods. Take after meals with Wuwei Zhi (Five-flavor juice).
Treating initial onset of all types of scrofula sores.
Grind Fritillariae Bulbus (Beimu) into fine powder. Take as a single dose before meals, washed down with wine.
Treating cervical scrofula. (from *Zhouhou Fang*)
Step on the affected area with the feet of a child who is about to die; it will heal immediately.
Heshouwu Gao (Polygoni Multiflori Paste) treats scrofula. Whether ruptured or not, even if it extends to the chest, it can be treated.
Use Jiuzhen Teng root. The root is as large as a chicken egg. Wash it, chew raw, and take regularly. Alternatively, take the leaves, crush them, and cover the sore. After several doses, stop. This herb, taken long-term, darkens hair and prolongs life. Or, harvest plants where the head count is nine and take them; one may become immortal. The fruit resembles apricot, and the root resembles Dodonaeae Fructus (Tusi). Its use is miraculous. (Note: Jiuzhen Teng is Heshouwu / Polygonum multiflorum).
Treating scrofula (from *Qianjin Fang*).
Roast Bombyx Batryticatus (Jiangcan), grind, and sieve. Take five fen with water. Take three times over seven days.
Another prescription (from *Ren Cun Fang*)
Collect saliva from an open-mouthed cat, grind into Jiedu Wan (Detoxification Pills), and apply.
Another prescription (from *Ren Cun Fang*)
Roast one cat head, crush, and sieve. Take one fangcunbi with drink. Twice daily.
Another prescription (from *Shenghui Fang*)
Apply fox head to the affected area.

Crush Firmum Folium (Firmiana simplex leaf) into ash, sift through silk, mix with honey, and apply. Change when dry.
Maonaogu San (Cat Brain Bone Powder) (from *Qianjin Fang*) treats scrofula and also treats rat fistula.
Maonaogu (Cat Brain Bone) and Macao (Illicium anisatum)
Grind equal parts into fine powder and insert into the orifice.
Shengma Tiaojing Tang (Cimicifugae Decoction for Regulating Menstruation) (from *Dongyuan Shixiao Fang*) treats scrofula under the jaw or cheek. This is said to originate from the Foot Yangming Stomach meridian. If the sore is deep in the Yinqu muscle base, it originates from the Foot Shaoyin Kidney meridian. This is Earth transmitting to Water-Kidney, called husband transmitting to wife. All present as hard lumps of unequal size; this formula treats all. It can also be made into pills.
Shengma (Cimicifugae Rhizoma, 8 qian, processed with honey) Gegen (Puerariae Radix, 5 qian, sliced) Dancao (Gentianae Radix, wine-processed stir-fried) Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix, scraped skin, wine-soaked half liang) Dangguiwei (Angelicae Sinensis Radix tail, 3 qian) Jiegeng (Platycodonis Radix, half liang) Lianqiao (Forsythiae Fructum, half liang, heart removed) Shaoyao (Paeoniae Radix, 3 qian, stir-fried) Huangbai (Phellodendri Cortex, skin removed, wine-processed stir-fried 2 qian) Zhimu (Anemarrhenae Rhizoma, wine-processed stir-fried 1 liang) Huanglian (Coptidis Rhizoma, stamens removed, 5 qian) Ezhu (Curcumae Rhizoma, wine-processed stir-fried 5 qian) Jing Sanleng (Sparganii Rhizoma, crushed, wine-processed stir-fried 5 qian) Gancao (Licorice Root, processed with honey, half liang) Sheng Huangqi (Astragali Radix, 4 qian). Weigh half of the total amount separately, grind into powder, and make pills with honey the size of mung beans. Take 100 pills per dose, or 150 pills. The remaining half should be prepared as coarse pieces (ju). Weigh half a liang per dose. If the patient has good appetite and hard stool, increase gradually up to 7-8 qian. Add two zhan of water, soak for more than half a day, decoct to one zhan, remove dregs, and take hot while lying down with feet elevated and head low. Hold one mouthful of liquid and swallow in ten sips, saving the last mouthful to wash down the pills. After medication, lie normally. This represents a slow-acting preparation method.
Baiyao San (White Medicine Powder) (from *Weisheng Jiabao*) treats scrofula sores.
Take Baiyaizi (Stemonae Radix) in any amount, grind into powder. Before bed, take one qian mixed with cold rice drink or cold water.
Formula for treating scrofula nodes.
Longnao (Borneolum Syntheticum, 1 liang, ground) Bohe (Menthae Haplocalycis Herba, 1 liang, dried) Zaojiao (Gleditsiae Fructus, 1 liang, skin removed, fried with butter until not blackened, seeds removed). Grind all into fine powder. Take one he of Yanchi (Salted Fermented Soybeans), soak in vinegar until soft, pound together appropriately. Add vinegar if too hard. Make pills the size of mung beans. Take ten pills per dose with cold water. Time is not restricted. Take three to four times daily. Avoid salty, sweet, and wind-aggravating foods.
Longquan San (Dragon Spring Powder) (from *Dongyuan Shixiao Fang*) treats scrofula and "horse knife" (linear scrofula) above the neck. Press the existing sore firmly with a square iron ring to prevent movement. Make an incision, use oiled paper wicks for drainage. Do not let the wound close; this cuts off the source of the sore, yielding very fast results. If the sore is unruptured or the patient refuses rupture, apply this powder instead.
Wasong (Sedum aizoon, ground extremely fine) Longquanfen (Dragon Spring Powder, half liang each, stir-fried until semi-moist, ground separately) Kunbu (Laminariae Thallus, soil removed, 3 qian or 5 qian) Ezhu (Curcumae Rhizoma) Jing Sanleng (Sparganii Rhizoma, half liang each, wine-processed, sliced, stir-fried). Grind all into fine powder. Mix with boiled water and apply. This removes disease quickly. Change once every one to two days.
Kexiao San (Effective Powder) (from *Weisheng Jiabao Fang*) treats scrofula sores.
Banmao (Mylabris, 49 individuals, wings and legs not removed) Guanzi (Cinnamomi Cortex, half qian) Jingsmi (Oryza Glutinica Semen, 49 grains) Chixiaodou (Vigna Angularis Semen, 49 grains) Pengsha (Borax). Grind all into fine powder. Initial dose: one qian. Second dose: two qian. Third dose: three qian. Fourth dose: four qian. Take with decoction of Zhangliugen (Cinnamomum camphora root). Take on an empty stomach. Urinary dribbling indicates efficacy. Nausea, vomiting of yellow fluid are acceptable. Scrofula will dissipate daily.
Yuzhu Wan (Jade Candle Pill) treats spontaneous resolution of scrofula, harmonizing blood and unblocking meridians.
Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix) Shaoyao (Paeoniae Radix) Dahuang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma) Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) Shudihuang (Rehmanniae Radix Preparata) Mangxiao (Natrii Sulfas) Chuanxiong (Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma) (All equal parts). Grind into coarse powder. Take three qian per dose. Add one zhan of water and three slices of Shengjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens). Decoct to seven tenths, remove dregs, and take warm. Take once daily. Effective within seven to eight days.

Qumai (Dianthi Herba) Haizao (Sargassum) Lingxiaohua (Campsis Grandiflorae Flos) Beibi Chong (Insect from north wall shade, ground separately) Zaocius Spina (Gleditsiae Spina, fresh). Equal parts, grind into powder. Take three qian per dose. Mix with rice drink. Take twice daily after meals.
Shefen San (Musk Powder) treats urgent redness and pain in scrofula nodes, both unruptured and ruptured.
Bimazi (Ricini Semen, 49 grains, skin removed) Kucaizi (Abutili Semen, half liang, stir-fried) Qingfen (Calomelas, half qian, ground) Shexiang (Moschus, ground separately, one qian). Grind all into fine powder. Take one qian per dose. Take warm with wine. One dose at noon and one before bed. When urine becomes like rice water, stop taking. Only then can Jiedu San (Detoxification Powder) be used to resolve it.
Jiedu San (Detoxification Powder) is suitable for scrofula nodes that have already discharged accumulated toxins but have not yet subsided.
Zaojiao Zi (Gleditsiae Fructus Seed, 100 grains, thorns removed, stir-fried to black) Lianqiao (Forsythiae Fructum, one and a half liang) Boheye (Menthae Haplocalycis Folium, half liang, sun-dried) Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, three and a half qian, half raw, half processed with honey) Jiegeng (Platycodonis Radix). Grind all into fine powder. Take one qian per dose. Mix with tea or wine as desired after meals.
Formula for treating rat fistula.
Xinshi (Arsenic Trioxide, ground with mung beans) Banmao (Mylabris, ground, wings and legs removed). Make pills with flour paste, coat with Huangdan (Red Lead). Break when using. Soak in vinegar overnight. First moxa the sore, then apply this.

Baizhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma) Baifuling (Poria) Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) Huangqi (Astragali Radix) Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix, washed with good wine) Binglang (Arecae Semen) Heiqianniu (Ipomoeae Pes-caprae Semen, half raw, half cooked) Baizhi (Angelicae Dahuricae Radix) Mituoseng (Galena) Baishaoyao (Paeoniae Radix Alba) (All one liang). Grind into fine powder, make pills with paste the size of mustard seeds. Children: seven pills. Adults: ten to fifteen pills. Take with Dengxin Tang (Junci Medulla Decoction). Avoid onions, vegetables, greasy food, sexual activity, and alcohol. Avoid anger. Pregnant women must not take. Fuyuan Tongqi San acts immediately.
Treating scrofula sores causing vomiting.
Take Ruxiang San (Frankincense Powder), decoct with Gancao (Licorice), mix and take until calm. In *Jisheng*, it is named Neituo San (Internal Support Powder). The explanation is very detailed.
