朱砂 雄黄 上为末。调醋滴入鼻中。
（附论）
心，是精气的汇聚之处，也是神志居住的宅舍。如果心气不足，就会导致精神衰弱，邪气便会趁虚而入，从而引发鬼魅之病。其症状表现为让人气息短促。
方剂：
阿魏散：治疗梦中与鬼物交合，以及狐狸精魅等病症。
配方：野狐皮（焙干炙烤）、豹鼻（焙干，各七枚）、狐头骨（一具，炙烤）、雄黄（一两）、腽肭脐（一两）、鬼箭羽（烧成灰）。若用骨头，需松脂。使用时分次服用。
雄黄散：治疗五脏六腑气虚，魂不守舍，魄失所归，五脏不安，忽喜忽悲，恐惧仿佛有鬼物存在，这些症状皆由大惊所致。
配方：雄黄（一两，细研）、黄芩（半两）、黄连（三分，去须）、黄柏（一分，锉碎）、川大黄（半两，锉碎，微炒）、吴茱萸（半两）、蒲黄。用酒调服一钱。
另一方：
九精丸：治疗感受鬼魅邪气，惊怖悲啼，发作无常。又名九物牛黄丸。
配方：牛黄（研，二两）、荆实（二两）、曾青（研，二两）、五屑（研，二两）、雄黄（研，二两）、空青（研，二两）。制成丸药。饭前温服一丸。
黄环丸：治疗邪气鬼魅，脉象显示人迎穴和气口穴脉搏时大时小。
配方：黄环（五两）、琥珀（研，二两）、丹砂（研，二两）、生银（水磨细，二两）、龙胆（二两）、白头翁、蚯蚓。煮面糊和药制成丸药。
煞鬼五邪丸：治疗被邪气鬼魅缠身，胡言乱语，狂跑乱走，神情恍惚，不认识人。
配方：丹砂（研，一两半）、龙骨（一两半）、鬼臼（去毛，炙，一两半）、赤小豆（一两半）、鬼箭羽（去茎，二两）。捣罗为细末。小儿用量酌情减少。每日服用。
大杀鬼丸：杜绝一切鬼魅魍魉。
配方：虎头骨（三两）、雄黄（一两，研细）、鬼臼（一两，去发）、天雄（一两，去脐）、皂荚（去子及皮，一两）。治疗疰病、为患者所用。
虎爪丸：治疗狂邪鬼魅，胡言乱语，狂跑乱走，神情恍惚，不认识人。又名杀鬼丸。
配方：虎爪（烧，三两）、丹砂（细研，一作赤朱）、雄黄（研细）、蟹爪（烧，各一两）。除已研碎者外，其余捣为细末。即……
四物鸢头散：治疗鬼魅。
配方：东海鸢头（是由拔根）、黄牙石（又名金牙）、防葵（各一分）、莨菪子（一分，水淘去浮者，水煮金复……又方）。
又一方：治疗女人与鬼物交合，独自说笑，或悲伤思念，神情恍惚。
配方：雄黄、人参、防风（各一两）、五味子（一升）。上药研为散。早晨用井花水送服方寸匕，每日三次。
又一方：
配方：松脂（三两，烊化）、雄黄（一两）。上用虎爪搅拌令调和，做成如弹子大小的丸药。晚上放入笼中，点燃它，让女子裸体坐在笼中……
鹿角散：治疗妖魅病患。不论鬼魅是男是女，喜欢梦遗通奸，导致精神恍惚。
用法：用鹿角镑成屑，捣罗为细末。用水送服方寸匕。若患者自述病情则痊愈。另一方，用酒调服，每日三次。
治疗精魅感着，语言狂乱，悲伤恐惧无常，不进食。
用法：用水银一两，加入浆水一盏，在炭火上煎煮，取三分汁液。离火后，取生水银，如豌豆大小。空腹服一丸。
雄黄散：治疗鬼迷不醒，以及突然受惊魇住。
用法：用雄黄研如粉，吹入病患两个鼻孔中即愈。用桂枝也佳。
辟除各种邪祟附着，以及小儿惊哭恐悸。
用法：在安息处，取一个皂子焚烧，令烟升起，邪气自然离去。
治疗百种邪气鬼魅。
用法：服用头垢，如小豆大小。
又一方：治疗鬼魅。
用法：用水送服獭肝末，每日三次。《千金翼方》用獭绞肉。
治疗癫狂、鬼魅、以及蛊毒。
用法：用多年的鹊巢，烧之。也可敷疮，效果良好。
治疗鬼魅、传尸、温疫、魍魉、神等。
用法：取古厕所的木头，以太岁所在的日时，对着门户烧熏它。
辟除百种邪气鬼魅。
用法：佩戴雄黄，鬼神不能靠近。进入山林，老虎野狼伏地不起。济川地区，毒物不敢伤害。
治疗人睡觉忽然不醒。
注意：不要用火照，照了会杀人。只需用力咬其肿胀处，以及足大拇指甲边缘，多向其面部吐唾沫即可救活。再用菖蒲末吹入两个鼻孔中。
(Attached Discussion)
The Heart is the convergence of Jing (Essence) and the residence of Shen (Spirit). If Heart Qi is insufficient, it leads to mental and physical exhaustion. Pathogenic factors take advantage of this deficiency to invade, resulting in Gui Mei (disease attributed to malevolent spirits). The manifestation causes shortness of breath.
Prescriptions:
Awei San (Asafoetida Powder): Treats dreams of sexual intercourse with spirits, as well as afflictions by fox spirits and other malevolent entities.
Ingredients: Wild fox skin (roasted), leopard nose (roasted, seven pieces each), fox skull bone (one piece, roasted), Xionghuang (Realgar, 1 liang), Asarum umbilicus (Tibetan musk, 1 liang), Arisaema cum Baccis (Gui Jian Yu, burned to ash). If using bones, use Pine Resin. Take in divided doses.
Xionghuang San (Realgar Powder): Treats deficiency of Qi in the Five Zang and Six Fu organs, loss of Hun (Ethereal Soul) and Po (Corporeal Soul), discomfort in the five viscera, sudden mood swings between joy and sorrow, fear as if haunted by spirits. These symptoms all stem from great fright.
Ingredients: Xionghuang (Realgar, 1 liang, finely ground), Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix, 0.5 liang), Huanglian (Coptidis Rhizoma, 3 fen, remove stamens), Huangbai (Phellodendri Cortex, 1 fen, chopped), Chuan Dahuang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma, 0.5 liang, chopped, lightly stir-fried), Wuzhuyu (Evodiae Fructus, 0.5 liang), Puhuang (Typhae Pollen). Mix with wine and take 1 qian.
Another Formula:
Jiu Jing Wan (Nine Essences Pill): Treats infection by malevolent spirit Qi, causing fright, terror, weeping, and crying with irregular onset. Also known as Jiu Wu Niuhuang Wan (Nine-Ingredient Buffalo Calculus Pill).
Ingredients: Niuhuang (Bovis Calculus, ground, 2 liang), Jingshi (Elsholtziae Fructus, 2 liang), Cengqing (Chalcocite, ground, 2 liang), Wuxie (Five Residues, ground, 2 liang), Xionghuang (Realgar, ground, 2 liang), Kongqing (Azurite, ground, 2 liang). Form into pills. Take one pill warm before meals.
Huanhuan Wan (Yellow Ring Pill): Treats pathogenic Qi and malevolent spirits; pulse presentation shows the Renying (Stomach Meridian point at neck) and Qikou (Lung Meridian point at wrist) pulses fluctuating in size.
Ingredients: Huanhuan (5 liang), Hupo (Amber, ground, 2 liang), Dansha (Cinnabar, ground, 2 liang), Shengyin (Raw Silver, water-ground fine, 2 liang), Longdan (Gentianae Radix, 2 liang), Bitouweng (Pedicularis resupinata root), Earthworm. Mix with dough paste to form pills.
Sha Gui Wu Xie Wan (Ghost-Slaying Five Evils Pill): Treats possession by pathogenic Qi and malevolent spirits, characterized by delirious speech, running wildly, confusion, and failure to recognize people.
Ingredients: Dansha (Cinnabar, ground, 1.5 liang), Longgu (Fossilized Bones, 1.5 liang), Jiujiao (Podophylli Fructus, remove hairs, roast, 1.5 liang), Chi Xiaodou (Adzuki Bean, 1.5 liang), Gui Jian Yu (Arisaema cum Baccis, remove stems, 2 liang). Pound and sieve into fine powder. Dosage for children should be reduced. Take daily.
Da Sha Gui Wan (Great Ghost-Slaying Pill): Eliminates all types of ghosts, demons, and dwarfs (malevolent spirits).
Ingredients: Hutou Gu (Tiger Skull Bone, 3 liang), Xionghuang (Realgar, 1 liang, finely ground), Jiujiao (Podophylli Fructus, 1 liang, remove hairs), Tianxiong (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Preparata, 1 liang, remove navel), Zaojia (Gleditsiae Sinensis Fructus, remove seeds and skin, 1 liang). For treating Zhu disease (chronic infectious disease) and afflicted patients.
Hu Zhua Wan (Tiger Claw Pill): Treats manic evil and malevolent spirits, delirious speech, running wildly, confusion, and failure to recognize people. Also known as Sha Gui Wan (Ghost-Slaying Pill).
Ingredients: Hu Zhua (Tiger Claws, burned, 3 liang), Dansha (Cinnabar, finely ground, also referred to as Red Cinnabar), Xionghuang (Realgar, finely ground), Xie Zhua (Crab Claws, burned, 1 liang each). Except for those already ground, process the rest into fine powder. Then...
Si Wu Yuan Tou San (Four-Ingredient Vulture Head Powder): Treats malevolent spirits.
Ingredients: Donghai Yuan Tou (Vulture Head from East Sea, derived from Byola root), Huang Ya Shi (Yellow Tooth Stone, also known as Gold Tooth), Fangkui (Peucedani Radix), Langdang Zi (Datura Seed, 1 fen, wash with water to remove floating ones, boil with gold...). Another formula.
Another Prescription: Treats women having sexual intercourse with spirits, speaking and laughing alone, or feeling sad and thoughtful with a confused demeanor.
Ingredients: Xionghuang (Realgar), Renshen (Ginseng Radix), Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix) (each 1 liang), Wuweizi (Schisandrae Fructus, 1 sheng). Process into powder. Take one fangcun bi (square-inch measure) with well water in the morning, three times a day.
Another Prescription:
Ingredients: Songzhi (Pine Resin, 3 liang, melted), Xionghuang (Realgar, 1 liang). Stir with tiger claws until mixed, form into pills the size of a bullet. At night, place in a cage and burn it. Let the naked woman sit in the cage...
Lujiao San (Deer Horn Powder): Treats diseases caused by demonic enchantments. Regardless of whether the spirit is male or female, it involves frequent dreams of spiritual intercourse, leading to mental confusion.
Usage: Shave deer horns into flakes, pound and sieve into fine powder. Take one fangcun bi with water. Recovery is indicated if the patient speaks voluntarily. Another method: take with wine, three doses per day.
Treatment for essence-spirit attachment, characterized by delirious speech, constant fear and sadness, and anorexia.
Usage: Take 1 liang of Mercury, add one zhan of Jiangshui (fermented grain liquid), simmer over charcoal fire until reduced to three parts. Remove from fire, take raw Mercury, form into pills the size of mung beans. Take one pill on an empty stomach.
Xionghuang San (Realgar Powder): Treats spirit bewitchment causing unconsciousness, and sudden nightmare suffocation.
Usage: Grind Realgar into powder and insufflate into both nostrils of the patient for recovery. Cassia Twig is also effective.
Expels various evil influences attaching to the body, and treats infantile fright crying and palpitations.
Usage: At a place of peace, burn one soap pod until smoke rises; the evil will depart naturally.
Treats hundred types of pathogenic Qi and malevolent spirits.
Usage: Take head scurf, size of a small bean.
Another Prescription: Treats malevolent spirits.
Usage: Take water with Beaver Liver powder, three times daily. *Qianjin Yi Fang* uses beaver meat juice.
Treats epilepsy, mania, malevolent spirits, and gu poison.
Usage: Burn old magpie nests. Can also be applied to sores for good effect.
Treats malevolent spirits, Chuanshi (tuberculosis-like wasting disease), Wenyi (epidemic febrile diseases), Wangliang (dwarfs/monsters), and deities.
Usage: Take wood from ancient latrines. On the day and hour corresponding to the Tai Sui (Grand Duke Jupiter), burn and fumigate facing the door.
Expels hundred types of pathogenic Qi and malevolent spirits.
Usage: Wear Realgar; ghosts and gods cannot approach. Entering mountains, tigers and wild wolves lie down. In Jichuan, poisonous creatures dare not harm.
Expels evil enchantments.
Usage: Burn white mustard seeds to ash and ingest.
Treats malevolent spirits, divine evil, and fox enchantments.
Usage: Boil leopard noses and fox noses together and ingest.
Treats demonic enchantments.
Usage: Consume fox heart and liver raw.
Treats sudden unconsciousness during sleep.
Note: Do not illuminate with fire, as it can cause death. Instead, bite firmly on the swollen area and the edge of the big toenail. Spit frequently on the face to revive. Insufflate Acorus powder into both nostrils.
Another Prescription:
Treats fox enchantments.
Usage: Burn eagle beak and claws to ash, mix with drink and ingest.
Treats essence-spirit pathogenic Qi.
Usage: Decoct peach talismans and drink the juice. Alternatively, take Tao Shuang Wan powder. Alternatively, chew one peach kernel every night, mix with honey, and apply to hands and face for good effect.
Treats demonic enchantments and epidemics.
Ingredients: Zhusha (Cinnabar), Xionghuang (Realgar). Process into powder, mix with vinegar, and drip into nostrils.
