发明 狗属土而有火，故歹人履其地虽卧必省，天时亢热则卧阴地。下元虚人食之最宜
，但食后必发口燥，惟啜米汤以解之。败疮稀水不敛，日啖狗肉最佳。痔漏人岁久不愈，日
食自瘥。凡食犬肉不消，心下消或腹胀口干大渴，心急发热，妄语如狂，或洞下泄，以杏仁
一升，合皮熟研，沸汤三升，和取汁，分三服，利下肉片大验。狗胆，《本经》主明目，取
其夜能见物也。阴茎治伤中阴痿不起，除女子带下十二疾。狗头骨 末，止妇人崩中下痢，
取其温而能散也。狗屎中米，名戌腹粮，又名白龙砂，主噎膈风病，及痘疮倒 ，用此催浆
为最，取其性温热也。若干紫黑焦为血热毒盛，慎勿误用。其血能破妖邪，以性属阳，阴邪
不能胜之也。
甘温有毒。羊类多种，惟白羯者良。胡羊毛卷，洮羊毛丰，肉浓、皮薄，并可为裘
。羊坟首， 羊色黄、形羸味薄，不堪供馔。凡煮羊，忌用铜器。有宿热者不可食，大病
食之必发热，疮家及痼疾家食之必发，以其食百草之毒也。羊肉不可共生鱼 ，食能害人。
白羊黑首，食其脑作肠痈。羊肝共生椒，食之伤人五脏。羊蹄中有白珠者，名羊悬，食之令
人癫。羊独角及四角者，关外有之，皆有毒，不宜食。
发明 羊为肺家之兽，目无瞳子，周身之气皆聚于肺，故其气最腥膻，而性味甘温。色
白补肺，是以昔人有人参补气，羊肉补形之说。《金匮》治产后腹中虚痛，及少腹寒疝，并
用当归生姜羊肉汤，专取羊肉之甘温。煮汤去滓，以助当归生姜辛散之力，虚滞得以开矣。
羊肾治肾虚，膀胱蓄热、胞痹、小便淋沥疼胀，《千金》肾沥汤以之为主。羊石子即羊之外
肾，治肾虚精滑，《本事》金锁丹用之。羊脬治下虚遗溺，温水漂净，入补骨脂，焙干为末
，卧时温酒服半两，不过四五服即瘥。羊肝补肝，专主肝经受伤，目无精光之病。胆治青盲
、目暗，胆开窍于目，胆汁充则目明，胆汁减则目暗。古方碧云膏，腊月取羯羊胆以蜜盛满
悬檐下，待霜出扫藏，点眼神效。羊乳润而且补，反胃人宜时时食之，取开胃脘润大肠之燥
也，青羊者尤良。羊肺治嗽止渴，久嗽肺虚者宜之。羊 主反胃止汗，治虚羸，小便数。羊
脂生主下痢脱肛，取润之导之，补中寓泻也。熟主贼风痿痹，润肌肤入膏透经络，风热毒瓦斯
，妇人产后腹中绞痛，丸剂中最宜。羊 涤除脏腑垢腻、与猪 同功，而入肺祛痰尤捷。羊
骨禀西方坚劲之气最锐，得火 以济之，可以消铜铁，故误吞铜铁者用之。观磨镜者非此不
明。其治贼风痹痛，同虎骨 灰酒服，皆随痛处取用。羊须烧灰敷小儿疳，并疗蠼 尿疮。
羊胎炙干入药，亦能补人。与鹿胎、紫河车同入六味地黄丸中，名三台丸，调补肾虚羸瘦最
为得力。羊血解石药毒，《外台》云，凡服丹石人忌食羊血十年，一食前功尽亡。凡服石药
觉毒发，刺羊血热饮一升即解，服地黄、何首乌补药者忌之。

【发明】狗属土而兼有火性，所以品行恶劣的人踩踏其居住地，即使躺下也必定清醒；天气极度炎热时，它们会躺在阴凉处。下元（肾与命门）虚损之人食用最为适宜，但食用后必然出现口燥症状，只有喝米汤才能缓解。对于溃烂疮疡流稀水久不收敛的情况，每日食用狗肉效果最佳。患有痔疮瘘管且多年不愈者，每日食用可自行痊愈。凡是吃了犬肉消化不良，导致心下痞满或腹胀、口干大渴、心急发热、胡言乱语如发狂状，或者腹泻如水样，可用杏仁一升，带皮煮熟研磨，用沸水三升调和取汁，分三次服用，排出未消化的肉片，疗效显著。狗胆，《神农本草经》记载主治明目，取其夜间能见物的特性。狗阴茎治疗中气损伤导致的阳痿不起，以及消除女子十二种带下病。狗头骨研成末，能止住妇人崩漏和下痢，取其温热而能散结的特性。狗屎中的米粒状物质，名叫“戌腹粮”，又名“白龙砂”，主治噎膈风病及痘疮倒陷，用它来催浆出痘效果最好，取其性温热的缘故。如果颜色紫黑焦枯则为血热毒盛，切勿误用。狗血能破除妖邪，因为其属性属阳，阴邪不能胜过它。

[Invention] The dog belongs to Earth and possesses Fire attributes. Therefore, people of ill character stepping on its dwelling place will remain awake even when lying down; during extreme heat, they lie in shady places. It is most suitable for individuals with deficiency of the Lower Yuan (Kidney and Mingmen). However, consumption inevitably causes dry mouth, which can only be relieved by drinking rice soup. For chronic ulcers discharging thin fluid that fail to heal, daily consumption of dog meat is optimal. Individuals suffering from hemorrhoids and fistulas that have persisted for years may recover through daily consumption. If dog meat digestion failure occurs, leading to epigastric fullness or abdominal distension, severe thirst, cardiac irritability, fever, delirium resembling mania, or watery diarrhea, use one sheng of apricot kernels (Xingren), ground with skin while cooked, mixed with three sheng of boiling water to extract the juice, divided into three doses. Expelling undigested meat pieces demonstrates significant efficacy. Dog gallbladder: *Shennong Bencao Jing* states it brightens the eyes, utilizing its ability to see at night. Dog penis treats Qi injury causing impotence and eliminates twelve types of leukorrhea in women. Powdered dog skull bone stops metrorrhagia and dysentery in women, leveraging its warm and dispersing properties. Rice-grain-like matter in dog feces, named "Xu Fuliang" or "White Dragon Sand," treats dysphagia due to wind-phlegm and inverted smallpox pustules; it is most effective for promoting pus formation due to its warm nature. If purple-black and scorched, it indicates excessive blood-heat toxin; do not misuse. Dog blood breaks evil influences because its nature is Yang, overcoming Yin pathogens.
Sweet, warm in nature, toxic. There are many varieties of sheep; only white castrated rams (Jieyang) are superior. Hu sheep wool is curly, Taozhou sheep wool is lush; their meat is rich and skin thin, suitable for making fur coats. "Yang Fenshou" sheep are yellow, emaciated, and bland, unfit for culinary use. When cooking mutton, copper vessels must be avoided. Those with latent heat should not eat it; patients recovering from serious illnesses will develop fever if they consume it, and those with chronic sores or stubborn diseases will relapse, as they ingest toxic herbs. Mutton should not be eaten with raw fish, as this harms the body. Black-headed white sheep brains cause intestinal abscesses. Sheep liver eaten with Sichuan pepper damages the five Zang organs. White pearls found in sheep hooves, named "Yang Xuan," cause madness if consumed. Hornless or four-horned sheep, found outside the passes, are toxic and unsuitable for consumption.
[Invention] The sheep is the beast of the Lung organ. Its eyes lack pupils, and all Qi in its body gathers in the lungs; thus, its odor is strongly gamey, and its nature is sweet and warm. White color tonifies the Lung. Hence, ancients said, "Ginseng tonifies Qi, mutton tonifies Form." *Jingui Yaolue* uses Danggui Shengjiang Roushu Tang (Angelica Ginger Mutton Decoction) for postpartum abdominal deficiency pain and cold hernia in the lower abdomen, specifically utilizing the sweet-warm nature of mutton. Boiled into soup, strained, and combined with the acrid-dispersing power of Angelica and Ginger, it opens deficiency stagnation. Sheep kidney treats Kidney deficiency, heat accumulation in the Bladder, bladder bi-syndrome, and painful dribbling urination; Shenli Tang (*Qianjin Fang*) uses it as the main ingredient. "Yang Shizi" refers to the external kidney, treating Kidney deficiency with seminal emission; Jinluo Dan (*Baoshi Fang*) utilizes it. Sheep urinary bladder treats lower deficiency enuresis. Wash clean with warm water, add Psoralea fruit (Buguzhi), bake dry, powder, and take half liang with warm wine before sleep. Recovery occurs within four to five doses. Sheep liver tonifies the Liver, specifically treating Liver channel injury resulting in dull eyes. Sheep gallbladder treats blindness and dim vision. The Gallbladder opens into the eyes; sufficient bile clarifies vision, while deficient bile dims it. Ancient formula Biyun Gao involves collecting ram gallbladders in the twelfth lunar month, filling them with honey, hanging under eaves, collecting frost upon formation, and using for eye application with divine efficacy. Sheep milk is moistening and tonifying, suitable for regurgitation patients to frequently consume, opening the stomach and moistening large intestine dryness; green sheep are best. Sheep lung treats cough and stops thirst, suitable for prolonged cough with Lung deficiency. Sheep abomasum (stomach) treats regurgitation, stops sweating, and addresses wasting-thirstiness and frequent urination. Raw sheep fat treats dysentery and rectal prolapse, using moistening and guiding properties, containing purgative action within tonification. Cooked sheep fat treats wind-stroke flaccidity and bi-pain, moistens skin, penetrates collaterals in ointments, and treats wind-heat toxins and postpartum abdominal colic; ideal for pills. Sheep pancreas cleanses visceral filth, functioning like pig pancreas but more swiftly clearing Lung phlegm. Sheep bones inherit the firm and sharp Qi of the West; aided by Fire, they can melt copper and iron, thus used for swallowed metal objects. Mirror polishers rely on them for clarity. For wind-bi pain, taken with tiger bone ash and wine, applied according to pain location. Burnt sheep whiskers treat pediatric malnutrition (Gan syndrome) and quchu urine sores. Roasted dried sheep fetus is medicinal and tonifying. Combined with deer fetus and placenta (Ziheche) in Liuwei Dihuang Wan, forming Santai Wan, it effectively regulates Kidney deficiency and emaciation. Sheep blood resolves mineral drug toxicity. *Waitai Miyao* states that those taking cinnabar/mineral drugs must avoid sheep blood for ten years; consumption nullifies prior effects. If mineral drug toxicity manifests, drinking one sheng of hot sheep blood resolves it. Contraindicated for those taking Rehmannia and Polygonum multiflorum tonics.
