Yan Yonghe's Guipi Tang (Restore the Spleen Decoction) treats mental fatigue and injury caused by overthinking; it uses Longan Aril (Longyan Rou) for its sweet flavor to enter the spleen, thereby enhancing human intelligence and illuminating the spirit (Shenming).

Sweet, Salty, Neutral, Non-toxic. Its nature descends. Yin and sinking. It is a herb for the Foot Jueyin Liver Meridian.
[Indications]
Treats diseases of the Liver Meridian. Therefore, it is suitable to be combined with the heavy and descending properties of Qingmusshi (Lapis Malachitis) to relieve stagnation, allowing the Wood element to become balanced and qi to descend, thus facilitating the unblocking of phlegm accumulations. However, it should only be used for emergency rescue. It is not suitable for those with weak qi and deficient spleen to take indiscriminately.

[Indications]
Rebellious qi in the hypochondrium. Rebellious qi in the chest. Gasping breath nearing cessation. Descends qi and resolves phlegm. It enters the Hand Taiyin Lung Meridian. However, it excels at descending qi and is suitable for cases of lung qi obstruction with excess and phlegm. If the condition is deficiency with persistent hard rebellious qi, it should not be used to drain the source of transformation.
