汁，以配白虎等六神，以诸汁合面，豆、杏作饼，楮叶包 ，待生黄衣，晒收之。
炒制后使用。

味甘，味咸，性寒，无毒。宽胸理气、补益元气，清热散瘀。消除心腹部的胀满感，引导大肠内的浊气下行。
休息痢（慢性痢疾反复发作），用醋煎煮后食用。（验方第一。）
杖刑造成的青肿疮伤，切片贴敷患处。（第二。）
烧酒醉死（酒精中毒昏迷），切片遍贴全身，再更换。（第三。）
眼睛红肿疼痛，切片敷于眼部。酸味的勿用。（第四。）
疽病平坦不起，颜色紫硬并流出黄水，病程较长的，用豆腐、白矾、鸡蛋清混合外敷，效果显著。（第五。）
炒制后使用。陈久的药材更好。

制作神曲的方法：在五月五日或六月六日，取适量白面，加入青蒿汁、赤小豆末、杏仁泥、苍耳汁、野蓼汁，配合“白虎”等六神（指代特定的发酵菌群或传统配方概念），将这些汁液与面粉混合，加入豆类和杏仁做成饼状，用楮树叶包裹，待表面生出黄色菌衣后，晒干收藏。

Sweet, neutral in nature, non-toxic. Harmonizes the middle jiao and directs qi downward, regulates the spleen and warms the stomach, dispels summerheat and dampness, relieves thirst, and arrests diarrhea. Treats cholera-like syndrome with vomiting and diarrhea, and eliminates leukorrhea (vaginal discharge) that is red or white.
For cholera-like syndrome with vomiting and diarrhea, decoct together with Moslae Herba (Xiangru) and take orally. (Verified Formula No. 1.)
For cholera-like syndrome with muscle spasms (charley-horse), mix the powder with vinegar and take orally. (No. 2.)
For persistent polydipsia (xiao ke), prepare pills with honey using Trichosanthis Radix (Huafen), and swallow with a decoction of Trichosanthis Radix. (No. 3.)
For red and white leukorrhea, stir-fry until dry, grind into powder, and take each dose with rice water. (No. 4.)
For arsenic poisoning, crush the raw drug, mix with water, wring out the juice, and take orally. (No. 5.)
For poisoning from various bird meats. Use the same method as above. (No. 6.)
For malignant sores with crusts, itching, and pain, crush and apply externally to the lesion; healing occurs when the crust falls off. (No. 7.)
For metrorrhagia (uterine bleeding) that does not stop, bake Doukou Flower (Bian Dou Hua) until dry, grind into powder, boil fried rice in water to make a drink, add a little salt, mix well, and take orally. (No. 8.)
Red and white leukorrhea. Use the same method as above. (No. 9.)
For cholera-like syndrome with vomiting and diarrhea, decoct leaves of Dolichos Lablab (Bian Dou Ye) in water and take orally. (No. 10.)
Sweet, bitter, cold in nature, non-toxic. Regulates the middle jiao, directs qi downward, clears irritability, and stops vomiting. Releases exterior symptoms of Cold Damage (Shanghan) and clears muscular heat caused by epidemic febrile diseases.
For fever and headache, decoct together with Scallion White (Cong Bai) in water and take orally. (Verified Formula No. 1.) For bloody dysentery that does not stop, prepare pills with garlic and take orally. (No. 2.)
Sweet, salty, cold in nature, non-toxic. Relaxes the chest and benefits qi, clears heat, and dissipates blood stasis. Eliminates distension and fullness in the heart and abdomen, and directs turbid qi downward from the large intestine.
For chronic recurrent dysentery (xiu li), decoct with vinegar and consume. (Verified Formula No. 1.)
For bruising and swelling from beating injuries, slice and apply topically to the affected area. (No. 2.)
For alcohol intoxication leading to coma, slice and apply all over the body, replacing as needed. (No. 3.)
For red, swollen, and painful eyes, slice and apply topically. Do not use sour varieties. (No. 4.)
For carbuncles that are flat, purple-hard, exuding yellow fluid, and of long duration, mix Tofu (Doufu), Alum (Baifan), and Egg White (Jizi Qing), apply externally, and it yields great efficacy. (No. 5.)
Use after stir-frying. Older stored drugs are superior.
Sweet, pungent, warm in nature, non-toxic. Promotes qi movement and resolves phlegm, opens the appetite and aids digestion, stops lactation, induces abortion, breaks up nodules and masses. Treats dysentery to reduce distension and fullness, calms cholera-like syndrome, and alleviates acute lower back sprain.
Method for preparing Shen Qu (Medicated Leaven): On the fifth day of the fifth lunar month or the sixth day of the sixth lunar month, take a certain amount of wheat flour, Qinghao Juice (Artemisiae Annuae Herba Juice), Powder of Vigna Angularis Seed (Chixiaodou Mo), Almond Paste, Acanthopanacis Senticosi Caulis Juice (Canger Zi Zhi), and Polygoni Avicularis Herba Juice (Yeliao Zhi). Combine these juices with the flour, add beans and almonds to form cakes, wrap them in Broussonetia Papyrifera Leaves (Chu Ye), wait until a yellow mold layer grows on the surface, then sun-dry and store.
