上件各等分，为细末，以 羊乳调如膏，夜以涂面，旦以浆水洗之。

Treats alopecia and hair loss caused by Head Wind (Tou Feng).
Qin Jiao (Zanthoxyli Pericarpium), Xiang Bai Zhi (Angelicae Dahuricae Radix), Chuan Xiong (Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma) [each 1 liang], Man Jing Zi (Viticis Fructus), Fu Zi (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata), Ling Ling Xiang (Lingzhi Fragrantia) [each 0.5 liang].
Finely chop the above ingredients, wrap them in silk, and soak them in 1 jin of raw Sesame Oil (Sesamum indicum) in a porcelain vessel for three to seven days. Apply to areas with sparse hair; avoid dripping onto the face.
Expels Wind and promotes hair growth.
Bai Zhi (Cupressi Cacumen) [dried], Jiao Hong (Zanthoxyli Pericarpium), Ban Xia (Pinelliae Tuber) [each 3 liang].
Chop the above ingredients. Decoct in two bowls of water until half remains, add a small amount of Honey, and boil once or twice more. When using, add a small amount of Ginger Juice, mix well, and rub.
Nourishes the complexion and expels Wind. (Facial Pomade Formula.)
Huang Qi (Astragali Radix), Dang Gui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix) [washed and dried], Fang Feng (Saposhnikoviae Radix) [remove rhizome], Tan Xiang (Santalum Album Lignum), Gua Lou (Trichosanthis Fructus) [remove peel], Xiang Bai Zhi (Angelicae Dahuricae Radix) [these six herbs each 0.5 liang], Gan Song (Nardostachyos Radix et Rhizoma) [remove soil].
[Nineteen pieces of missing ingredient], remove [impurities].
Crush the sixteen herbs (excluding oil), dry them by baking, and simmer in oil over low heat for one shi (approx. 2 hours). Remove the herbal residues. Weigh the infused oil again; use as needed.
Expels facial acne and [spots]. (Formulas below for facial acne and [spots].)
Hei Qian Niu (Pharbitidis Semen) [12 liang, raw], Xiang Bai Zhi (Angelicae Dahuricae Radix), Ling Ling Xiang (Lingzhi Fragrantia), Gan Song (Nardostachyos Radix et Rhizoma) [remove soil], Gua Lou Gen (Trichosanthis Radix) [these four herbs each 2 liang], Cha Zi [remove black skin].
Grind into a fine powder and use like common cosmetic powder.
Treats facial [spots] and acne.
Gao Ben (Ligustici Wallichii Rhizoma et Radix) [4 liang], Hei Qian Niu (Pharbitidis Semen) [2 liang], Hei Dou (Sojae Semen Nigrum) [one small cup], Zao Jiao (Gleditsiae Fructus) [ten pods, straight ones].
Grind into powder and wash frequently like bath bean powder.
Treats facial [spots], acne, and scabs.
Shi Chang Pu (Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma) [nine-joint type], Gan Cao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma), Bai Fu Ling (Poria), Dan Chi (Sojae Semen Praeparatum), Zao Jiao (Gleditsiae Fructus) [plump, straight pods, remove peel and seeds].
Mix equal parts of the above into a powder. Before sleep, wash face with Zao Jiao water, pat dry completely, mix with Egg White (Albumen Ovi), apply to the face. In the morning, [wash off or continue using] this medicine.
Treats dark complexion and rough wrinkles.
Bai Fu Zi (Typhonii Rhizoma) [raw], Mi Tuo Seng (Lithargyrum), Mu Li (Ostrea Concha) [calcined to powder], Bai Fu Ling (Poria), Chuan Xiong (Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma).
Mix equal parts into a fine powder. Mix with Sheep Milk to form a paste. Apply to the face at night, and wash off with sour rice water in the morning.
