Treats conditions caused by irregular diet, leading to disharmony of Ying and Wei (Nutritive and Defensive Qi), with wind pathogens invading between the Zang-Fu organs. This results in weakness of the intestines and stomach, manifesting as diarrhea, borborygmus (intestinal rumbling), distension of the abdomen and hypochondrium, tenesmus (feeling of incomplete defecation with heavy sensation in the rectum), frequent episodes day and night, and loss of appetite.
Coptidis Rhizoma (Lianhua) (remove stamens)
Euphorbiae Semen Preparatum (Ejiao) (stir-fried with donkey-hide gelatin powder until bead-like)
Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui) (wash clean; these three herbs each take two liang)
Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma (Renshen) (remove rhizome head)
Os Draconis (Longgu) (calcined until red)
Terminalia Chebula Retzii Fructus (Hezi) (heat-stir-fried and pitted)
Myristicae Semen (Roudoukou) (dried/halved; half a liang)
Grind the above ingredients into fine powder. Use vinegar-boiled wheat paste as a binder to make pills the size of sophora seeds. Take fifty pills per dose, washed down with rice water. If abdominal pain is present, wash down with decoction of Angelicae Sinensis Radix.
Treats deficiency-cold of the Zang organs, with continuous diarrhea, tenesmus, and pain in the umbilical and abdominal regions.

Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex (Houpo) (two liang)
Grind the above ingredients into fine powder. Mix evenly with Calcitrum. Use steamed leavened bread soaked in hot water as a binder to make pills the size of sophora seeds. Take one hundred pills per dose, washed down with glutinous rice water. Take on an empty stomach.
Treats cold stagnation in the Zang-Fu organs, weakness of the intestines and stomach, abdominal pain with diarrhea, and complete loss of appetite.
Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata (Fuzi) (processed, remove skin and navel, one liang)
Asari Radix et Rhizoma (Xixin) (remove soil, leaves, and stems, seven qian and half)
Zingiberis Rhizoma (Ganjiang) (processed, one liang and half)

Evodiae Fructus (Wuzhuyu) (two liang and half, soak in vinegar overnight, take out, weigh one liang, and grind)
Poria (Fuling) (one liang)
Grind the above ingredients into fine powder. Mix with vinegar-boiled wheat paste to make pills the size of sophora seeds. Take thirty pills per dose, washed down with warm rice water. Take before meals.
Treats long-term weakness of the Zang-Fu organs, chronic cold in the intestines and stomach, and frequent diarrhea.
