Ye Zi'ang passed down the tradition.
For males, use the left hand; for females, use the right hand. Measure from the tip of the middle finger to its base, taking the length of the first phalanx as the standard unit. Use this measurement to gauge the distance starting from the end of the coccyx bone. (The location is in the waist region.)
If the condition is severe, moxa should be applied to acupoints on both the left and right sides. For women suffering from Ru Yong (acute suppurative mastitis), this method is also applicable.
Tong Xianwei passed down the account.
In Longyou, a patient suffered from a back carbuncle that had ulcerated to the size of a bowl. Upon inspection, it was observed that only a thin membrane separated the wound from the internal organs. The patient believed death was inevitable. Someone used one large crucian carp, removed the entrails, stuffed them with ram dung, baked until charred black and extremely dry, then ground into a fine powder. This powder was applied dry to the wound, which subsequently healed, leaving the patient unharmed to this day.
Xingren (Almond) (37 grains) Badou (Croton Seed) (37 grains, oil removed completely) Dan (Realgar) (half qian) Ruxiang (Frankincense) (half qian)
First, grind the above ingredients together into a fine powder. Next, take 37 Huai dates, remove skin and pits, and crush them. Also take 37 Dingxiang (Clove), 37 Banmao (Mylabris), and 37 Wumei (Chinese Plum), remove pits, and grind these three into a fine powder. Mix thoroughly with the previous powder. Add ten wen worth of biscuit dough flour and ten wen worth of raw dough flour. Knead with cold water, wrap the medicine inside, and slow-roast for one day, ensuring it does not burn. Once cooked, remove and place on the ground, cover with a basin to dissipate heat/fire energy. Then retrieve the outer dough layer, keep only the medicine, grind finely again, add a small amount of steamed bun powder, drop water to form pills the size of mung beans. Elderly patients take seven pills; robust patients take ten pills. Immediately mix with a little Gancao (Licorice Root) and swallow with Malan Jiu (Horseweed Wine). In spring, use four liang of fresh Malan herb; after autumn, use four liang of Malan root white buds. Grind finely, mix with half sheng of wine, grind together, filter dregs, and swallow the pills. If alcohol is not consumed, honey water is acceptable, but do not exceed three doses.

The Dulu Fen of Poyang obtained this prescription by invoking the Great Immortal. Xu Gang carved woodblocks to print and distribute it. Bian Yong (perianal abscess).
Hengwen Gancao (Licorice Root with transverse striations) (one liang, roasted dry, ground into fine powder)
Divide into three doses. Mix one dose with hot wine free of sediment. After walking a distance equivalent to one li, take the second dose. Consume all three doses. Xu Gang of Poyang suddenly developed redness and swelling in his right foot, unable to walk for three days despite medical treatment. Upon taking this medicine, he could walk within moments, and recovered completely after a second dose.
