Stir-fry these two ingredients together until fragrant and cooked, then grind into a fine powder. Take 3 qian per dose, mixed with aged millet water, taken on an empty stomach and before bedtime, twice a day, for three days.
Treats lateral headache, frontal headache, and wind-head disorder.
Ephedra Stem (Ma Huang, remove roots and joints, 7.5 qian), Ginseng Root (Ren Shen, remove rhizome, 5 qian), Tangerine Peel (Chen Pi, remove white pith, 7 qian), Licorice Root (Gan Cao, remove skin, 8 qian), Poppy Shell (Yu Mi, quantity unspecified in text)
