从下数至第三根短肋稍尖处，灸二七壮艾炷，男性取左侧，女性取右侧；又在项后向下数至第三脊椎沟凹陷处施灸。
治疗男子妇人遗精滑泄，下元虚冷，以及疝气证候，妇人月经不调，大人小儿皆可服用。

以上药材研为细末，用鸡蛋清调和制成丸剂，如梧桐子大小，每次服用五十丸，空腹时，温酒送服，并进食干食以压住药力。
治疗虚损无法医治的疾病，极能固锁精气，调节阴阳升降，功效神奇。

The above ingredients are ground into a fine powder. Take 200 Jinyingzi (Rosa laevigata fruits), remove hairs and seeds, pound them thoroughly in a wooden mortar, add 7 sheng of water, decoct to obtain 1 sheng of concentrated juice, strain off the dregs, and mix with the medicine to form pills.
Moxibustion is applied at the slightly pointed tip of the third short rib counting from below, for 14 moxa cones (2x7 zhuang); males use the left side, females use the right side.
