\r紫白癜疯\p04-a41a203.bmp\r

Wang Kentang stated: Yangfeng (Ulcerative Wind) is caused by wind pathogens and accumulated heat residing in the lungs and intestines. Over time, they fail to dissipate and overflow into the skin, causing mottled, connected spots on the sides of the neck, chest, and axillae. The color is slightly white and round, though purple variants exist. These lesions are typically painless and non-pruritic. In all such cases, wind and heat lie concealed between the muscle layers (Ji Cou), leading to disharmony of Qi and Blood, which generates this disease. (From *Yixue Zhunsheng*)
Zidian Feng (Purple-White Vitiligo) [Image Placeholder]
Chen Shigong stated: Zidian Feng (Purple-White Vitiligo) refers to two distinct manifestations occurring on the same body. The purple hue results from blood stasis, while the white hue results from Qi stagnation. Generally, it is caused by a constitution prone to heat combined with invasion by wind-dampness, causing pore constriction and obstruction of Qi and Blood circulation. These conditions usually arise from external pathogenic invasion. In the initial stage, Wanling Dan can be used to induce sweating and disperse the pathogen. (From *Waike Zhengzong*)
