陈实功曰∶女子面生黧黑斑，此乃水亏不能制火，血弱不能华肉，以致火烁结
成黑斑，色枯不泽。妇人生此，不利于夫主。又疑事不决者，多有之。治当朝以肾
气丸以滋化源，早晚玉容丸洗擦自退。当戒忧思、动火劳伤等事。（《正宗》）
古一人登厕，被臭气熏触，隐忍良久，明日满面皆黑色，月余不散。相士云∶不
出月必死。一良医令以沉、檀香各一两，锉碎安炉中烧熏帐内，以被盖定，令病者瞑
目端坐，候香尽方可出帐门，日引鉴照之，面上黑色渐散矣。盖臭腐属水，香属土，土胜水也。
验方
白僵蚕 黑牵牛（各二两） 北细辛（二两）
研细蜜丸弹子大，日洗数次。一月后其斑自退，并治雀斑面生黑点。神效。

陈实功曰∶痣名黑子，此肾中浊气，混滞于阳，阳气收束，结成黑子，坚而不散。
凡人生此，终为不吉，面部不善者，去之。（《正宗》）
又曰∶冰蛳散点之，自落。
《心法》曰∶痣，乃孙络之血滞于卫分，阳气束结所致。
陈实功说：女子面部出现黧黑斑，这是因为肾水亏虚不能制约心火，血液虚弱不能滋养肌肉，导致火热灼烧凝结成黑斑，颜色枯槁无光泽。妇女长此斑，对丈夫不利。又有怀疑之事无法决断的人，多有发生这种情况。治疗应当早晨服用肾气丸以滋生化之源，早晚用玉容丸清洗擦拭，斑点自然消退。应当戒除忧思、动火劳伤等事项。（《外科正宗》）
古代有一人上厕所，被臭气熏触，隐忍了很久，第二天满脸都是黑色，一个多月都不消散。相士说：不出一个月必死。一位良医让他取沉香、檀香各一两，切碎放入炉中燃烧熏蒸帐内，用被子盖严，让病人闭目端坐，等到香料燃尽才可以走出帐门，每天拿着镜子照看，面上的黑色逐渐消散了。这是因为臭腐之气属水，香气属土，土能胜水。
验方
白僵蚕 黑牵牛（各二两） 北细辛（二两）
研成细末，用蜂蜜制成如弹子大小的丸药，每天清洗数次。一个月后斑点自然消退，并治疗雀斑和面部生黑点。效果神奇。
玉容散 用于面部黑点和雀斑。

陈实功说：痣名为黑子，这是肾中的浊气，混杂停滞于阳分，阳气收束，凝结成黑子，坚硬而不消散。凡是人生有此痣，终究不吉利，如果长在面部影响美观的，去除它。（《外科正宗》）
又说：用冰蛳散点涂，自然会脱落。
《医宗金鉴·外科心法要诀》说：痣，是孙络之血停滞在卫分，阳气束结所致。
Chen Shigong stated: When women develop dark black spots on the face, it is due to Kidney Water deficiency failing to control Fire, and Blood weakness failing to nourish flesh. This results in Fire scorching and condensing into black spots with a withered and lusterless appearance. Women suffering from this condition may face misfortune for their husbands. It is also observed that those who harbor doubts and cannot make decisions often develop such spots. Treatment should involve taking Shenqi Wan (Kidney Qi Pill) in the morning to nourish the source of transformation, and washing/rubbing the face morning and evening with Yurong Wan (Jade Face Pill) until the spots naturally fade. One must abstain from excessive worry, thinking, fire-activating activities, and overexertion. (*Waike Zhengzong*)
In ancient times, a man entered a latrine and was exposed to foul odors, enduring it for a long time. The next day, his entire face turned black, and the discoloration persisted for over a month. A physiognomist predicted he would die within the month. A skilled physician instructed him to take one liang each of Chenxiang (Aquilaria Lignum / Agarwood) and Tanxiang (Santalum Album Lignum / Sandalwood), crush them, place them in a censer to burn inside a tent, cover tightly with blankets, and have the patient sit upright with eyes closed. Only after the incense was consumed could he exit the tent. He was advised to check his reflection in a mirror daily, and the blackness on his face gradually dispersed. This is because foul/rotten smells belong to Water, while fragrant aromas belong to Earth; thus, Earth overcomes Water.
**Empirical Prescription**
Baijiangcan (Bombyx Batryticatus) and Heiqianniu (Pharbitidis Semen) (2 liang each); Beixixin (Asari Radix et Rhizoma) (2 liang).
Grind into fine powder, form pills the size of bean shoots using honey. Wash the face several times daily. After one month, the spots will naturally fade. Also treats freckles and black spots on the face. Highly effective.
**Yurong San (Jade Face Powder)**
Indicated for black spots and freckles on the face.
Gansong (Nardostachys Radix et Rhizoma), Sanna (Myristica Fragrans Seed), Maoxiang (Agastache Rugosa Herba) (5 qian each); Baizhi (Angelicae Dahuricae Radix), Baijiangcan (Bombyx Batryticatus), Baiji (Bletillae Rhizoma), Bailing (Ampelopsis Radix), Baifuzi (Typhonii Rhizoma), Tianhuafen (Trichosanthis Radix), Lvdoufen (Phaseoli Volubilis Semen) (1 liang each); Feizaopi (Soap Nut Fruit) (2 fruits); Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix), Bencao (Ligustici Rhizoma et Radix), Linglingxiang (Lingzheri Fructus) (3 qian each).
Grind into fine powder. Use during facial cleansing.
Chen Shigong stated: Moles are named "Heizi" (Black Seeds). They result from turbid Qi in the Kidney mixing and stagnating in the Yang aspect. Yang Qi constricts and binds, forming hard, persistent black seeds. Generally, having moles is considered inauspicious. If located on the face and affecting appearance, they should be removed. (*Waike Zhengzong*)
He further stated: Applying Bingsi San (Ice Snail Powder) will cause them to fall off naturally.
*Yizong Jinjian: Waike Xinfa Yaojue* states: Moles are caused by blood stasis in the Sunluo (branch collaterals) stagnating in the Wei (Defensive) division, resulting from constriction and binding by Yang Qi.
